  1. "I know what you bastards did to him."
  2.
  3. His words did nothing to halt the monstrosities from restraining the man, who in vain struggled against their robotic might. His arms were bent backwards as the blue rabbit animatronic jumped down on the ground with both of his hands pinned between it's "armpits"; grinning in the process.
  4.
  5. Bone poked out as his arms were now bent like a grasshopper's legs, hanging uselessly over the gift box's ledges. Because of the tears blurring his vision, Nick could only see the vague outline of a yellow, looming figure walking out of the darkness of the shadows towards him. He tried to move his head to get a better look, only to feel the resistance of a robotic death grip. His head dropped back, to the metallic gift box's hard surface with a deafening, echoing crack. Nick felt the slam reverberate through his skull, like a hammer to porcelain.
  6.
  7. Nicholas felt hard, plastic fingers probe and prod their way across his head, eventually setting in his cheeks, hard enough to be dangerously close to rupturing the flesh. The thumbs were on his temple, forcing him to stare upwards at the ceiling. It was pitch-black, with but one light swinging on a cable from the black sky. The bulb was the color of the moon, bright enough to irritate Nick's eyes somewhat. The light cast a circle of visibility over the gift box on which Nick was splayed upon. Staring up at the light, Nick's eyes began to water.
  8.
  9. "Please, I only came here to get my son."
  10.
  11.
  12. He stared up at the light, as if waiting for it to answer.
  13.
  14. Nothing.
  15.
  16. "TELL ME WHERE MY SON IS, GODDAMMIT!"
  17.
  18. In frustration, Nick tried to kick the side of the gift box, only to hit plastic. He felt a lifting sensation in his legs, as they were raised up.
  19.
  20. And up.
  21.
  22. And up.
  23.
  24. He felt his knees cave inward as the yellow figure loomed over him, it's face now like a yellow skull, the empty sockets looking down at him like a child in a sandbox. The color clashed against the whiteness of the swinging light.
  25.
  26. It applied it's weight further onto his knees, until Nick's legs were completely shattered, and he felt them fall uselessly with a thump against the box.
  27.
  28. Nick initially thought the light's expansion was merely a result of his mind going into shock. It was now spherical, like a moon.
  29.
  30. And then he saw it.
  31.
  32. The man on the moon.
  33.
  34. The whiteness, the glistening, otherworldly shine to the moon was unsettling, yes. It's benevolent, abstract grin was indeed disquieting. But what got him was the mouth and it's eyes.
  35.
  36. Red particles drifted out from the eyes of the moon-man like smoke from a chimney.
  37.
  38. Mutely, it's former grin had turned upside down, into a frown. Red vessels flowed through the creature's face, now visibly something neither man nor machine could count among their ranks.
  39.
  40. An abomination. It's face was a ghastly visage of what was once watching from above, and now mutilated beyond recognition.
  41.
  42. The creature descended upon him, and it bore deep inside of him.
  43.
  44.
  45. While it bore down, Nick heard a voice in his head that didn't belong to him.
  46. "He did it. We didn't."
  47.
  48. Nick came to again on the gift box.
  49.
  50. No longer restrained, he looked on his left, and standing there was Christopher.
  51.
  52. Shaking, he sat up on the table, and stood up.
  53.
  54. The blackness of the restaurant before had been replaced by a red mist. Nick could smell an unpleasant coppery scent wafting in the room.
  55.
  56. Chris held a red balloon in his hand.
  57.
  58. Chris began to cry.
  59.
  60. Nick was about to kneel down to hug him when he noticed another figure next to him, about his son's height. A little, grinning man in a hat.
  61.
  62. It too, held a red balloon in his hand.
  63.
  64. The moon-man stood behind Chris, his "hands" on his shoulder.
  65.
  66. Nick looked up at it, and the man nodded.
  67.
  68. Nick began to feel his knees crumbling again. His tongue felt a hole on each side of his cheeks.
  69.
  70. Nick bent down, and took off the little man's mask. His son's corpse was on the inside.
  71.
  72. Nick took one last glance at Chris, before pulling out the skull.
  73.
  74. Nick went inside the suit.
