  1. >You always contemplated the silly things
  2. >It wasn't easy fitting in, nor was it fun to fail
  3. >Did people like you?
  4. >Did you like yourself?
  5. >All these things are small and mellow-dramatic
  6. >It only bothered you now because...You're now the new kid in town
  7. >Getting a new job in Canterlot, your father moved you and your mother
  8. >You dread this
  9. >Being the new face always sucked for you
  10. >Besides, you're gonna miss the few friends you had in your old town
  11. >Your new home isn't so bad
  12. >Bigger room, more yard space
  13. >You hope the school won't be bad
  14. >Your mom and dad do their best to reassure you that this will be for the best
  15. >Hopefully they're right
  16. >After a long day of moving in your things, it's dinner time
  17. >Sitting in your new kitchen, you dine on some spaghetti
  18. >Your father speaks up
  19.
  20. >"Settled in?" he asks you
  21.
  22. "I'm fine, just trying to sink in the fact we moved"
  23.
  24. >"It'll get better, just you wait son"
  25.
  26. "Thanks dad, I'll try to get used to it"
  27.
  28. >"Maybe you'll make some new friends dear" your mother chimes in
  29.
  30. "Heh..yeah, maybe I will" you try to sound cheerful
  31.
  32. >Later, you help your mother with the dishes
  33. >Soon after, you retreat to your room
  34. >At least some things weren't different
  35. >Your new room was the same as your old room
  36. >Every poster position
  37. >Every nick-knack position
  38. >It feels relaxing to sit at your desk
  39. >Opening your laptop, you open a bottle of King-Kar lemon tea
  40. >You peek outside your window
  41. >Nothing but a beautiful view of your new home
  42. >Canterlot
  43. >Maybe this won't be so bad
  44. >You could try to make actual friends here
  45. >If not for yourself, you could do this for your parents
  46. >You sip your drink and browse the internet
  47. >Tomorrow was your first day at a new high school so you don't want to stay up too late
  48. >You mostly browse FaceSpace for the time being to see who lived in this town
  49. >There was a new photo on your FaceSpace wall
  50. >It was of your new home, and taken by your mother
  51. >She tagged you and hash tagged the town
  52. >Looking deeper into it, there's a page for Canterlot
  53. >You forward the image to the Canterlot page
  54. >Sitting back, you drink some more tea
  55.
  56. >*Bling*
  57.
  58. "Hmm?"
  59.
  60. >*Bling*
  61.
  62. >Leaning forward you look at your laptop
  63. >You have two new notifications
  64. >You open it
  65. >Some people liked the image on the page
  66. >Someone commented
  67. >Well now
  68. >These must be some of the people living here
  69. >A girl commented on the image
  70. >Some Pinkie Ponk or something like that
  71.
  72. >"Wow! New people! Like, you should totally hire me to throw you a welcoming party!!!1!1"
  73. read the comment
  74.
  75. >Clicking to reply, you let her know that'd be a swell idea in a joking kind of way
  76. >Less than 30 seconds after replying, you get another
  77.
  78. >*Bling*
  79.
  80. >"OMGOMGOMG! I can totally do it! I'll stop by tomorrow after I leave my school!" Pinkie commented after your reply
  81.
  82. >Welp, this can't be helped
  83. >With that, you closed your laptop and plopped on your bed
  84. >You fall into a blissful sleep
  85. >Tonight felt like no other night
  86. >It was as if a new start was in order
  87. >Something rang in your head as you slept
  88. >Don't be that damned shy kid from before
  89. >Be the guy who your friends would walk up to in school and say good morning
  90. >Be the guy who helps someone in need and is returned the favor
  91. >Be the guy who is loved
  92. >Be the guy who is counted on
  93. >Be that guy who didn't know the feel of no friends
  94. >Be cared for
  95. >Sorry frog, but that spaghetti went in your stomach and not on the floor
  96. >Then...there was peace
  97. >Like nothing before mattered
  98. >All you could see was darkness
  99.
  100. >*Brzzt* *Brzzt*
  101.
  102. "Huh?"
  103.
  104. >You opened an eye
  105. >Your phone's alarm was ringing
  106. >Fumbling a bit, you manage to shut it off
  107. >In an upright position, you sit up on the side of your bed
  108. >You rub your eyes as your door opens
  109.
  110. >"Hey son, ready for a new day?" You father stepped in
  111.
  112. >Those words shocked into your mind
  113. >A new day
  114.
  115. "Y-yeah...Yeah! I'm ready dad!" you say excited
  116.
  117. >"I'm glad son, now hurry and get ready, your mother made breakfast, I gotta head to work, it's a new day for me too"
  118.
  119. "Thanks dad, see you later"
  120.
  121. >You freshen yourself up in your bathroom
  122. >With lots of time to spare, you get dressed
  123. >It wasn't a funeral, so you settled with a normal tee-shirt, hoodie, and jeans
  124. >You grab your bag and head downstairs
  125. >The smell of eggs and bacon filled the kitchen
  126. >Sweet, nothing like a good breakfast for a good morning
  127. >Like a wolf, you scarf down that bacon
  128.
  129. >"Whoa there, it's not gonna run away from you" Your mother chuckled
  130.
  131. "Sorry mom" you say
  132.
  133. >"It's fine, you just have a good day at school today, okay dear?" She says as she pinches your cheek
  134.
  135. "Of course mom, thanks!"
  136.
  137. >You finish breakfast and head outside
  138. >There are only two high schools in town
  139. >You'll start going to the one a few blocks away
  140. >Canterlot High
  141. >Oh geez
  142. >You just remembered that Ponk girl might stop by today
  143. >Hopefully your mother is okay at home while you're at school
  144. >After a couple blocks, you see the school in the distance
  145. >Your stomach is full of anxiety
  146. >You don't know the first thing about making friends, what the hell were you thinking?
  147. >Oh..That's right
  148. >Your parents has done nothing but deal with you for your whole life
  149. >You're a lonely, weirdo
  150. >The few friends you had back at your old town weren't really friends but other losers
  151. >Sad thing is that you drifted from them because they were getting comfortable with others
  152. >You don't want to go home the same loser
  153. >You don't want to disappoint your mom and dad
  154. >If you succeed in this, then you'll actually have friends
  155. >Well, let's just hope tha-
  156.
  157. >"Oof!"
  158.
  159. "Whoa!"
  160.
  161. >You accidentally collided with someone
  162.
  163. >"Oops! I'm so sorry, I should've been more careful"
  164.
  165. >You bumped into a purple girl
  166. >She dropped a stack of books along with her
  167.
  168. "Oh no, It was my fault, I wasn't paying attention" you say
  169.
  170. >Like the gentleman your mother raised you to be, you pick up her books and give out your hand
  171.
  172. >"Thank you.." she says while taking your hand
  173.
  174. >You help her up and return her books
  175. >The both of you dust yourselves off
  176.
  177. "Again, sorry..um?"
  178.
  179. >"Twilight, I am Twilight Sparkle" She replies
  180.
  181. >Here goes nothing
  182. >You extend your hand out again
  183.
  184. "Hi there, I'm new around here"
  185. >Twilight shakes your hand and smiles
  186. >A great weight has been lifted
  187. >That went way better than you expected
  188. >Maybe this purple girl could be your first friend
  189.
  190. >"So you're new around here huh? When you move in?" She asks
  191.
  192. "Just yesterday, I didn't really get a chance to meet anyone since I spent most of the day unpacking"
  193.
  194. >"Well, Canterlot's a great place, friends all around" she informs you
  195.
  196. >Friends all around
  197. >Friends
  198. >Score
  199.
  200. >"Hello? New guy?"
  201.
  202. "Huh"
  203.
  204. >You were spacing out thinking about what she said that you didn't notice she was walking away
  205.
  206. >"I said that if you're going to Canterlot High, you could walk with me and I could show you around"
  207.
  208. >ThankTheKraut.avi
  209.
  210. "Oh, yeah, thanks"
  211.
  212. >The two of you trek forward to the large castle that is Canterlot High
  213. >Students are all shuffling into the little entrance
  214. >Good chunks of them were just hanging out by the large statue out front
  215. >You could already spot some people at the side of the school smoking
  216. >Whatever gets them through the day
  217. >As you walk on, Twilight informs you of the school
  218. >She tells you of its many fine elements that "outweigh" other high schools around the state
  219. >You learn of the sports that they play here
  220. >It sounds amazing that just one girl is captain of like every sports team
  221. >Twilight mostly rambles on about the principle and how she's not like any other you'll meet
  222. >She also mentions the assistant principle is the head principle's sister
  223. >Well then
  224. >You try to sound as convincing that you're not an introvert
  225. >She asks about yourself and your life
  226. >As cool as you can, you tell her that you used to play soccer but suck at it
  227. >She giggled at your honesty
  228. >You let her know right there that you're a geek
  229. >You play video games, know how to work technology, etc.
