Until (and If) Microsoft ever chooses to address this, I've found my favourite workaround, github page shared by u/arycama.

Download this then extract it in its own folder:
https://github.com/ledoge/dwm_eotf/releases

Create a "run.bat" file in the same folder, like this:
".\dwm_eotf.exe" 2.2
exit 0

Use Window's task scheduler to create a task to run this bat when you login in Windows. Make sure to specify the folder where the .exe and .bat are located in "Start in". Add delay by 30 second to the start task. Make sure to enable the checkmark for running it with elevated system privileges.
