<Charlotte> "Thank you."
<Charlotte> "But really, this is the sort of thing where your power can't really help..."

<Viktor> <No, I meant I was reading his thoughts. Just to see if he really thought that he had a case. Turns out he doesn't. At all.>
<Viktor> <The invisible thing was to make sure the crazy priest didn't try to kill us.>
<Charlotte> "...Oh. That ain't what I was upset about. ...An' that was a pretty good idea, come to think of it."

<Charlotte> "Well. Maybe. It was more...'Viktor don't trust me enough to attend to my own affairs so he has to follow me around'.
<Charlotte> "Somethin' like that."
<Viktor> <Oh. Well I couldn't read that broad's mind so I wasn't any use there really.>
<Viktor> <Anyway... I do trust you. I rely on you.>
<Viktor> <In fact, there's something in the future I'll really need your help with.>
<Charlotte> "Oh?"
<Viktor> <Remember how Xatu pulled me away?>
<Charlotte> "I'm afraid I ain't sure...I wasn't payin' attention."
<Viktor> <Well, he did me a pretty big favor.>
<Viktor> <He gave me some kind of Indian Potion...>

 Viktor grins. <I'm glad I can count on you, Charlotte.>

<Charlotte> "An' the others, I'm sure. Have you spoken with 'em?"
<Viktor> <Not yet.>
<Charlotte> "Want me to be there when you do?"

<Viktor> <Also, you're probably curious about the other thing I did today, right?>
<Charlotte> "A bit."
<Viktor> <Well...>
<Viktor> <Basically, a lot of these powers... I haven't really had all my life.>
<Viktor> <I sort of just started knowing how to do them... when I found my ancestor's study and opened the box that contained Pandora.>
<Charlotte> "I ain't sure how it works, myself."
<Viktor> <Some of these abilities I knew how to use right away. Others I learned from that book I gave away to that Indian Shaman Lady.>
<Viktor> <Basically... I remembered reading something about a technique to make your body like shadow and move through objects freely... and I tried it out and it worked.>
<Charlotte> "Sounds like it'd be painful."
<Viktor> <Eh, only a little.>
<Charlotte> "...Be careful with that sort of thing, all right?"
<Viktor> <I will. It could be dangerous if I overexert myself with it.>
<Viktor> <I can take others with me too though. It's interesting.>
<Viktor> <At first I wasn't sure if I could, but Hilda and Hilbert came through just fine.>
<Charlotte> "That's good. In case we need to get away quickly, right?"
<Viktor> <Right! So long as you're willing to trust me with it.>
