Hey nui I wanted to talk about the minigame finals thing. Sorry if this turns out ranty.

The decision making on the minigame month finals was extremely frustrating and disturbing. The issues raised were regs weren’t expecting finals and scheduling, though none of them are real issues. Scheduling wouldn’t be difficult between two regs, but what’s more many of he regs were expecting finals and were confused and annoyed when it was announced there were no finals. One of them even said why bother if there was no chance of winning (many of them wanted the avi).

But what irks me the most is how the decision was handled. It went through without a voted of any kind. Worse still, the people who were against it were players in the previous mgm (me, daz) or extremely active users that know what regs want (birb) . The fact that this happened so fast without any real vote is extremely frustrating

I think this kind of speaks to how disconnected the ros are to the room too. Though I think that RO discretion could matter in some cases (like if there’s some kind of inner ps reason that for some of the reason the other staff can’t know), it’s kind of hard to feel that they know what’s right when they make weird decisions such as this, or when they don’t even make top 20 on top users, or at any time half are on loa. It’s hard for me to bring myself to trust them and their decisions with problems like this.

Why I’m bringing it up to you. Well as this is a complain about the ros, I really don’t feel comfortable telling them directly or in pms. Especially with the what happened to Darth, I don’t feel comfortable starting votes or arguing against them, or bringing it these kinds of things up to them.

Again, sorry for the long rant. I just felt like I had to get this out of my system.
