- Well this was a big mistake.
- Like many people, this temporary crash has kept me up at night. Unfortunately I made a rash decision yesterday to move my TRX (81 thousand of it) from Binance to a Ledger Nano S for long term HODL late at night.
- Well, unfortunately I had just been checking out the Tron Foundation wallet on Etherscan (0xa18ff761a52ce1cb71ab9a19bf4e4b707b388b83), and my usual method or double checking wallet addresses slipped me by. Somehow I copied that address rather than my own.
- This resulted in transaction: 0xd430a03f07a4addd20340d827da7dd1a6a3027c2c0e72ee899edec0e9767619a
- For 81k of my TRX into the cold storage of the Tron Foundation. Suffice to say this was absolutely devastating to see.
- Please take this as a reminder to tripple check addresses EVERY time. This market moves at a rapid pace, and it's easy to forget the most basic of security procedures.
- Although it's probably now lost forever, at least it has gone to a great project Tron, rather than being stolen.
