The logs that replaced ole mis at BUD/S are now (as of 2010, at least) two normal sized logs- sawn into 7 pieces each, and linked together with chains. When a boatcrew gets on that log, each man carries his own section.
Their names are Polygraph, and Lie Detector. Very fitting, as they show who is who in the crew.
