  1. Movie Date Monika Episode 2: Chick Fil A Guidance
  2.
  3. “Next Guest please!” You call out to the busy restaurant. A familiar face steps up. “Hey Hun! How is work so far today?” said Monika, your pregnant wife. “Aww, Moni, you can’t just hold up the line like this, it’s the lunch rush!” Monika tsked softly, “I will just have to order a tea then, and a uhh spicy southwestern salad. Now, how is work?” She demanded. A wife as wonderful as her was high maintenance, but absolutely worth it, like a colonial empire. “It’s been swell, most customers are nice since we are so nice to them. It’s the customer service here, everyone is in a good mood. Anyway, here is your tea and salad sweetheart. You sure spicy food is good for the baby?” She always gushed a little whenever you talked about your baby in public. Must be a girl thing.
  4.
  5. “Of course! There are entire countries that just eat spicy food, like India and Mexico! The baby will be fine, even if I am technically feeding him chemical weapons.” She pouted.
  6.
  7. “Well, just don’t gas anyone but yourself I guess. You plan on visiting here a lot? My boss might get annoyed…” “Nah, I shall charm him, and become the mascot of this Chick Fil A!”
  8.
  9. Resisting the urge to make a joke about cows in the chicken restaurant, you just said “Well, here’s your food. Eat it before it gets cold. Colder. Whatever.”
  10.
  11. “Thanks Anon! I love you so much!” She said, loud enough for people at the tables to turn around and see her kiss you on the cheek. Family restaurant or no, this was getting a bit too much. Health hazards and all that, although some patrons had gone “AWWWWW” so maybe it’ll be ok.
  12.
  13. You absentmindedly continued work, thinking about how you had managed to explain this to the club, to school, to your own parents. They had been strangely supportive. Though they also took in a huge amount of government propaganda, they probably meant that in a good way when they had said that increasing the breeding population of the country was a good thing.
  14.
  15. You felt as if you lived in some weird fusion of the US and Japan, and weren’t sure in which you lived, which was strange, but you had customers to worry about, so eh. Monika had insisted that you both move into a larger apartment, which you had just barely been able to afford. The promotion to Manager had probably saved your life, even with the convenient tax break you had gotten from a child, you could barely make ends meet.
  16.
  17. Monika never once worried about money. If you didn’t know any better, you would swear she was engaged in insider trading with stocks and bonds and was actually a billionaire. Would explain how she could afford shopping even when you worked 12 hour shifts to bring home the bacon you made her eat. She was only a vegetarian when you weren’t cooking the steaks you got on payday. She could eat 20 of them, if you could afford that many. Hungry girl, eating for two. Or more, docs weren’t sure yet.
  18.
  19. Break time! “Hey Monika?” She paused, a small leaf stuck to her face. “What if it is twins? I know that you are only a month in, but what if we have twins?” You pulled the leaf from her face, and ate it, making her blush like the tomatoes still on her fork. “Well, I hope I won’t die in childbirth, and we don’t have to send them to distant planets to hide them from you. Would make a good game of hide and seek though~” She was always sneaking in not very obscure pop culture references.
  20.
  21. She was a bit of a normie girl. She hadn’t even seen the absolute kino, Gayniggers From Outer Space. Now that was a space opera you could ironically love.
  22.
  23. “Haha, I hope so. If you are going to stay here, I think you would really make this a family restaurant. I think you should stay at home and do things that are less exerting. Maybe watch some nature documentaries. You still haven’t read The Idiot.” You suggested. “Dostoyevsky is so BORING though!” She whined. This was the life, your only disagreements with your wife being cute things like who showered first. It was boring but peaceful. Monika was rather ambitious, and often caused you a great deal of stress with her antics, but everything came up roses in the end.
  24.
  25. “Ahaha, you are too sweet.” She said. “What do you mean?” you asked. “Well, how we got married! We eloped, we signed at the courthouse, and you sent a courier with the certificate to a remote mountain that we were staying at for a bit of a honeymoon. I keep thinking about it.”
  26.
  27. “Well, I knew you wanted a big wedding, but that we also had no real friends or family. Your parents are unpersons or something, and mine only send me coded messages I have to decipher with an honest to god Enigma Machine. Maybe the school might have turned out, but… It would have been embarrassing, considering how we started this little guy on our first date.”
  28.
  29. “Well! I uhh admired you from afar! And stuff. It was the next logical step in a chain for me, sorry you were too much of a blockhead to see it!” Monika puffed. “Anyway, our baby was made in good and righteous love, and that’s all that matters.” You patted her head, making her blush some more. “If you are a good girl, I will buy you some more Sho-ka-kola this month. You are really too good for me. Just don’t bother the other patrons while I am working, ok?” Monika nodded, and you went back to work for your budding family.
  30.
  31. Over the coming months, Monika’s warm smile made your chick fil a the most desirable of all, and people came from over the county to visit yours, increasing your profits and your paycheck. It didn’t matter, since Monika had a nearly endless supply of cash as you later discovered, but she thought that you working so hard for her was endearing. You were good at it, so you kept at it.
  32.
  33. Every single day, you saw your wife come in and make everyone else smile. You smiled the biggest of all, knowing that she was just yours.
  34.
  35. Just Monika.
  36.
  37. The End, again.