  230. >After a bit of talking, you change the subject to not bore her
  231.
  232. >"You know, it's fine if you're into those things, you don't have to be ashamed" she tells you
  233.
  234. >That tugged a heart string
  235. >All your life, you've been ashamed of yourself
  236. >It hurts to think about it, but that's why you have the internet
  237. >There you could escape reality
  238. >Twilight sees you lower head
  239.
  240. >"Oh..I'm sorry if I offended you" she apologizes
  241.
  242. "No, no, it's fine, thank you for your kindness, I just feel like I could be more than some nerd"
  243.
  244. >Twilight looked down this time
  245. >She looked like she was gonna kick the gravel
  246.
  247. >"You know, I felt like you too once" she started "I was just some bookworm with no friends other than her big brother"
  248.
  249. >She was opening up to you
  250.
  251. >"I thought that I would never make friends, so long as I was just...some nerd"
  252.
  253. >She took the words right from your mouth
  254. >You were feeling bad, having mentioned it
  255. >Then reassurance came
  256.
  257. >"But now is different, I made friends, and they helped through things, I now understand I'm much more than just a nerd!" Twilight was beaming
  258.
  259. >You felt so much better
  260. >This purple-skinned girl just made your morning
  261.
  262. >"Sorry for talking too much" she apologized
  263.
  264. "It's fine Twilight, thank you for opening up"
  265.
  266. >Twilight was smiling at you now
  267. >This is for you mom
  268.
  269. "Twilight, will you be my friend?"
  270.
  271. >"I accept"
  272.
  273. >Your stomach anxiety grew even larger now that you made your first friend
  274. >Maybe this could be a fun day for you
  275. >The two of you have reached the school
  276. >This is it
  277. >You know that making friends will not be easy
  278. >It hurt just to make friends with Twilight
  279. >But her can-do attitude was making you feel more comfortable
  280. >You both passed through crowds of people at the entrance
  281. >Your stomach was beginning to churn again around all these new people
  282. >Luckily, Twilight was by your side
  283. >Not wanting to look like a lost puppy, you give some space between Twilight and yourself
  284. >A couple glances came your way, but nothing extravagant
  285. >Avoid eye-contact is the best idea right now
  286. >Twilight was keeping quiet among the chatter of students passing through
  287. >You didn't want to pester her if she just didn't feel like exchanging further conversation
  288. >Man, this place is regal as fuck compared to your last high school
  289. >Red curtains around large, thin, glass windows?
  290. >It all seemed as though this place was taken from a kid's show
  291. >Twilight led you to a door which read "Principle's Office"
  292.
  293. >"Okay new guy, This is Principle Celestia's office, she'll give you your schedule and a school guide which comes with a small map of the school" said Twilight
  294.
  295. "A small map? Sure looks like I'm gonna need it"
  296.
  297. >"Don't be nervous, everyone was new at some point" she said as she rubbed your arm warmly
  298.
  299. >You could see how sincere she is being
  300.
  301. "Thanks Twilight, for introducing me here and such"
  302.
  303. >"It's no problem, now hurry before-"
  304.
  305. >*Brrriiiinnnggg*
  306.
  307. >"Oh shoot!" Twilight said in frustration "That's the morning bell, sorry I can't help you further for now, I gotta head to class, see you around!" she said while light jogging to her class
  308.
  309. >The nervousness was returning
  310. >In front of you lie your new fate
  311. >Let's hope you make a good impression
  312. >You open the door slowly but surely
  313. >No idea of what the principle was like
  314. >Twilight's description made her seem as though she were some kind of goddess
  315. >With the door open, you notice a beautiful dame, sitting at her desk, writing things away
  316. >She glances up at you before lifting her head up to look
  317. >At first she had a moment of thought, then she smiled
  318.
  319. >"You must be the new student"
  320.
  321. "Um..Yeah.." you say still unsure of things
  322.
  323. >"You don't have to be afraid young one, I won't bite" she said with a slight giggle "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Principle Celestia"
  324.
  325. >She stood up from her desk
  326. >The first thing to catch your eye is her height
  327. >She is much, much taller than you
  328. >Principle Celestia's height intimidated you a bit
  329. >Your head was up to par with her chest
  330. >It felt weird
  331.
  332. >"Please have a seat" she said as she motioned you to the chair in front of her desk
  333.
  334. >You sit down, with the fear of throwing up
  335. >Principle Celestia made her way next to you, which because of her height and you sitting down, made you feel even more short
  336. >She placed a hand down on your shoulder
  337. >It felt...comfortable
  338.
  339. >"I'd like to personally welcome you to Canterlot High and hope that your time here in this school, is the best one yet"
  340.
  341. "Thank you Principle Celestia" you spoke as you peered up to her beside you
  342.
  343. >Principle Celestia moved to her desk and pulled out a few things from a drawer underneath
  344. >The contents she pulled out was a student planner, a small map of the school (Thanks Twilight) and a student guidelines sheet
  345.
  346. >"Now, please take good care of these things," she started "They're key to helping you get used to things around here, read over them, and apply them" she said with a chipper voice
  347.
  348. "Thank you, Principle"
  349.
  350. >"Also, here is your schedule, you'll be needing it" she handed it to you
  351.
  352. >You skimmed it a bit as she sat back down in her desk
  353. >Six classes, two breaks, one lunch period
  354. >Your first period class was a "Ms. Cheerilee"
  355. >Principle made it very clear that in order to graduate high school, you'd need to make all eight credits for the classes
  356. >There were also set criteria for the school system
  357. >Students would need one Gym credit, 3 Math credits, and 3 Language/Reading credits
  358. >Fair enough
  359.
  360. >"Now, if you ever have any concerns, questions....anything, please just let me know" she began "If anyone however is bullying you, or you find discomfort or know anything that could be a threat to anyone here, let the assistant principle know, her office is next door"
  361.
  362. "Thank you for all the info. Principle Celestia"
  363.
  364. >"It is no problem, now you'd better hurry to first period, you're already late"
  365.
  366. >With that, you get up to leave
  367. >As you begin to open he door, Principle Celestia speaks up
  368.
  369. >"Oh, and one more thing," she starts
  370.
  371. >You look over to her
  372.
  373. >"Good luck out there" she says reassuringly
  374.
  375. >You nod and walk out
  376. >Taking out your schedule, you trek on to your first period class
  377. >Here it is
  378. >So far, so good
  379. >Made a new friend, nothing is wrong with the principle, aside from her unusual height, nothing can get worse right?
  380. >Opening the door, you already feel it
  381. >Fuck
  382. >Fuck, you hate that feeling
  383. >That burning sensation of wandering eyes
  384. >You already know everyone in the class is staring you down
  385. >Why was it this way with schools?
  386. >You slowly step inside
  387. >There was your teacher, Ms. Cheerilee
  388.
  389. >"Oh, hello dear! Come on in, you must be the new student" Ms. Cheerilee presented to the class
  390.
  391. "Uh, yeah, that's me hehe.." you try to say with ease
  392.
  393. >You already can hear the murmuring of students
  394. >Fuuuuuuck
  395. >Just try to tune it out
  396. >Ms. Cheerilee spoke up
  397.
  398. >"Well, I am Ms. Cheerilee, is there anything about yourself you'd like to say to the class?"
  399.
  400. "Um..I'm new" you say trying to avoid being the center of attention
  401.
  402. >"Oh c'mon dear, just something a little more specific" she was prodding
  403.
  404. "Well...I can sort of play soccer, but I'm not that good"
  405.
  406. >What the hell was that?
  407. >Soccer? Really?
  408. >Well, it could've been worse
  409. >You could've spilled spaghetti on the floor
  410. >Ms. Cheerilee stepped up in front of you and faced the class
  411.
  412. >"Okay class, it appears we have a new student! Why don't you all have give a nice warm welcome to our new friend!" said Ms. Cheerilee
  413.
  414. >The class gave out a robotic "Hello, welcome"
  415. >They sounded more bored than the time your internet went out
  416. >At least no one threw you papers or made fun of your appearance
  417. >The feeling of faces looking at you has yet to leave
  418. >Ms. Cheerilee went over to her desk and gestured you to follow
  419. >She pulled out a form from her desk
  420. >It was a syllabus
  421.
