- Jungmin is extremely protective of his loved ones, especially his family. He'll leave anything or anyone just to take care of his family.
- Despite his soft and cute image, Jungmin can act very cold but this happens rarely, and only in the times where he needs to focus but he's unable to do that because of someone bothering him.
- Jungmin is surprisingly clumsy. Whenever he holds something fragile, people would be very cautious, because they've probably witnessed him forgetting that he's holding the item so he'll do something that will result in him dropping it.
- He's very blunt and shameless. Sometimes he will even often mention some sassy remarks unconsciously, but he will soon feel apologetic after he realizes he had said such a thing.
- Jungmin's good at cooking. He even received some praises for some of his dishes. His specialties are spicy rice cakes and kimchi stew.
- Jungmin consumes a lot of food for a trainee each day, but surprisingly never gains anything. Once, he even commented that he could eat 3 servings of black bean sauce noodles and not gain anything.
- He's one big scaredy cat with heights and roller coasters, and he becomes clingy whenever he's scared. Sure, he can watch and be interested into horror movies, but that's because of the effects of the movie and the thrill he feels. But when you invite him to ride a roller coaster and he agrees, you should prepare your eardrums from his vocal cords.

   ■ BACKGROUND | Jungmin was born in Seoul, South Korea. But after living there for approximately 8-9 years, he and his family moved for a little bit to Ontario, Canada. During his wonderful time spent there, which was about 4 years, Jungmin learned English and dancing. Though he started dancing when he was very young, he was a hundred times more passionate about it than he was before. Since he and his family were new to the whole Canadian culture and how the financial things worked, etc., he promised to be a successful artist who will support his family all the way. Though he was young, Jungmin auditioned for varies of entertainment companies in South Korea until he got accepted into one of them. Jungmin moved back to South Korea with his older sister at the time. During his time as a trainee, his family managed to move back to South Korea and they reunited.
