  8.
  9. An aggressive melee support who thrives on chaotic fights and being in the thick of it, Ravenous Blob offers unique powers that involve transforming objects into different phases of matter.
  10.
  11. # Overview
  12.
  13. Q: Absorption
  14. While toggled on, slowly drains mana per second but gain a large amount of health and mana whenever a nearby enemy or ally casts a spell. Each time a spell is absorbed, also gain stacking bonus damage for the next attack.
  15.
  16. W: Condensate
  17. Creates a large square area of solid matter that blocks all units except yourself for a short time. Enemies who attempt to move into the area or are under it when cast get stuck to it, rooting them and dealing damage per second while they're stuck.
  18.
  19. E: Dissolution
  20. Briefly causes the target ally to have no collision, causing enemy projectiles to pass through them harmlessly and allowing them to phase through structures, trees and units. Targeted allies deal damage to and stun enemy units constantly while passing through them.
  21.
  22. R: Unstable Reaction
  23. Transforms into an unstable ball of matter that shoots out glops of goo at an accelerating rate, dealing an increasing amount of damage the longer the reaction lasts. While the reaction is active your mana drains at an increasing rate per second, but you gain access to improved versions of your spells that have no cooldown.
  24.
  25. Q': Sublimate
  26. Roll forward as a slow-moving ball that drains health from nearby enemies, converting half of it into mana and gaining the other half as healing. Also provides the effects of Absorption while toggled on.
  27.
  28. W': Deposition
  29. Shoots out a controllable oozeling that can attack enemies or harden to create a miniature condensate that stuns enemies. The oozeling may be targeted by your other spells and restores a portion of its health to you when it dies.
  30.
  31. E': Vaporize
  32. Briefly phases a target unit into gas, making allies untargetable in addition to the effects of Dissolution. When cast on enemies, they turn into harmless gas and are prevented from moving but are able to reassemble after taking a certain amount of damage.
  33.
  34. Shard: Unstable Reaction
  35. Unstable Reaction restores 50% of your max mana when you last hit an enemy hero while transformed, or 10% for a unit last hit or hero assist. When this effect triggers you create a Deposition oozeling at the target's location upon killing an enemy hero, with a 20% chance when killing a creep.
  36.
  37. Scepter: Unstable Reaction
  38. Allows access to two new abilities while Unstable Reaction is active, D: Solidify and F: Liquefy.
  39.
  40. D: Solidify
  41. Turn yourself into a massive Condensate and physically protect an ally by encasing them in yourself, making you both unable to move but combining your health pool, mana pool, and other attributes while active.
  42.
  43. F: Liquefy
  44. Transform into a stream of liquid that travels at high speed to the target point, silencing enemies who are caught in the flow.
  45.
  46. # Lore
  47.
  48. A giant, all-consuming blob of ooze that escaped from the lab of Boush's longtime nemesis, the mad primate-scientist Mondark. Unable to stop his own creation, he would reluctantly turn to Boush for help only for the pair to confirm that the ooze is indestructable by normal physical means. The only way to slow the omnivorous beast was to atomize it via an uncontrollable chain reaction, and yet even vaporized and spread as a thin layer across the whole world the glops would eventually congeal again. While not exactly as 'intelligent' a being as its creator originally hoped, the blob is no doubt sentient and, in light of its nagging indestructability, the two geniuses decided to tame the raging goo by offering it purpose in exchange for swearing they would stop researching ways to neutralize it.

  75. # Abilities
  76.
  77. Q: ABSORPTION no target, toggle, physical (talent: magical)
  78. While toggled on, slowly drains mana per second but gain a large amount of health and mana whenever a nearby enemy or ally casts a spell. Each time a spell is absorbed, also gain stacking bonus damage for the next attack.
  79. Mana Cost per Second: 5/8/11/14
  80. Trigger Radius: 1200
  81. Health per Spell Cast: 50/80/110/140
  82. Mana per Spell Cast: 50/80/110/140
  83. Bonus Attack Damage per Stack: 40/50/60/70
  84. Heal to Ally on Proc: 0 (talent: 50)
  85. Damage to Enemy on Proc: 0 (talent: 50)
  86. <cd> 2s
  87. * Has a 2 second cooldown between toggles, but no limit to how fast charges can be gained.
  88. * Maximum 8 charges can be stored, and does not gain stacks from your own spell casts.
  89. * Absorption stacks are shared by and can be used in both normal and Unstable Reaction forms.
  90. * The bonus damage when attacking enemies to consume stacks is physical, however the damage from the level 20 +50 Damage/Heal on Absorption Proc talent is magical.
  91.