  422. >"Okay, you need to fill this out and have your parents sign it, it also has the list of materials you'll be needing for this class" she informed you
  423. >Pretty basic stuff for starting a new class
  424.
  425. >"Well, if there's anything you need, please feel free to come check me, I'll always be here during class time, and breaks, except for lunch"
  426.
  427. "Thank you Ms. Cheerilee"
  428.
  429. >"Oh, and as of today, you'll be sitting on that empty desk at the back next to Apple Jack"
  430. >You look over to the seat she was referring to
  431. >There you see it
  432. >Next to the empty desk was quite the sight
  433. >A beautiful, bodacious might you add, girl sit there
  434. >She was fiddling with her pencil, looking like she was having a hard time
  435. >You take a moment to admire her
  436. >She has golden locks, that are nearly as bright as the sun outside
  437. >You spot a small amount of freckles on those plush, cheeks
  438. >This girl was dressed like a cowgirl
  439. >She was wearing a denim skirt, with a white blouse to match
  440. >Her leathery, brown boots were crossed with each other, indicating she was sort of bored
  441. >If all of this wasn't enough, she was wearing a ranch hat
  442. >That's new
  443. >First a purple skinned, bookworm
  444. >Now a southern girl, dressed from head to toe ready to do the hoedown
  445. >You're already sweating in your hoodie, and the room is air-conditioned right now
  446. >You walk over to your desk
  447. >You could feel a bit of stares, but it died down a little
  448. >Taking a seat, you meekly look over to the doll right next to you
  449. >Her desk was to your left
  450. >Not wanting to seem nosy, you only take a quick peep
  451. >Huh?
  452. >You look a little again
  453. >From where you're sitting, it seems as though she's doodling nothings on her paper
  454. >Stick figures
  455. >Apple Jack takes notice
  456. >She turns her head to you
  457. >Oh shit
  458. >You're in for it now
  459.
  460. >"Well, Howdy there partner!" She speaks lending out a hand
  461.
  462. >Wut
  463. >Oh lord her accent
  464. >It's like hearing a girl who has a lot of air passage through her mouth
  465. >It's fucking beautiful
  466. >You raise your hand to meet hers
  467. >She takes it gradually
  468. >Her grip on your hand is so tender
  469. >You can tell she does a lot of labor
  470. >If anything, the firmness of it makes you jealous
  471.
  472. >"I'm Apple Jack" she announces to you
  473.
  474. "Heh..like the cereal?" you say trying to break the ice
  475.
  476. >"Erm..Sure, so you're the new kid"
  477.
  478. "Mhmm, just moved in yesterday"
  479.
  480. >"Well I sure hope ya'll are havin' a mighty fine time here in Canterlot"
  481.
  482. "I hope so"
  483.
  484. >You get a better view of what she was writing
  485. >There were some questions written down
  486. >The answers didn't really make sense to you
  487. >Explain WWII
  488. >Her answer was "So there were some folk who messed up bad, and they got angry, so they put down that Firtle Land guy, and everyone got mad?"
  489. >The second question was How do you feel about The Great Depression
  490. >Her answer was "I get all depressed a lot of times, I try to pick myself back up though, sorry if this isn't the right answer you were looking for miss, I'm not too bright when it comes to these things"
  491. >Sadpuppy.exe
  492. >Your heart just sank
  493. >Now you just feel really bad
  494. >AppleJack sees this
  495. >Suddenly, you shoot your eyes back up to her
  496. >She knows
  497. >You know
  498. >She knows you know
  499.
  500. >"Uh..heh, guess you saw that huh?" AppleJack says
  501.
  502. "Y-yeah..sorry for looking" you apologize
  503.
  504. >"It's fine, ah know I'm not the best when it comes to these ol' books, but at least I know it's good enough to get a passing grade"
  505.
  506. >As messed up as it sounds, you're surprised she's passing
  507. >If her answers are like that on everything else, how the hell is she passing?
  508. >Ms. Cheerilee speaks up
  509.
  510. >"Okay class, turn in your worksheets, finished or not," she looks at you "And of course you'll be excused for the day"
  511.
  512. >Sweet
  513. >Everyone, including AppleJack get up to turn in their work
  514. >You take notice that AppleJack looks a little more concerned
  515. >When she turns her work in, she gives Ms. Cheerilee an "Ahm Sorry" look
  516. >Ms. Cheerilee just gives her a smile
  517. >AppleJack returns to her desk
  518. >Well sheeeit
  519.
  520. >"Ah've got a pretty good feeling 'bout this one" she says confidently
  521.
  522. "No doubt in my mind..hehe"
  523.
  524. >Soon, you're prompted with the rest of the class to copy down notes
  525. >As some time passes by, you look at your watch
  526. >Based on your schedule, there should only be a few minutes left for class
  527. >Miss Cheerilee starts writing down things on the chalk board
  528.
  529. >"Okay class," she speaks "As of today, you will partner up with one other person, and together, complete this class project"
  530.
  531. >Damn
  532. >No one's gonna want to partner up with you
  533. >You already see people exchange greetings and partnering up
  534. >It seems now would be a good time to lay down your head
  535. >Sorry mom, one friend seems like enough for today
  536. >Someone taps on your shoulder
  537. >Looking up reveals it to be AppleJack
  538.
  539. >"Hey, wanna be partners?" she asks you
  540.
  541. >Huh?
  542. >Why was she asking you?
  543.
  544. "Um..Wouldn't you prefer to be with some of your friends?" you ask
  545.
  546. >"Oh c'mon new guy, ah won't bite ya, you need a partner if you're gonna pass this"
  547.
  548. >She has a point
  549.
  550. "Well..okay then, let's be partners"
  551.
  552. >"Now that's more like it!"
  553.
  554. >Just as son as those words left AppleJack's mouth, the bell rung
  555.
  556. >*BRRIIIINGGG*
  557.
  558. >"Okay class, tomorrow I'll give you the project information for you and your partners" said Miss Cheerilee
  559.
  560. >You pack up your things and get ready to leave
  561. >Ms. Cheerilee stops you as the other students leave class
  562. >She gives you a grin that looks forced
  563.
  564. "Uhh...is everything okay miss?"
  565.
  566. >"Everything is just fine," she cleared her throat "ahem, now I don't want to pressure you since it's your first day, but I couldn't help but notice that you're partnered up with AppleJack"
  567.
  568. "Uh-huh, so what's the problem?" you ask
  569.
  570. >"There's no problem, but AppleJack, is..well she isn't the smartest of students"
  571.
  572. "But so far she's been getting good grades"
  573.
  574. >You look down at her desk, to see the worksheets the class did before you entered
  575. >You notice AppleJack got a 78%
  576.
  577. "What about her work?"
  578.
  579. >"Well..AJ is one of the nicest students you will ever meet around here, even though she's not too far when it comes to academics, she certainly does not lack in friendship
  580.
  581. >This triggers you
  582. >An opportunity is opening
  583.
  584. "Okay..so what do you suppose I do?"
  585.
  586. >"I've looked over your file, and it seems that you're a pretty smart kid"
  587.
  588. "Heh..my reputation precedes me"
  589.
  590. >What fucking reputation? That you're a nerd?
  591.
  592. >"Anyways, Just please don't hurt her, or get annoyed with her, AJ is slow, but if you give her time, she'll start to understand, and if you play your cards right, she could be a good friend to you" she states
  593.
  594. >Good friend
  595. >AppleJack certainly wasn't mean to you
  596. >Why should you be annoyed with a nice person like her
  597.
  598. "I understand Ms. Cheerilee, you can count on me!" you assure her
  599.
  600. >"Thank you very kindly, just get used to her southern acts okay? Now you'd better hurry along, it's first break, take the chance to look around and talk to people"
  601.
  602. *Gulp* "Okay miss, thank you"
  603.
  604. >With that, you see yourself out of the room
  605. >Phew
  606. >You just gotta help AppleJack
  607. >She just needs a little nudge and she'll be writing essays like there's no tomorrow
  608. >It's first break, now where do you go?
  609. >A common urge reaches you
  610. >You need to take a leak
  611. >Perusing the area, you try to find the restroom
  612. >A moment of thought reminds you
  613. >You have a map
  614. >Ah! Found it
  615. >Making your way to the restroom, a few people bump into you
  616. >Some people whisper to each other while pointing at you
  617. >This isn't helping
  618. >You take your trip to the restroom to look around
  619. >There are vending machines scattered around this school
  620. >Lots and lots of new faces
  621. >It's gonna take some time to get used to the regalness of this school
  622. >If you didn't know any better, you'd say this were a private school
  623. >You notice some blue girl stuffing a little doggy bag full of what looks like..peanut butter crackers?
