Entry 4: Satyrs

Bio:
Satyr are an odd race. They seem to resemble half man half goat, though they walk on two legs, they also seem to be a slight bit less intelligent and more bestial than other species. Their settlements are proper villages, with shelter and a strict social structure. The males are hunter-gatherers, while the females tend to the children and keep to their settlements.

Satyr males are larger than the average adult human male, with thicker muscle mass, large horns, a goat's tail, and the lower legs of a goat. For the most part, they resemble humans, albeit with fur. Their behavior is almost universally aggressive and crude, though they are fiercely protective of their own families and family groups. Typically, the strongest and boldest Alpha-Male leads the settlement.

Satyr Females are slightly larger than the average human female, with very little fur on their bodies beyond their goat tails and legs. They have little muscle mass when compared to Satyr males. In the social hierarchy, Satyr Women are considered a lower class than males, and will often be married off when they are young. A satyr male, depending on his status in the group may have only one wife, a few of the stronger ones have multiple wives. The females are considered to be entirely dependent on their husband.

It seems that on the whole, Satyr males are selfish creatures who care for their family's safety, but only serve themselves otherwise. In addition, it seems they are boorish lovers, only caring for their own enjoyment during sex. As a result, the females sexual needs are almost always ignored. Combined with their naturally heightened lust, this causes them to be incredibly unsatisfied.

In human cities with nearby Satyr settlements, it isn't uncommon for girls to wander out in search of a brash, strong Satyr to lay with, or for frisky lads to steal off into a Satyr's settlement while the men are away hunting to take their wives. It seems both Satyr males and females enjoy human company greatly, and seem to prefer human partners to partners of their own race for casual encounters.