  92. W: CONDENSATE target point, magical
  93. Creates a large square area of solid matter that blocks all units except yourself for a short time. Enemies who attempt to move into the area or are under it when cast get stuck to it, rooting them and dealing damage per second while they're stuck.
  94. [BKB] Spell immune enemies can move freely through the condensate
  95. Condensate Area: 300x300 (talent: 500x500)
  96. Condensate Duration: 2/3/4/5s (talent: 4/5/6/7s)
  97. Condensate Health: 250/400/550/700
  98. Damage per Second: 45/50/55/60
  99. <cd> 18/16/14/12s <mana> 130/140/150/160
  100. * Enemies can attack the condensate but it is immune to spell damage. The condensate provides no vision, cannot move, and has no armor.
  101. * Enemies can reroute around the goo by issuing a new move order, but if they were previously commanded to move into the condensate area will not automatically update their move order.
  102. * Effects that allow unit phasing allow the traversal of the Condensate, including Phase Boots, for both allies and enemies. Enemies will still be rooted but if they touch the Condensate but they can dispel the root and then Phase out (or use just BKB, etc).
  103. * When an ally is inside the intiial Condensate area they are pushed out of its area over a short duration rather than stuck/rooted.
  104.
  105. E: DISSOLUTION target ally, magical
  106. Briefly causes the target ally to have no collision, causing enemy projectiles to pass through them harmlessly and allowing them to phase through structures, trees and units. Targeted allies deal damage to and stun enemy units constantly while passing through them.
  107. Cast Range: 550
  108. Duration: 2/2.5/3/3.5s (talent: 3/3.5/4/4.5s)
  109. Damage per Second: 50/60/70/80
  110. Bonus Movement Speed: 0 (talent: 15%)
  111. <cd> 14/12/10/8s <mana> 90/110/130/150
  112. * Dissolution remains on yourself when self-cast and then you use Phase Transform.
  113. * Works like the one old version of Clinkz's Strafe that gave projection immunity, and if possible avoided projectiles would appear to fly straight through effected targets and land harmlessly on the ground behind them.
  114.
  115. R: UNSTABLE REACTION ultimate, no target, toggle
  117. Base Max Mana Drained per Second: 8/10/12%
  118. Mana Drain Increase per Second: 2%
  119. Glops per Interval: 2/4/6
  120. Target Radius: 750
  121. Projectile Speed: 1100
  122. Glop Base Interval: 1s
  123. Glop Interval Reduction per Second: 0.03/0.04/0.05 (Minimum Interval: 0.2s)
  124. Glop Base Damage: 100/160/220
  125. Glop Damage Increase per Second: 10/20/30 (Maximum Damage per Glop: 600)
  126. <cd> 40s (talent: 20s)
  127. * Your health and mana reset to full when using Unstable Reaction, and while transformed you are prevented from moving but not attacking. Restores you to your previous health and mana values when the Unstable Reaction ends, including any regen you had during the time you were transformed.
  128. * You take on a different shape based on the last spell cast (spiked ball for Q/Q', cube for W/W'/D, smooth dodecahedron for E/E'/F).
  129. * The cooldown for Unstable Reaction begins after leaving the transformation, and the transformation can only end by either dying or running out of mana.
  130. * Prioritizes enemy heroes when selecting targets, shooting 1 glop each interval at the lowest health enemies in range. Each glop must target a different enemy.
  131. * Always deals glop damage per second to enemies under you without needing to target them with a glop (requiring the use of an item like Phase Boots, casting E on yourself while transformed or pre-casting Dissolution on yourself before transforming).
  132.
  133. Q': SUBLIMATE no target, toggle, magical
  134. Roll forward as a slow-moving ball that drains health from nearby enemies, converting half of it into mana and gaining the other half as healing. Also provides the effects of Absorption while toggled on.
  135. Roll Speed: 200/250/300
  136. Health Absorb Radius: 200/225/250
  137. Unit Max Health Absorbed per Second: 8/10/12%
  138. Health Absorbed Converted to Mana: 50% (10% for creeps)
  139. Health Absorbed Converted to Healing: 50% (10% for creeps)
  140. <mana> 5/8/11/14 + 4% per second
  141. * Sets max speed to 200/250/300 while active, reduces your turn rate, sets your collision radius to a 90 radius sphere and allows phasing through trees and allied units.
  142. * You may take other actions while sublimate is active, including using other abilities, attacking or using items.
  143. * The health drain is not fatal to enemies on its own, leaving them at 1 health.
  144.
  145. W': DEPOSITION target point/target enemy, magical
  146. Shoots out a controllable oozeling that can attack enemies or harden to create a miniature Condensate that stuns enemies. The oozeling may be targeted by your other spells and restores a portion of its health to you when it dies.