  624. >She was rambling on about something
  625. >Among the chatter, all you could hear her say was something like "I'm the late and sour-ful kid's cereal"
  626. >Weird
  627. >You finally find the restroom
  628. >Stepping inside reveals three other students
  629. >Ohfuckmylife.png
  630. >Someone is getting bullied
  631. >A rambunctious hooligan dressed in a leather jacket, with blue hair was holding some kid by the collar
  632. >A stock bully was also standing next to them
  633. >Well shit, it's just your first day
  634. >The two bullies notice you
  635.
  636. >"Hey, hurry and do your business and get out of here" the sonic looking faggot said
  637.
  638. "Uh.." you don't know how to respond
  639.
  640. >"What? is your brain thick or something? I said scram!"
  641.
  642. >He drops the kid and makes his way towards you
  643. >He cocks his arm
  644. >You brace yourself for a punch
  645.
  646. >"Wait a second...you're new aren't you?"
  647.
  648. "Y-yeah.."
  649.
  650. >"Well consider this a welcome gift you punk!"
  651.
  652. >At that moment, he strikes you
  653. >It hurt like a bitch
  654. >Ain't that a bitch?
  655. >You fall over, a little woozy
  656. >Fuck this guy
  657. >You try to pick yourself up
  658.
  659. >"Hey boss, didn't you hear Luna talking with her sister about the new kid being some smarty when you was in her office?" the stock bully asks the other
  660.
  661. >"Oh yeah..You and me are gonna have a fun year new kid"
  662.
  663. >*BRRRIIINNNGG*
  664. >Saved by the bell...you think
  665. >The two bullies look at each other and scramble out of the restroom
  666. >Before you know it, the bullied kid leaves as well
  667. >Shit..you were hoping he'd help
  668. >Still stinging on the side of your face, you lift your body up
  669. >You take a look in the mirror
  670. >Oh fuck
  671. >That guy got you good
  672. >Now you have a cut on your cheek
  673. >For fuck sakes
  674. >It's your fist day here
  675. >You can't fight for shit
  676. >Sigh, now people are gonna think you're just a push-over
  677. >But they would be right....
  678. >Tears start forming around your eyes
  679. >You knew from the start this wasn't gonna be good for you
  680. >Why bother making new friends
  681. >Twilight was so nice to you
  682. >AppleJack is now your partner for class
  683. >But they don't know you
  684. >Twilight sort of has the right idea of you, but she's still far off
  685. >What good is living on, trying to get good grades, and making friends if in the end, that's all you'd be known for
  686. >Who's going to remember you for saving the world from dark magic while in a harem with two magicians
  687. >Who's gonna remember you for kissing your best friend the night before going on a trip with her
  688. >Who's gonna remember you for being a notorious racer or car tech. employee
  689. >So many others has done better than you
  690. >All you have to show is a messed up face on your first day
  691. >Whylive.jpeg
  692. >Might as well just keep on going until the day ends
  693. >You wash the cut, it's still bleeding but not as much
  694. >You pick up your things and leave the restroom
  695. >Guess getting your face messed tends to change your mind about using the restroom huh?
  696. >Hang in there, you've got spirit kid
  697. >A famous writer once said "Will update later"
  698. >Pulling out your map, you make way to your next class
  699. >The hallways are empty now
  700. >Sigh, now you're late
  701. >With a pep in your step, you make it
  702. >You just want today to end
  703. >Stepping into class reveals a slender-like man writing on the chalk board
  704. >He looks over to you
  705. >So does the class
  706. >Looking over him, you see he is palish grey, with cold, yellow eyes
  707. >He smiles at you
  708.
  709. >"You're the new student Miss Cheerilee has told me about? Aren't you?" the teacher asks
  710.
  711. "Um..I guess so" you say looking to the side, to avoid showing your new mark
  712.
  713. >"Well then, I am Mr. Discord, and I am your science teacher now, please, take a seat over there where it is free, and we can continue on our lesson"
  714.
  715. "Okay sir"
  716.
  717. >As you walk, Mr. Discord asks you a question
  718.
  719. >"My dear boy, at your old school, did they teach you about relationships?"
  720.
  721. "Like...chemical and molecular relationships? Yeah.." you answer
  722.
  723. >"No no, I mean, the relationship of everything, people, art, everything'
  724.
  725. >You're not sure how to respond to that
  726.
  727. "I..I guess not.."
  728.
  729. >"Hoo-hoo haha, then we're going to have lots of fun this year" he replies grinning
  730.
  731. >You take your seat
  732. >You hear a little whimper then look to the person sitting at the same science table as you
  733. >It's a girl
  734. >She looks unsure of you then tries to greet you
  735.
  736. >"H-hello..I..I'm Flutter..shy.."
  737.
  738. "I'm sorry, did you say Shutterfly?" you ask, unsure
  739.
  740. >"Um..sure..if that's what you want.."
  741.
  742. "Erm...I'm not correct am I?"
  743.
  744. >The girl meekly nods
  745.
  746. "Could you correct me?"
  747.
  748. >"It's um..it's Flutter..shy" she says once again trailing off
  749.
  750. "Fluttershy?"
  751.
  752. >"Mhmm.."
  753.
  754. >Well that was awkward as fuck
  755. >Not the whole name thing
  756. >The conversation itself
  757. >It's like she's afraid of you
  758. >The only people ever afraid of you were children
  759. >Apparently you're scary looking to them
  760. >The girl hides behind her bangs as you contemplate
  761. >Then you catch yourself
  762.
  763. "Oh...Um, Hello there..Fluttershy, It's a pleasure to meet you" you say
  764.
  765. >Maybe you could make another friend
  766. >Fluttershy comes out of hiding a bit
  767. >She raises her hand slowly
  768. >Her yellow sweater was big and poofy
  769. >It covered half her palm
  770. >You take the hand gradually
  771. >I think I used that word twice now
  772. >You look the lining of her sweater
  773. >It's not just one yellow
  774. >It's completely covered in different shades of yellow
  775. >You can't tell with the naked eye, but looking closely, it kind of looks like there's fifty shades of it
  776. >Why are you looking at the lining?
  777. >Her hand is so smooth
  778. >It's so soft
  779. >If anything, it's the complete opposite of AppleJack's
  780. >Even the fabric of her sweater is soft
  781. >Your hand feels so comfortable
  782. >It doesn't feel right to let go of the hand
  783. >But you have to
  784. >Oh well
  785. >You release her hand
  786.
  787. >"You should really copy down those notes...Mr. Discord is a very nice man, but he doesn't like failing students" Fluttershy informs you
  788.
  789. >You do so
  790. >Pulling out a notebook, specified for this class, you jot away
  791. >After a while of copying, you look over to Fluttershy
  792. >Wut
  793. >She's already finished with her notes
  794. >Dam Sung
  795. >She notices your staring
  796. >She turns over to you
  797. >Fluttershy then gasps
  798.
  799. >"Oh my.." she says worriedly
  800.
  801. "Hmm? Is something wrong?"
  802.
  803. >Maybe it was your damn staring, you lifeless geek
  804. >Fluttershy retreats to her bag
  805. >She pulls out a handkerchief
  806. >Whytho.png
  807. >Fluttershy then brings it to your face
  808. >She wipes willingly on your cheek
  809. >Huh?
  810. >This feels..good, but what's happening
  811.
  812. >"I'm so sorry, but I just noticed you have a gash at the side of your face" she starts "It's been bleeding"
  813.
  814. >Oh fuck
  815. >How long has it been going down?
  816. >You thought you washed it enough o it wouldn't bleed
  817. >That asshole must've gotten you good
  818. >You begin contemplating your life
  819. >It's only your first day
  820. >You cannot stress this enough
  821. >What the hell?
  822. >This is the type of shit that you see in the movies
  823. >The whole dull male main character
  824. >No chance with the ladies
  825. >New kid in school
  826. >Fight in the first day
  827. >Meets special girl characters who befriend him even though he's antisocial as fuck!
  828. >It's so....Old Fashioned
  829. >Now, there's a shy girl wiping your bloodied cheek
  830. >All because you didn't leave the restroom when that blue hedgehog, haired freak told you to
  831. >Well God damn
  832. >You just want to make friends so your parents won't feel like they failed you
  833. >Fuck you right?
