When we started, we had no followers, nothing that is close to a community, and therefore we chose the humble name ElitNovum. This means “New Developer”, and was fitting. After many trouble with naming, we crashed over some ideas of names, and one was Imperium. Now, since we want to give more form to our team, and our product, we chose a new name.

This is the name of our package manager. All features will be the ones the public asks for. We want our product to last, and Imperium ain’t gonna cut it.

We had to get a more professional name. This became CypherDev since this describes our main product well. But for the public, we will remain CyDev. Easy, and short. Quick reminder of who is of the team:
