[16:57] Himari Kurokaiyo asks, "Would you like to help me with something?"
[16:57] Alyssa cos D'Arnette asks, "Hm?"
[16:58] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "Strip."
[16:58] Alyssa cos D'Arnette asks, "...I'm sorry?"
[16:59] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "Why are you apoogizing."
[16:59] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "I said, strip."
[17:00] Alyssa cos D'Arnette asks, "..Why do I need to strip..? And how far?"
[17:00] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "Just down to your underclothing."
[17:01] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "I don't need to see underwear.."
[17:01] Alyssa strips her cloak and armor off, leaving pants and her shirt.

[17:01] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "Okay."
[17:01] Alyssa cos D'Arnette asks, "...Okay?"
[17:02] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "I will do the same. I'd like to do a few practice matches."
[17:02] Alyssa cos D'Arnette says, "Alright."
[17:02] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "But with a twist."
[17:02] Alyssa cos D'Arnette asks, "Which is?"
[17:02] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "No spells."
[17:03] Alyssa cos D'Arnette says, "Hm... Alright."
[17:03] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "I will make it harder for me by using this potential 'spark' in me to slow my movements significantly."
[17:03] Himari Kurokaiyo says, "I'll practically be fighting like I'm on another planet."
[17:31] Upon heading to the mat, Himari would strip off her kimono and set it aside at the bench that was near the entrance of the fighting mat. She'd clap her hands together as she arrived at the center of the ring whilst standing in front of her opponent. Himari was only now realizing that Alyssa had won her part of the tournament to be enlisted into the Dojo. And only recently after fighting her before. Himari kept thinking about it before she gave the exact details of her reason for this practice.

"I need to better myself. I'm way behind the other kids and that needs to change if I want to be something within this clan and in life. There's been this heavy weight on my shoulders do a while now and I've been able to control on certain degrees and it seems to be mostly based off my emotions. I can control the amount of pressure it puts on me, sort. So we'll just do this. I'm going to pressure myself as much as possible and that means I'm going to fight like I'm wearing pounds of weight."

Himari would spread her legs and take on her stance. Her fist would rise in an offensive style and her breathing would begin to slow and calm while her eyes were closed before reopening. "Ten times the weight." Himari would soon feel her body being pushed down. She almost and struggled to keep herself up but this was a form of training that she was going to get use to. She could feel all the feeling and stress being burdens and it'll all help her in the long run. Her body shook while she aimed to maintain her stance.

"A-Alright... I'm ready t-to go."

[17:33] She watched as the Kurokaiyo prepared herself, unsure what she was doing to weigh herself down so.. or why. Perhaps it was to increase her raw strength..? It was something one could never go wrong with.

Or perhaps her speed by learning to move at a rapid pace while under such weight, or was it perhaps some mixture of all of those things and more she would muse as she speaks.

"I see.. well I am ready."

The young noble slides into her stance, feet spread with one behind the other. One fist held to the fore, the other further back.

"This will probably be good for me as well."

It had been a while since she had fought entirely without magic to aid her.

[17:50] Himari would throw her punches hard and Alyssa would throw them harder than her. The Kurokaiyo would and should be struggling under the intense pressure she was under. It made her movement harder to move and she'd be left open before she could even defend herself to her liking. She, however, was getting slightly use to it. Feeling out the breaks of her defense and blocking when she would. She was no means quickly mastering it but she was on the right path.

"Keep it up, Himari," she muttered to herself, slowly raising and arm to her side as Alyssa landed a vicious kick to her side. The power of the strike hit her so hard that she felt the strength of gravity taking her down towards the ground as she flew, skidding across the mat. She grunted, attempting to lift herself while she gritted her teeth. It was hard, it truly was but Himari aimed to get through even if meant she'll be defeated countlessly.

"Time to step it up. Twenty times this round.." Himari finally got up after a whole minute but now that there was more added strength to the magic that overrode her, her body would be noticeably struggling. Her legs wiggled and her body swayed like she was going to fall and second. Mana steam leaked from her skin and sweat slid down her forehead. She was trying her best and it was obvious.

[17:52] She kept battering her weight or not, if Himari was anything like herself she wouldn't want someone to hold back the slightest when doing something like this. Her blows rained in a flurry, clearly abusing the slowed movements of her opponent to strike.

A kick sent her skidding across the ground only for her to rise once more after a minute or so. She could see the girl struggling, pushing herself even harder.. Then so would she.

"Come at me with it all. Show me you can master this."

She lunges, her form blurring with her speed.

[18:08] The moment Alyssa began to burst into high speeds, Himari would watch her with her eyes as her silhouette faded around her. He eyes felt heavy like she was about to sleep but that wasn't the case here.

The weight.. it's heavy.. struggling.. is this really it?

Himari watched and only to sense another attack coming her way. The heavy amount of gravity that was on her body making it hard for her to move. But now that she had sensed the attack prior, she predicated where she needed to dodge and did it a few seconds earlier to evade. Which seemed to work.

"That's.. i-it."

She encouraged herself as she succeeded in the task but that wouldn't have lasted for long. As the match continued to get longer, Alyssa's speed would continue to grow faster. She definitely couldn't keep up as the heaviness was putting a strain on her body from the extent of which she carried it.

Himari was confident, she felt the power flowing through her circuits with the weight getting stronger. However, she was slowly be surely getting the hang of it with time.

A sudden attack that left Himari on the ground once more, flat and looking at the ceiling of the Dojo. "I failed." She shook her head slightly before tilting it to the side.

"But... I got some knowledge."

Her eyes would slowly close as her vision blurred but she still had her conscious with her.

[18:12] She didn't hold back throwing herself towards her opponent without relenting, increased gravity or not. Her form blurring across the stone, the sound of blows thundering like rapid-fire when she struck.

She didn't have illusions to conceal herself to allow her to choose her moments, right here it was go all out or none. So she struck with everything she had.

She could see her adjusting to it, adapting to the heavier weights. She lets out a sharp cry, a crackle of mana runs from her arms to her feet, a redirection of sorts to enhance one part of her body even further beyond the rest.

She runs and jumps in a lunge, there was nearly a crack formed in the ground below as she lifted from the ground. Her raw speed was mindboggling, her body twisting in the air to deliver to deliver one final strike.

It slid the Kurokaiyo through the air to strike the mat.. that probably was a bit too intense for a sparring match. Though she wouldn't have done itif she didn't thin her fellow teen capable of taking it.

"You did well given the self-imposed handicap.. do you need assistance..?"

An offer to help her up.

[18:20] The weight had dissipated and it seemed that Himari had gotten the ability to move freely once more. A hand extended over to Alyssa's with a tighter grip than most.

"A handicap is what I assumed would work. Equivalent to weight training."

She stood up and begin to walk off to the exit, reaching for her kimono and placing it back on. She insisted for Alyssa to do the same while she looked towards her dazed out Uncle. She sighed.

"If I want to prevent things that happened to Akira, I'll need something else that will get me there. Instead of a strain on myself, a strain on others with my own power."

[18:21] Now it made sense, she wanted to acclimate herself to it.. so that she could inflict it onto others who were not. It seemed sound, in theory at least.

"I see, that comes across as a suitable strategy."

She steps over and re-straps her armor and cloak on. Adjusting the latter once on her shoulders.