  834. >You also just want to pass through the school year
  835. >Why can't you be more like your brother?
  836. >Did you mention you have a brother?
  837. >He's so much cooler than you
  838. >Popular in highschool
  839. >Had friends
  840. >Went to college
  841. >Joined the military
  842. >Now he writes you stories about his escapades serving the country
  843. >It sounds fun
  844. >Sigh
  845. >You look up at Fluttershy
  846.
  847. "Thank you very much" You try to smile
  848.
  849. >"Oh, it was no problem...how did this happen?" she asks you
  850.
  851. "I won't lie to you Fluttershy, some guy in the restroom socked me in the face"
  852.
  853. >Might as well come clean
  854.
  855. >"O-oh my...Maybe you should tell Vice Principal Luna"
  856.
  857. "I don't know what I'll do, I'll see about it later, for now, I'd like to get through with today"
  858.
  859. >Fluttershy takes her hand away from your face
  860. >She stuffs the blood soaked handkerchief into a little ziploc bag
  861. >You return to your notes
  862. >Suddenly, Mr. Discord yells out
  863.
  864. >"CLASS!"
  865.
  866. >This gets everyone's attention
  867.
  868. >"IF WE ARE ALL MADE OF CELLS, THEN WE ARE NEVER ALONE RIGHT?" the weird teacher asks
  869.
  870. >The class mumbles a bit before everyone agreeing
  871.
  872. >"SO, I FIGURE WE DO A PROJECT ABOUT OURSELVES AND HOW WE RELATE TO SCIENCE THROUGH CELLS"
  873.
  874. >The class just goes along with it
  875. >He then speaks up once more
  876.
  877. >"Oh-ho ho, also, I'd prefer i if you young cell masses were to pair up with another cellular mass"
  878.
  879. >At that moment, you slowly turn your head towards Fluttershy
  880. >She looks up at you
  881. >Your eyes meet
  882. >Fluttershy then gives you a weak smile
  883. "Wanna be...my cellular partner?" you ask
  884.
  885. >Muh spaghetti
  886. >Fluttershy's face shows a tinge of red
  887.
  888. >"That would be..nice" she replies
  889.
  890. >Mr. Discord writes down the project info. on the chalk board
  891. >Two projects in 1 day huh?
  892. >Fluttershy and you copy down the info. into your notebooks
  893. >Something hits you
  894. >Fluttershy seems really nice
  895. >Maybe you should ask her to be friends?
  896. >Hang out later?
  897. >That seems too forward, nevermind that
  898. >Why couldn't you be born with your brother's confidence?
  899. >It's too early to leave, and too late to back out of befriending Fluttershy
  900. >At that moment, Fluttershy and you knew that you'd be partners for this assignment
  901. >This day so far has been a spiral, and it's only second period
  902. >Taking a quick glance at your wristwatch, you notice class is nearly over
  903. >You take this bit of free time to look over the room
  904. >It seems like a normal classroom
  905. >Chemistry equipment in one area
  906. >Computers on another
  907. >Yeah, nothing out of the ordinary here, save for a few bizarre things
  908. >Mr. Discord's desk has some weird nick-knacks on it
  909. >There are six...ponies?
  910. >Why would he have six pony figurines on it?
  911. >Even more odd, three of the ponies have manes that horrifyingly resemble Twilight's. AppleJack's, and Fluttershy's hairstyles
  912. >Maybe that jerk hit you a little too hard
  913. >Another look to your watch
  914. >Just fifteen more minutes
  915. >Fluttershy was writing things onto her notebook
  916. >After what happened with AppleJack, you think it'd be best not to peek at Fluttershy's
  917. >You hear giggling coming from the front of the class
  918. >It's Mr. Discord
  919. >He's giggling at something on his laptop
  920. >Lord he's a weird fellow
  921. >He could make this year not boring for you though
  922. >Yet another look at your watch
  923. >Four minutes now
  924. >You pack up your things into your bag
  925. >Hiking up your hoodie sleeves, you stretch out
  926. >Boy what a first two classes
  927. >None of the material is hard at all
  928. >The drama building up however, might become problematic
  929. >You decide to shrug this off
  930. >Any minute now the bell sho-
  931.
  932. >*BRRRRIIIIIINNNGGG*
  933.
  934. >Ah, there it is
  935.
  936. >Mr. Discord stood up
  937.
  938. >"Alright class, good lesson today, don't forget about this "chaotic" assignment, and have a good lunch" he spoke
  939.
  940. >Fluttershy picked up her things
  941.
  942. >"It was nice meeting you...you should a-add me on..FaceSpace..for the project!" she said abruptly before leaving the class
  943.
  944. >Girls be cray
  945. >You make way for the door
  946. >Mr. Discord stops you
  947.
  948. >"I hope you'll settle in young man" said Mr. Discord
  949.
  950. "Of course sir, thank you"
  951.
  952. >"Oh and one more thing, I notice you speaking with Fluttershy"
  953.
  954. "Oh, yes, she's very nice and kind"
  955.
  956. >Where was this going?
  957.
  958. >"Just know young man, if you ever cross her the wrong way, I'll smash your hands"
  959.
  960. >Gulp
  961. >What?
  962. >Is he like her dad or something?
  963.
  964. "Y-yes sir" you say before finally leaving
  965.
  966. >You hear an audible laugh coming from the room
  967. >God what the hell is up with this place?
  968. >Lunch
  969. >You take out your phone and open the FaceSpace app
  970. >Going through your little notifications, you add Fluttershy
  971. >Almost immediately, she accepted your request
  972. >That was incredibly fast
  973. >You're not complaining
  974. >It feels gratifying to have new friends
  975. >Your cheek still stings but Fluttershy helped with that
  976. >This cut won't kill you so you decide to avoid going to the Nurse's office
  977. >Floods of students fill the hall
  978. >As you walk by, three Freshmen looking girls rush into you by accident
  979. >None of you fall thankfully
  980. >You didn't want to deal with the eyes of people staring at your fall
  981. >You can't imagine these girls would either
  982. >They apologize as they get ready to leave
  983.
  984. >"S'cuse me mister!" The red headed girl with the bow said as she went on
  985.
  986. >"Pardon me sir!" The powdered looking one said gracefully while she followed suit
  987.
  988. >The last girl who looked like a tom girl just stood there for a moment
  989. >You were shrugging as she stared at you
  990.
  991. >"Scootaloo!" yelled the red headed girl
  992.
  993. >Tom girl snapped back into reality as she booped your hip and ran off
  994. >What?
  995. >Ignoring that, you make way for lunch
  996. >Food does sound good right
  997. >What a rush of a day so far
  998. >You pull out your map
  999. >It sort of feels funny having it
1000. >It makes you feel like the newbie more than it should
1001. >Everyone else is accustomed to the school so you're the only one peering down at your map
1002. >Aside from the Freshmen, except no one pays attention to them
1003. >Following the map, you head over to the cafeteria
1004. >A poster on the nearby wall indicates it's Taco Tuesday
  1005. >Oh boy
1006. >You step through the double doors
1007. >Rows and rows of lunch tables
  1008. >Lots of students here
  1009. >Makes sense since it's a public High school
1010. >Yet, it's all so well kept, and clean
1011. >You shake away from the school interior thoughts
1012. >The lines for lunch were forming
1013. >Yourself included in the line
1014. >So much chatter filled the cafeteria
1015. >None of it towards you
1016. >As you waited in the line, your eyes scanned the room
1017. >Nice lunch room, no litter
1018. >Best of all, the sun illuminated the room, rather than needing the use of lights
1019. >You tried not to look anyone directly, in fear of looking weird
1020. >Not only that, you tried to steer clear of that blue haired fag
1021. >Rubbing your cut, it dried up by now
1022. >Your sights are set upon an empty table by the large windows
1023. >Maybe when you're sat down, you can listen to some of your tunes
1024. >Grabbing a lunch tray, you ready to get some food
1025. >As you come up the line, you take notice of the lunch
  1026. >Regular tacos
  1027. >Wait a minute
1028. >These tacos look pretty damn good
  1029. >Crispy looking shells
1030. >Juicy, nicely colored ground beef
  1031. >They even have a topping bar
1032. >There's no fucking way this school has a normal fund system
  1033. >Maybe drugs are involved?
