	What some anon in the thread posted
create an autoexec.cfg file in /config folder(make a notepad file and change the file extension to cfg)
open it in notepad and add "cv_max_players 16"
throw https://ufile.io/lnai5 in /managed, don't forget to rename it to Assembly-CSharp.dll

AND LASTLY IF YOU ARE THE HOST
in game multiplayer > start private game > copy lobby id

It's what I did and it worked on my machine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
note that my lobby didn't spawn a teleporter on the second level probably due to so many chests or something
also had to remake the lobby after we all died because we couldn't ready up
