it was at the church the St John the Divine Anglican Church
which is now an Ethiopian church

they had a big haul behind the church that people used to do you know potluck and whatnot
and it wasn't being used during the week so she got this idea
she had heard about it being done in other places and thought it should be done in her community

she went through the boyfriends though every year she'd get tired of them and get another one they were all pretty cool too she stayed Friends with a bunch of them too
When my mom grew up she didn't think she was very good looking because she had a big nose, a Roman nose
When she was about 35 or so she got it done, she said it was to help her breathing and well we all believed her but it also really changed her looks
she ended up with a pretty classic pretty face with character too
she had a little bit crooked teeth but she was a babe right up until the day she died