1034. >hehe..save the theories for later
  1035. >You get your taco
1036. >A feeling of emptiness fills you as you sit down alone at the table
1037. >Right next to your table at the wall was a vending machine
  1038. >You could go for a soda
1039. >Pulling out your wallet, you scramble for a couple quarters
1040. >Some choices cross your eyes
  1041. >ParaSprite
  1042. >Dr. Redheart
  1043. >Gypsi Cola
  1044. >....Water
1045. >You settle for some Coke
1046. >Sitting yourself down again, you pull out your phone
  1047. >Time for some music
1048. >Before you could even unlock your phone, an audible sound of trays slamming on the table ring your ears by surprise
1049. >Looking up reveals those three girls from earlier
1050. >The powdery looking one spoke up
  1051.
1052. >"Um, sorry sir, do you mind if we sit here?"
  1053.
1054. >She has an awful lot of mannerism
1055. >Don't girls her age by this point in time stay glued to their phones and scoff at any moment of courtesy?
1056. >These girls don't dress like girls today though
  1057. >They dress...kind of appropriate actually
1058. >You're also grateful that she asked, rather than just rudely take the table
  1059.
1060. "Not at all, please, have a seat" you say
  1061.
  1062. >The girl gave a warm smile
1063. >She and her friends sat down from across you
1064. >The interest you had in listening to your music, was now gone
1065. >Putting your phone away, you begin eating
1066. >That nagging feeling of stares return
1067. >The source was directed back to the tom girl looking one
1068. >The girl who booped you earlier
1069. >Looking up from your tray half-way to not look suspicious, there you saw her
  1070. >She hasn't even touched her taco
1071. >You could clearly see that she was looking at you
  1072. >It was uncomfortable
1073. >Maybe she was looking at your cut?
1074. >You feel your cheek to make sure the bleeding didn't continue
  1075. >Still dry
1076. >What was it on your face that she kept staring at?
1077. >Trying to concentrate on your taco, you overhear their conversation
  1078.
1079. >"Scootaloo" started the red headed one "Yer starin' again"
  1080.
  1081. >You recognize that accent
1082. >It reminds you of AppleJack
1083. >You suppose the tom girl's name is Scootaloo since that's what she was called twice now
  1084.
  1085. >"Huh?...OH!" Scootaloo gasped "M-my bad!"
  1086.
1087. >Peering up, you notice Scootaloo's face was flustered
1088. >Her skin color made her blush look purple
1089. >It doesn't seem like she meant any harm
  1090.
1091. "It's fine, don't worry about it" you say reassuringly
  1092.
1093. >"You'll have to excuse Scootaloo, she can space out sometimes hehe" spoke the powdered one
  1094.
1095. "No offense taken from it, I hope there's nothing wrong with my face heh"
  1096.
  1097. >Nice ice breaker
  1098.
1099. >"N-no..your face is great-" Scootaloo nervously musters
  1100.
1101. >Everyone at the table looked up
  1102.
  1103. "Umm..."
  1104.
  1105. >Visibly, Scootaloo was panicking
  1106.
  1107. >"I um...I mean..uh.."
  1108.
1109. >"What Scootaloo MEANT to say was..that there isn't a thing wrong with your face" powdery one tried to cover up
  1110.
1111. >"Y-yeah! She was probably lost in thought is all" the red headed one followed
  1112.
  1113. >Scootaloo gave a sigh of relief
1114. >The other two tried to smile innocently
1115. >You decide to go along with it
  1116. >These are Freshmen, it's quite obvious
1117. >They don't seem like the cruel teenage shits that most girls are today
1118. >Maybe you can entertain this
1119. >If it goes how you think it will, you won't end up with a another mark on your cheek
  1120. >Here goes nothing
1121. >Putting on a semi-confident look on your face, you speak up
  1122.
1123. "Oh, well I was about to say, your face is great too-"
  1124.
1125. >The girls stop dead in their movements
1126. >Before they could react, you finish your sentence
  1127.
1128. "-Scootaloo..Is it?" with a half smirk on your face
  1129.
1130. >On the outside, you looked casual and smooth
1131. >On the inside, you were spilling spaghetti for days
1132. >Your face was burning up
1133. >Why did you even say that?
  1134. >Suddenly, Scootaloo faints
  1135. >You didn't mean for that
1136. >The red head starts fanning Scootaloo with her hands
1137. >Powdery one speaks up again
  1138.
1139. >"Heh, sorry sir, I think Scootaloo's just smitten by you"
  1140.
  1141. >Smitten?
  1142. >By you?
1143. >You look around behind you
  1144. >They can't mean you
1145. >Maybe they have you confused with someone else
  1146. >You pinch yourself
  1147. >Not a weird ass dream
  1148. >WAIT THE HELL UP
1149. >DID YOU JUST CAUSE A FRESHMEN TO FAINT
1150. >No one has attacked you yet
1151. >These girls don't look like they're gonna slap you
  1152. >Geez
1153. >This wouldn't be so weird for you if you weren't some introvert
  1154. >Powder speaks again
  1155.
1156. >"Uh anyways, I'm Sweetiebelle" she introduces herself
  1157.
1158. >She motions towards the redhead
  1159.
1160. "This Applebloom, and well I guess you already know this is Scootaloo"
  1161.
1162. >This isn't as bad as you thought it would be
  1163.
1164. "It's a pleasure to meet you!" you say extending your hand
  1165.
  1166. >Sweetiebelle takes your hand
  1167. >Hers is so soft
  1168. >So smooth
1169. >You love the way her hands feel
1170. >Shame you have to let go
  1171. >It'd be too weird
  1172. >Pulling away, you smile
1173. >Now that you've been aquainted, you continue on your taco
  1174. >Hang on a second
  1175.
1176. "Wait, so you're Applebloom?" you ask
  1177.
1178. >"That's right pardner!" Applebloom answers before taking a bite out of her taco
  1179.
1180. "So..are you by any chance related to Applejack?"
  1181.
  1182. >Applebloom lit up for a second
  1183.
1184. >"That's mah sister! Do you know 'er?"
  1185.
1186. "Haha, yeah, I just met her today in class, I'm new here actually"
  1187.
1188. >"You're new!? So that means none of us are familiar with this place!" Sweetiebelle pipes up
  1189.
1190. >"Hey, yeah! We could all work together as a team" spoke Applebloom
  1191.
  1192. >A team?
  1193. >What do they mean?
  1194. >Sweetiebelle continued
  1195.
1196. >"Applebloom, Scootaloo, and I have formed a group in elementary called The Crusaders"
  1197.
  1198. >The Crusaders?
  1199. >Now that's just adorable
  1200.
1201. >"So whaddya say Mister, wanna be apart of The Crusaders?" Applebloom offers
  1202.
1203. >You feel that this day has progressed so well so far
  1204.
  1205. "I'd be delighted to"
  1206.
1207. >Sweetiebelle and Applebloom smile at you
1208. >After a brief moment, Applebloom wakes up Scootaloo
  1209. >You properly introduce yourselves
1210. >Scootaloo apologizes for what happened, unaware that Sweetiebelle said she liked you
1211. >All of you begin eating as "The Crusaders" of Canterlot High
1212. >Scootaloo then brings up the only skirmish of the day so far
  1213.
1214. >"What happened to your cheek?" she asks
  1215.
1216. "Huh? Oh...Uh, it's nothing, I just, walked into the door at the restrooms" you try to cover
  1217.
  1218. >It fails
  1219.
1220. >"A thang I picked up from Applejackis her honesty, you shouldn't lie about this, we're all friends now!" Applebloom intervenes
  1221.
1222. >"Yeah! You're a Crusader now, we look out for each other!" Scootaloo speaks up
  1223.
1224. >"That's right, you can tell us anything, that's what The Crusaders do!" Sweetiebelle
  1225.
  1226. >Oh geez
  1227. >These girls don't mean harm
  1228. >They mean really well
1229. >You're still new to all this
1230. >It feels strange to have them all attentive to you
1231. >That's what friends do you suppose
1232. >They do care for one another
1233. >Besides your immediate family, you can't really say you've felt this before from anyone
1234. >Maybe telling the truth won't be so bad
  1235.
  1236. "Well...I.."
  1237.
1238. >The girls are staring at you like cameras to a scene
1239. >You have their full attention
  1240. >This feels...good
1241. >It makes you feel fuzzy inside
  1242.
1243. "I..I got punched by someone in the restrooms..."
  1244.
  1245. >The girls gasp
  1246.
1247. >"You got into a fight?!" Scootaloo asks
  1248.
1249. "Uh..no, There was a kid getting bullied, and I didn't want to leave the restroom, so I got hit in the face by some guy"
  1250.
  1251. >You've never been in a fight
1252. >Can't imagine that you'd last more than a punch anyways
  1253.
