Despite its subpar bulk and offensive stats, it has access to reliable recovery and Transform which allows it to copy opponents stats and revenge late game if necessary. In addition, with the auto-Imprison in effect, it can force opponents to struggle for 4 turns which can be key in temporarily locking down metagame threats and potentially forcing switches.
