Background

From a bustling city, Lillyvia was born the youngest out of three children. Her parents, a pair of artisan woodcarvers, made a decent enough living managing a furniture shop in the city. Lillyvia grew up as a bright child, learning to read from a young age. She heard whispers of the unfortunate conditions Tieflings, apparently her kind, were oftentimes living under. Curious, she decided to begin reading into her race's history and culture.

Shocked at her discovery, she reflected on her own life until now in comparison- she had a home, a caring family, she wasn't noticed much more than other children in the city, the fact that she her parents lived in such a safe and comfortable part of it in the first place was absurd. Where were the mobs of people, distrustful of her heritage? Where were the whispers of infernal power, reaching out to her to give her the power to crush all in her path in her quest for revenge against these mobs?

This wasn't right, her life was... normal! Better than normal, even. She had everything she could want to earn a decent and respectable career, everything was already laid out for her by her parents' wisely consructed foundation. Confused, she asked her parents about this, to which they replied that they no longer lived in such barbaric times. People weren't so silly to grow fearful of such a thing, and the gods of evil intent no longer reached out to them as often as before, due to their decline in neccessity and desire.

Lillyvia returned to her daily life, contemplating her newfound understanding, she refused to accept it. She wanted to be special, something more than what was the norm of today. She wanted to be noticed for what she could do and what she was, and saw how her heritage could help her in this. She studied for many years, watching her siblings grow alongside her and become respectable members of society. Her eldest brother took up her parent's woodcarving trade, and is currently learning how to manage the store in preparation for their retirement. Her other brother, who is also older than her went to a prestigious academy for the gifted and talented, leaving her very few choices to be recognized.

Work with her eldest brother and manage her family's business, or study to become a scholar like her other, they were both already done by her siblings and she had no idea what she could do that was unique and recognizable as her idea. She agonized for months, before deciding- she would become an Adventurer. She would explore the world, unknown frontiers, combat dangerous monsters, and most importantly grow in power, she would be feared, people would cower in awe, and most importantly, Adventurers earned mountains of gold, which she often sent back home to help support her family.

The issue was however, that Lillyvia had no power, no natural talent at fighting. She had a minor amount of innate magic and could hold a weapon, but... Adventurer material? She was far from it, as such she decided to spend even more years researching ancient lore and forgotten secrets. Eventually, she finally did it, she realized one of her life goals, summoning a demon prince. [Something something, preferring Graz'zt as her patron right now anyways timeskip.] With newfound power lent to her by her patron and the resolve to begin her journey, Lillyvia left her home to travel to regions far away in her quest for power and fame.



Personality

An angsty teenager who tries to ignore her overly supportive parents. She thinks she's Serious Business™ and attempts to awe others with her quick wit and cunning mind. Secretly she can't bring herself to commit truly evil acts, merely doing good things and wording them in a way to make herself out to be a terrible and malevolent force not to be trifled with. Very sentimental and homesick, but would never admit it.



Physical Description

Small horns, fangs, a forked tongue, catlike eyes, a forked tail, dark blue skin, cast no reflection, exude a smell of brimstone.



Goals / Dreams / Obsessions

Rule the world, be taken seriously, get enough money adventuring to let her parents and siblings live the rest of their days without worrying about anything.



Personality Trait

This world would be so much better if there was no humor, jokesters never let anyone take me seriously like the cruel, infernal mistress that I totally am.


Ideals

One day, I will obtain ultimate power after a breakthrough in my research. After that, I will rule the world with an iron fist, all will cower in fear of my rains of hellfire and misery.


Bonds

My parents often send me embarassing letters, questioning me about my adventuring life. They treat it like I'm on a field trip, and write sickeningly sweet words of encouragement about what a brave girl I am.


Flaws

I think of myself as much more important than others, believing the struggles of my life until now entitle me to know better than others and for them to be apologetic to my cause.