  147. Cast Range: 550
  148. Deposition Area: 150x150 (talent: 250x250)
  149. Deposition Duration: 2s (talent: 4s)
  150. Deposition Damage per Second: 60/70/80
  151. Oozeling Health: 400/550/700
  152. Oozeling Damage: 70/110/150
  153. Oozeling Attack Interval: 1s
  154. Oozeling Vision: 200
  155. Oozeling Movement Speed: 315
  156. Oozeling Max Health as Healing On Death: 25%
  157. Oozeling Max Health as Mana On Death: 0 (25%)
  158. <mana> 14%
  159. * Immediately creates a half-size Condensate that stuns instead of just roots when targeted directly on an enemy, or select the oozeling and activate its W ability 'Harden' to create a half-size condensate at the target location (or Alt-W to make one at its current location).
  160.
  161. E': VAPORIZE target unit, magical
  162. Briefly phases a target unit into gas, making allies untargetable in addition to the effects of Dissolution. When cast on enemies, they turn into harmless gas and are prevented from moving but return to their solid form after taking a certain amount of damage.
  163. Cast Range: 550
  164. Ally Duration: 3.5s (talent: 4.5s)
  165. Enemy Duration: 3.5s (talent: 4.5s)
  166. Enemy Damage to Return: 100/150/200
  167. <mana> 24%
  168. * Vaporized enemies are targetable and may not take any actions besides turning in place.
  169.
  170. Shard: UNSTABLE REACTION
  171. Unstable Reaction restores 50% of your max mana when you last hit an enemy hero while transformed, or 10% for a unit last hit or hero assist. When this effect triggers you create a Deposition oozeling at the target's location upon killing an enemy hero, with a 20% chance when killing a creep.
  172.
  173. Scepter: UNSTABLE REACTION
  174. Allows access to two new abilities while Unstable Reaction is active, D: Solidify and F: Liquefy.
  175.
  176. D: SOLIDIFY target ally
  177. Turn yourself into a massive Condensate and physically protect an ally by encasing them in yourself, making you both unable to move but combining your health pool, mana pool, and other attributes while active.
  178. Cast Range: 600/700/800
  179. Travel Speed: 1500
  180. Condensate Area: 400x400 (talent: 600x600)
  181. <mana> 8%
  182. * Both players retain full control of their hero and are effectively placed inside a shared 'cocoon' that combines each of their full heath, mana, damage, armor, and attributes, just without the ability to move. Using Sublimate after casting Solifidy is the only way for the combined blob to move, with items like Blink Dagger or Force Staff being disabled as if you were rooted.
  183. * The only way to separate from the combined blob is for you to cast Solidify on another ally or Liquefy on a target point. When leaving the blob, you will first attempt to restore the combined ally to their previous health and mana values, leaving yourself with 1 health and 1 mana if the deficit cannot be covered, and all negative status effects go on to yourself, applying a strong dispel to the ally to guarantee they will be able to act upon leaving the blob. If there is a surplus of health or mana it is given to the target ally first, then to yourself.
  184.
  185. F: LIQUEFY target point
  186. Transform into a stream of liquid that travels at high speed to the target point, silencing enemies who are caught in the flow.
  187. Cast Range: 600/700/800
  188. Travel Speed: 1500
  189. Silence Duration: 2/3/4s
  190. <mana> 16%

  195.
  196. -----
  197.
  198. # 0.4.0 – April 2023
  199.
  200. * Replaced Phase Transform with a new ultimate, Unstable Reaction, which incorporates the old Sublimate effect but shoots blobs at an increasing rate and damage per second, while consuming an increasing mana cost per second
  201.
  202. * Sublimate (Q') now provides Absorption as baseline and drains mana from nearby enemies, converting it to health and mana for a mana cost per second
  203.
  204. * Switched Deposition to W' <-> Solidify to D, and Vaporize to E' <-> Liquefy to F
  205.
  206. * Solidify reworked to now create a combined blob to protect a target ally, combing your health pool, mana pool and other attributes while preventing either of you from moving (except with Sublimate or Liquefy)
  207.
  208. * Added a level 15 talent causing Deposition to restore 25% of oozeling health as mana
  209.
  210. * Added a new Aghanim's Shard: you restore max mana when killing enemies during Unstable Reaction, create Deposition oozelings on hero kill and have a chance to create oozelings on creep kills
  211.
  212. * Added a level 15 talent for +1s Dissolution Duration (which also effects Vaporize)
  213.
  214. * Increased strength from 23 + 2.3 to 23 + 2.5 and intelligence from 30 + 2.1 to 30 + 2.6
  215.
