  1. As the witching hour drew near, the Bennett witch stirred ferociously in her sleep. Flashes of images popped into her head, images of people she had never seen or met before. There was endless fighting and what looked to be some kind of war going to break out. These images were predictions of what was to come, much like the first time she was coming into her powers. This time, she couldn’t tell if the events had already happened or not. Just as the last gunshot had gone off it snapped Bonnie out of her sleep; sweat pouring down her face. Her breathing was rapid as she felt the beating of her heart pounding against her chest. It was still the middle of the night, yet this dream, whatever it maybe had kept her awake.

  3. Tea, I need some tea to help calm my nerves. The brunette had said to herself before dragging her butt out of bed and out to the kitchen. One of the few things she had picked up from her Grams. If the spirits are restless, they’ll try to talk to you through your dreams. To calm oneself, a nice cup of chamomile tea will do the trick. A faint smile painted on her features, the mere thought making the brunette miss her Grams more and more.

  5. The tea had helped, probably a little too much. By the time Bonnie had gotten back to her room, she could feel the effects of the tea kicking in. As lids grew heavy a soft sigh would leave her lips before finally being able to drift off to sleep.

  7. Hours passed and the crack of dawn was peering over the horizon. The warm rays of sunlight peeking through what cracks of shade and blinds were around. There was one particular crack that hit Bonnie’s face just in the right spot. Her nose scrunched up, lids slowly peeling themselves opened before finally sitting up in bed. Drowsy and groggy, the Bennett witch slipped out of bed once more; only this time to make herself a very important elixir: coffee. The thought made her smile, covering her mouth as she yawned, feet dragging themselves into the kitchen. After stumbling around some, Bonnie finally found what she needed to get that elixir going.

  9. A couple of cups and half a bagel later, Bonnie found the morning paper and started sifting through the pages. Nothing exciting was going on, nothing exciting ever went on in this town. And that was something Bonnie adored about this town. It was quiet and most of all, vampire free. The house Bonnie was staying in belong to one of her relatives. It was one of those stay-cation type of homes, a place they knew they could come to if they needed it. Thankfully they didn’t need it for a while, so Bonnie asked if she could use it for a while. They agreed, so long as she watered the plants and kept things tidy. Which of course wasn’t a problem for Bonnie in the least. This place was just what she needed.

  11. No one knew she was here and only a few select people had her contact information. She wasn’t about to give up her relatives home and ruin the privacy. The witch had one of those ancient flip phones, the type that were hard to track any sort of GPS with. There were only a few numbers in the phone for emergency purposes only. Thankfully none of those numbers have come up in the time she was away from Mystic Falls. And just like that, she totally jinxed herself.
  12.
  13. The phone let off a few annoying little beeps, indicating she had unread messages. When she opened the phone, the number was unknown. Unfortunately the messages had made no sense to her. Whomever it was, they were talking about an attack; almost war-like. You need to come back to Mystic Falls, now. Read the last message. With no number attached to the messages, there was no way for Bonnie to call and get more details. She simply closed the phone and pushed it away from her.
  14.
  15. Go back to Mystic Falls? Last she knew, there was nothing out there for her, not anymore. Going back there not only would open a can of worms, but she had no idea what she would be getting herself into. Bonnie had a very bad feeling about this, yet she felt like this was somehow related to the dream she had. Maybe she was destined to go back, to help, to fight… again. “So much for living in peace, guess it was too good to be true.” And just like that, Bonnie cleaned up the mess she made and went to get herself ready… to go back to where it all began.
  16.
  17. Many hours and a very long ass car ride later…
  18.
  19. Welcome to Mystic Falls, read the sign as Bonnie drove by it; welcoming her back home. So far nothing looked different, everything remained the same. Little did she know things were very different, she just had to look harder.
  20.
  21. The witch had no idea where to go first, last she knew everyone had gone their separate ways. Lost in thought while she drove, somehow she ended up near the center of town. From there it wasn’t a far walk to the Mystic Grille, a place her and her friends always hung out at. After a while, Bonnie knew everything that happened wasn’t by coincidence. Being a witch in a world full of vampires and sirens, nothing ever happened just because of a coincidence.
  22.
  23. With the car put in park, Bonnie got out and locked it up. She looked around and everything seemed a little too quiet. It always was right up until something big or dramatic was going to enter the scene. No sooner had she finished that thought, there was a loud ruckus coming from over by the Grille. “This is going to be a really bad idea…” The brunette said to herself just before she began her short journey over to where the noise was originating from.
