— Sage is said to resemble a “shy/timid puppy” because he gets shy around cameras but is very playful in the dorms.
— He was diagnosed with anxiety at the age of twelve.
— Sage writes a lot of his own songs and lyrics, as well as choreographing dances to random songs.
— When he told his parents that he really wanted to be an idol at 13, his family moved from Shanghai, China to Seoul, South Korea to better his opportunities. He later got into Yuehua Entertainment.
— When he was younger he was younger he attended an international school, so he is fluent in both Mandarin and English. He is proficient in Korean but isn’t confident in it.
— His biggest inspirations are Lay (Zhang Yixing of Exo) and Ten (Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul of NCT/WayV).
