  1. Medieval world with influence of four supernatural forces;
  2. Steel, the innate and semi-supernatural power in a sharp blade, a thick shield, and a strong will
  3. Neon, glowing anachronistic tech that imitates modern-to-futuristic devices like guns and boomboxes and shit
  4. Magic, the working of the arcane energies of the universe to the will of a wizard
  5. Qi, manipulation of inner bodily energies (for to punch through walls and throw hadoukens)
  6.
  7.
  8. BowlWorld
  9. Whole known world is shaped like a bowl with great plateauing steps in it. Each level is restricted by character level, and only someone of the appropriate level can hope to ascend such a cliff. The rim of the bowl is the steepest of these cliffs, and no mortal knows what lies beyond.
  10.
  11. A tidally locked planet (one side is in perpetual night, the other in perpetual day)
  12.
  13. World with four opposing/co-existing types of magic/magician
  14. Word-magic – Power is inherent in words, and meaning gives shape. With enough magical potential, simply speaking is enough for a wordcaster to do magic. However, the words must be the right words; even the language can affect the outcome of the spell.
  15. Physical magic – Magic created by the specific preparation of reagents. Its users are called warlocks or witches. They largely deal in potions, powders, and one-use devices, though many compliment their magic with sleight of hand and deception, and a decent knowledge of psychology.
  16. Pure magic – Magic pulled straight from the universe and channelled through the user, known as a sorcerer. Its use takes its toll on the user, draining their stamina, and in extreme cases causing bleeding and death.
  17. Bargain magic – Magic born of a deal with a higher being. This magic requires the least magical talent, and perhaps has the most potential for power, but there is always a price, and whether it seems it or not, it is rarely worth it.
  18.
  19. World where all supernatural beings are a different flavour of vampire, including;
  20. Vampires who control their blood and make blood swords and shit
  21. Bestial nosferatu motherfuckers
  22. Lupine vampires (turnin' into wolves motherfucker)
  23. As above with bats and smoke
  24. Daywalkers with diamond skin, in exchange for fucking mental bloodlust
  25.
  26. Relatively low fantasy with all kinds of political intrigue and noble houses and crap. Rock the low fantasy vibe by having players roll for their nobility and magical potential (weighted in favour of commoner/mundane).
  27. Nobility: Lowborn 40% Minor Nobility (Marquis, Lord, etc.) 30% Medium Nobility (Duke, Count, etc.) 20% Major Nobility 10%
  28. Magic Potential: Mundane 60% Supernatural 30% Magic 10%
  29.
  30. Everything and everyone is magic. Baker? Baking magic. Swordsman? Sword magic. King? Monarch magic. Wizard? DOUBLE MAGIC YO.
  31.
  32. Burning Lands - Firefly with gypsy robots and diminutive mexican insect aliens.
  33.
  34. Insect Rangers - Global Ranger Defense Force assembles Insect Team to combat the machinations of Commander Hawke (Or whatever he was called) and his nefarious lieutenants.
  35.
  36.
  37. Standard fantasy races each with a twist
  38. -Elves have a cultural aversion to both death by old age and direct suicide, so are naturally brave to the point of self-destruction.
  39. -Dwarves have a huge sprawling empire, but it is very laid-back. Individualism and freedom of expression are prized to the point that soldiers are allowed to customise their armour.
  40. -Halflings got tired of being pushed around and invested all their greatest minds into military innovation. Their soldiers wear battle armour with the size and strength of orcs, and they have no end of experimental weapons to test.
  41. -Orcs had the halflings turn shit around on them a long time ago, and were forced to band together out of their tribal culture under a single banner. While they appreciate their tribal heritage, they now have a much more unified society and tend to follow the same relatively peaceful religions and philosophies.
