The Call of the Hunt

The Thrill of the hunt, there are few things that can bring the same level of adrenaline and excitement as such. The mysterious man in red armor, known to few as Zuko, has been scouting the location of the Resort, seeing potential, and after consideration from the guild, has deemed the area suitable to serve as an outpost for future guild endeavours. A recruitment process has been established by the Hunter, to serve as both celebration, as well as pulling in potential new recruits from the island resort itself. As such, the Hunter has issued a challenge, posted upon the new bulletin board near the X-Room. It reads as follows:

"To residents and passersby of the VGR, I, Zuko Hiyama, S-Rank Hunter of the Guild, have observed this location for some time. I have taken consideration of its location, wild-life, and those who frequent this place, and after consulting back to our headquarters, I am happy to say that this place will serve as a new Guild outpost! As such, I will be responsible for issuing out quests as the temporary Guild-Master and ensuring no unlawful hunting of the species of monsters, both domestic and invasive, is conducted unless in cases of emergencies. Thus, I have need to fill rank! Surely, there are those of my world who have entered this place, and have want to partake in the celebration, as such, this serves as a call-out to them, as well as to any who wish to test their mettle. This X-Room will be commandeered during this time, to train new recruits, refresh veterans, and show those unfamiliar with our lands just how Hunters of the Guild operate. Should you be interested in partaking in the festivities, from my world or otherwise, feel free to send word to me, and let the Hunt commence!"

Below that sheet hangs another, stating the rules of this event:

For those interested in participating as a Hunter:
-If from the world of Monster Hunter, you need not more than simply have a profile that follows the rules of VGR.
-If not from the world of Monster Hunter, you must be ok with the following:
	-Any powers your characters, as well as the power of any weapons they possess, will be stripped during their venture into the X-Room during the Hunt. They must rely on their strength and cunning, just as Hunters do.
	-Weapons not canon to the MH world are allowed, however, they will not possess the same powers of the game-verse your character might reside in. Save for any elemental power, they will be simply a blade for this event.
	-Any concerns or questions involving this can be PM or Mailed to Monster Hunter. This event is open to all interested.

For those interested in participating as a Monster:
-If from the world of Monster Hunter, same applies, so long as the rules of VGR allow you to post, it will work.
-If not from the world of Monster Hunter, Please PM or Mail Monster Hunter to coordinate and discuss involvement.

Monster Hunter will, in the event that there are no other plays present to play the role of the monster, write for the monster of that particular hunt. If there are some who might be interested in playing a larger role in this event, coordinate with Monster Hunter, and see what roles can be filled. As for his schedule, while Wednesdays and Thursdays are his days off, he will be available most days from 12pmish up until 8:30ish (CST.), and should any be interested in leading hunts while he is not around is encouraged to do so.

Hunts will consist of up to four hunters, who will work together to defeat one-two monsters. While T1 will more than likely serve as the means of which combat is partaken, as most are familiar with it, there will a hidden die element to keep things interesting, using RPC's d20. Those interested in participating in the first hunt to test out potential ideas, or which to add any comments/critiques/suggestions would be sent to MH, and appreciated.