1254. >"Well, do you at least know who did it?" asks Sweetiebelle
  1255.
1256. "No..All I know is that he has blue hair" you answer
  1257.
  1258. >"Ya'll don't think..?" Applebloom says
  1259.
1260. >"No, it couldn't have, could it?" replied Sweetiebelle
  1261.
1262. "Um..what are you guys talking about?"
  1263.
1264. >"We were just pondering who could've done this"
  1265.
1266. "I don't know, all I do know is that now I got this gash on my cheek, but it could be worse"
  1267.
1268. >"When ya do find out, make sure to report it to Vice Principle Luna" Applebloom told you
  1269.
1270. >It was good to have some sort of support on your back
  1271.
1272. "Thanks guys, for your concerns" you say, grateful
  1273.
1274. >"It's no worry, it's what we Crusaders do!" Scootaloo replies
  1275.
1276. >With that, you smile before taking another bite of your taco
1277. >A sip of your soda insures you that your troubles are far away
  1278. >Things are well now
  1279. >You've made friends
1280. >Maybe this year will continue down this wonderful path
1281. >Just then you feel a tap on your shoulder
1282. >A glance behind your shoulder reveals a familiar face
1283. >A smiling, purple face was looking down on you
  1284. >Those eyes, behind spectacles
  1285.
1286. "Twilight!" you start "Hey there, how are you?"
  1287.
1288. >"I'm doing fine, how was your day so far?" she asks while readjusting her glasses
  1289.
1290. >You decide to leave out the beating you took
  1291.
1292. "My day has been going great actually, I met some people, and I met these girls over here" gesturing to The Crusaders
  1293.
  1294. >Twilight looks over
  1295.
1296. >"Oh, hey girls!" Twilight waves over
  1297.
1298. >The girls all reply in unison
  1299.
  1300. >"Hi Twilight!"
  1301.
1302. "You guys know each other?" you ask
  1303.
1304. >"Mhmm, I sort of tutor them, and I'm friends with their sisters" Twilight replies
  1305.
1306. >"Twilight's the best, she can teach anything!" Applebloom says
  1307.
1308. >Twilight blushes before putting away her glasses
  1309.
1310. "Oh, um, Twilight, please have a seat" you motion towards the empty space next to you
  1311.
1312. >"Why thank you" she says
  1313.
1314. >Twilight places her hand on your shoulder before taking the seat next to yours
1315. >She pulls a package out of her satchel
  1316. >It's Sandwich Prince package
1317. >Her lunch is Sandwich prince
  1318. >Smells delicious
1319. >Twilight immediately begins to scarf the food down
1320. >Jesus this girl has an appetite
  1321. >She begins eating vigorously
  1322. >It's pretty impressive
1323. >Twilight notices you gawking at her
1324. >She wipes her face with a napkin
  1325.
1326. >"Oh, I'm sorry, that wasn't very ladylike of me" she apologizes
  1327.
1328. "No no, it's totally cool, I just never seen people enjoy food like you do" you say reassuringly
  1329.
1330. >Twilight smiles and begins to eat again
  1331.
1332. >"So feller, how was your first day so far?" Applebloom pipes up
  1333.
1334. >All of the girl's attention return back to you
  1335.
1336. "Well uh..Like you three already know, I met Applejack in my first period"
  1337.
  1338. >Twilight perks up
  1339.
1340. >"You met Applejack already? That's great!" Twilight says
  1341.
1342. >It is liberating to know all these people
1343. >It's all happening so fast
  1344. >You're not complaining though
1345. >It'd be great to go home and tell your parents that you've met new friends
  1346.
1347. "Yeah, she was very honest and nice, I'm also her partner for a project"
  1348.
1349. >"Are ya'll talking 'bout me?" a familiar southern voice speaks
  1350.
1351. >Applejack comes by with her lunch tray
  1352.
  1353. >"Howdy everyone!" greets Applejack
  1354.
1355. >Everyone exchanges greetings with Applejack
  1356.
1357. >"I see ya'll met my new partner for our fangled project" says AppleJack
  1358.
1359. >"It's such a coincidence that we all met the same person isn't it?" asked Twilight
  1360.
1361. "Or maybe it's a good thing" you say taking a bite of your taco
  1362.
1363. >They all look at you
1364. >They all exchange a smile with you
  1365. >This is good..isn't it?
  1366.
1367. >"I certainly can't wait for you to meet the rest of the gang" Twilight tells you
  1368.
  1369. >Rest of the gang?
1370. >She wants you to meet more of her friends?
1371. >This idea sits in your head on a fence
1372. >The more friends the merrier right?
1373. >Still though, you don't know how to deal with these friends, is it too early to gain more?
1374. >When in doubt, square up
  1375.
  1376. "I can't wait" you reply
  1377.
1378. >"Three of them are actually busy right now, but two others should be coming over any moment now" says Twilight
  1379.
  1380. >Jesus Christ
1381. >Twilight, Applejack, Scootaloo, Sweetiebelle, Applebloom, AND five more!?
  1382. >It's a lottery for friendship
1383. >Still, it can also be a minefield
1384. >Despite how well things are going along with these new people, you don't really know a thing about them
1385. >Not to mention you met Fluttershy as well
1386. >You really don't want to look at a bad side of this, but you don't really know anything about these girls
1387. >Applejack is a southern girl who's struggling in her classes with a sister, but she could be a killer
1388. >Scootaloo was smitten by you sure, but she was probably thinking about skinning your face
  1389. >Wait a second!
  1390. >Now just calm down
  1391. >It's the paranoia speaking
1392. >These are graceful, innocent girls who want to befriend you
1393. >Not only that, they want to introduce you to more friends
  1394. >Oh geez
  1395. >Seriously, fuck social emotions
  1396. >You're extremely grateful
  1397. >Just a little nervous is all
1398. >In fact, every friend you made so far is a girl
1399. >Weird that you haven't made a single dude friend
  1400. >Now you're at a table full of them
  1401. >You're still not complaining
  1402. >It is odd though
1403. >The only guys you met so far were very unpleasant
1404. >Seriously, fuck that blue haired guy
  1405. >Fucking generic Sonic
1406. >Why does every school have a stock bully?
  1407. >This couldn't be more old fashioned
  1408. >Could be worse though
1409. >You take a sip of your soda to calm your nerves
1410. >Just gotta avoid that guy for the rest of the year
1411. >Maybe after school, you can go sight seeing
  1412.
1413. >"Oh hey Fluttershy" Twilight greeted
  1414.
  1415. >Fluttershy?
1416. >You turn your head to see Fluttershy sit down with her tray
1417. >She looks surprised to see you
1418. >You weren't expecting to see her so soon either
1419. >Don't be awkward, say hey
  1420.
1421. "Hey Fluttershy, fancy seeing you here"
  1422.
  1423. >Smooth as a dragon dildo
  1424.
1425. >"You met Fluttershy already? Wow, you work quick" Twilight pats your shoulder
  1426.
  1427. >Fluttershy blushes
  1428. >Everyone else greets her
  1429.
1430. "Yeah, we met in science"
  1431.
1432. >"S-sorry about your cheek" Fluttershy meekly says
  1433.
1434. >No one noticed it until now
1435. >The rest of the girls look to your face
  1436. >There's the feeling again
  1437.
1438. >"What in tarnation happened there? That sure wasn't on your face when I saw you this mornin'" Applejack speaks up
  1439.
  1440. >Twilight nods in agreement
1441. >"Yeah, what happened to you?"
  1442.
1443. >You try to brush it off
  1444.
1445. "Nothing, it was just a little bump"
  1446.
1447. >Cole Phelps would slap you
1448. >Don't thank the academy because you suck at acting
  1449.
1450. >"He said he got punched by some guy" Scootaloo pipes up
  1451.
  1452. >You shoot Scootaloo a small glare
1453. >She retreats behind her taco
1454. >Twilight examines your cheek further
  1455.
1456. >"He must have hit you pretty hard"
  1457.
  1458. >Good work detective
  1459.
1460. "Yeah, but Fluttershy wiped away most of the blood when it was gushing"
  1461.
1462. >"Wow, Nice work Flutters!" Sweetiebelle said to Fluttershy
  1463.
1464. >Fluttershy's face went completely red
  1465.
1466. >"I-it was nothing..r-really..was just trying to be...helpful" She was hiding behind her bangs
  1467.
1468. >"Do you know who did this?" Applejack asks
  1469.
1470. >Before you could answer, Applebloom spoke up
  1471.
1472. >"He said it was a guy with blue hair sis'"
  1473.
1474. >"Blue hair?" Twilight started "It couldn't be who we think it is could it?"
  1475.
  1476. >The pronoun game
  1477.
1478. >"That's what we were thinking!" Sweetiebelle said
  1479.
1480. >"Was he wearing a leather jacket by any chance?" Twilight asks you
  1481.
  1482. "Y-yeah..he was" you answer
  1483.
1484. >"UGH, I knew it" She replied frustrated
  1485.
  1486. "Um..who is 'he'"
  1487.
  1488. >Applejack answered
  1489.
  1490. > "Flash Sentry"
  1491.
  1492. "Flash Sentry?" you ask
  1493.
1494. >"Y-yeah...he's my ex" Twilight answers
  1495.
  1496. >Ex boyfriend huh
1497. >How fucking cliche can this get?
1498. >Your first day, you meet a beautiful girl, and you get socked by her ex boyfriend
  1499. >What's next? A ski competition? A karate tournament?
  1500.
1501. >"Listen..I'm sorry he hurt you, he's a real jerk"
  1502.
1503. >A stinging sensation returns to your cheek
1504. >It's been half a day yet it feels like a thousand years already passed by
  1505.
1506. "It's fine, if the bell didn't ring when it did, he probably would've did more"
  1507.
1508. >You try to shrug it all off with a light chuckle
1509. >Another sip of your soda for reassurance
  1510.
1511. >"It isn't fine, I don't know what I saw in him," she starts "He bullies every guy I talk to, and he's just- ugh"
  1512.
  1513. >This isn't your department
1514. >The closest to a relationship you had are dating simulators
  1515. >They don't turn out like this
1516. >You have to change the mood somehow
  1517.
1518. "Hey! He doesn't know I talk to you yet, I'm just gonna avoid him anyways"
  1519.
1520. >"What were you doing in the restroom that would've made him punch you?"
  1521.
  1522. >No need to ponder
  1523.
1524. "Nothing at all," you take another sip "He was bullying some kid and I didn't want to leave so he punched me"
  1525.
1526. >Twilight was obviously getting angry because of this
  1527.
  1528. >"Are ya'll thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" Applejack asks
  1529.
1530. >The girls nod in agreement
1531. >You play along to not feel like the odd one out
  1532.
1533. >"We need to get back at him!" Twilight announces
  1534.
  1535. >Oh fuck
  1536. >Oh fuck no
  1537. >No no no
  1538. >Shit
1539. >If there's anything you know about drama, it's that in real life, this shit doesn't end well for the under dogs
1540. >The girls seems so willing though
1541. >Can you really talk them out of this
  1542. >Should you?
  1543.
1544. >"Well, if there's anyone else we need fer this, it's definitely Sunset Shimmer" Applejack says
  1545.
1546. >"Who needs me?" A cougary voice trails from nearby
  1547.
1548. >"Speak of the devil" Twilight says
  1549.
1550. >"That was only one time!" the girl says
  1551.
1552. >Sitting at the table with the rest of you now was a girl in leather
1553. >She had fiery hair, that for some reason, reminded you of bacon, but looked nothing like it
1554. >This girl looked laid back
  1555. >Like a biker chick
  1556. >Suddenly, Applebloom spoke up
  1557.
1558. >"We need yer thinkin' skills to help us get back at Flash!"
  1559.
1560. >"Flash? What's he done now?" Sunset asked
  1561.
1562. >"The question is, what hasn't that rascal done, we made us here a new friend, and Flash already gone and hit him" answered Applejack
  1563.
1564. >Sunset's attention diverted to you
1565. >She looked as if she took a moment to think
  1566.
  1567. >"Okay, I'm in"
  1568.
1569. >The rest of the girls cheered as the idea was being accepted
  1570. >Sunset spoke to you
  1571.
1572. >"Hi there, I'm Sunset Shimmer, I hope you haven't heard things about me yet"
  1573.
1574. >You wonder what that means
  1575.
1576. "Hello, it's nice to meet you, it seems you all have quite the group here"
  1577.
1578. >"We like ta think of ourselves as a mighty fine collective!" Applebloom speaks up
  1579.
1580. >"Well, these "Crusaders" aren't actually in our group, but we keep 'em close" Applejack says
  1581.
1582. >"Speaking of our "group", where's Pinkie?" Sunset asks the table
  1583.
1584. >Pinkie? What a cute name you think to yourself
  1585.
1586. >"She might be in the auditorium, also Rarity is skipping lunch to help with decorating the Gym" Twilight answers
  1587.
1588. >Rarity? One more name to think of
1589. >It dawns on you that if all these girls are so immediately accepting, then these other girls are something to look forward to
1590. >Heh, it's funny, you sort of have a friend for a different stereotype
1591. >Twilight is the genius, bookworm
1592. >Applejack is the Southern belle who's not afraid to get dirty
1593. >Fluttershy is the soft hearted girl who cares for others over herself
1594. >You're not sure about this Sunset girl just yet though
1595. >If anything, by the way she looks, she seems like the type to hang out with this Flash Faggot
1596. >You shouldn't judge her just yet though
1597. >What does she mean though, about not hearing about her?
1598. >The urge to ask is burning
1599. >Asking would be rude though
  1600. >Damn, here goes nothing
  1601.
1602. "Um..Sunset, what did you mean earlier by not hearing about you?" you ask like an idiot
  1603.
1604. >Sunset looked at with you with a bit of confusion
1605. >Asking that question probably wasn't the best idea
1606. >She looked down a bit as if she were deciding
  1607.
1608. "I uh..didn't mean to offend you if I did.."
  1609.
  1610. >Sunset gave you a soft smile
  1611.
1612. >"It's fine, it's just that people don't tend to like me when they hear about things I've done" she says
  1613.
1614. >"You shouldn't let your past actions get you down when you've changed for the better" Twilight tells her reassuringly
  1615.
1616. >The other girls all agreed with her, putting their hands on her
1617. >The feeling of caring and love were in the air
1618. >It was really fuzzy in your stomach
1619. >No doubt you couldn't comprehend this feeling, but how often do you get to witness something so beautiful
  1620. >Sunset smiled at everyone
  1621.
1622. >"Thanks girls, really, I couldn't have asked for better friends, especially you Twilight" Sunset spoke with a raspy but appreciative tone
  1623.
  1624. >Twilight was blushing
1625. >You felt like the background character of a sitcom
1626. >While all the girl were being mushy, you were just there all weird
  1627.
1628. >Applejack notices this and clears the air
  1629.
1630. >"Hehe..sorry 'bout that sugarcube, we just had to have our moment" she apologized
  1631.
  1632. >Sugarcube?
  1633. >Was that a nickname?
1634. >Whatever way she meant it, you were now blushing
  1635.
1636. >"Anyways," Sunset starts "Let's just say before I met Twilight, I wasn't the nicest person around"
  1637.
1638. >You wouldn't know anything about that, but it seems she's past it
  1639.
1640. >"I did..things, manipulated people.." Sunset opened up "When Twilight first came here, I tried to ruin her reputation"
  1641.
  1642. >Twilight?
  1643. >Sweet, smart, innocent Twilight?
1644. >Damn, she must have been a real bacon bitch
  1645.
  1646. >"But now you're a friend, a true true friend" Twilight said
  1647.
  1648. >How...nice
1649. >This sight before you was so genuine and pure
1650. >It felt as if you had no business being here
1651. >Your first day and already these girls have done so much to let you in their circle
  1652. >Better yet, there's more to come
  1653. >Rarity, and Pinkie
1654. >Whoever these girls are, you cannot wait
  1655. >Suddenly, Fluttershy speaks up
1656. >Well she tries to at least
  1657.
1658. >"Hey...are you..okay?" she asks you without confidence
  1659.
1660. >This whole time you were quiet
1661. >You must have looked dumbfounded
  1662.
1663. "Oh! I'm fine hehe..just a little overwhelmed is all"
  1664.
1665. >Twilight put her hand on yours, which didn't have a taco in it
1666. >You can feel what these girls were saying
  1667. >The link
  1668. >It felt great
  1669. >Twilight made you feel...safe
  1670.
1671. >"Don't feel overwhelmed, we're here for you now" she said warmly
  1672.
1673. >Just then, the other girls looked to you with smiles
1674. >Even The Crusaders joined in
  1675.
1676. >"With all that being said, you don't have to worry about Flash anymore" Sunset told you
  1677.
1678. >You nearly forgot that Flash existed
  1679.
1680. "W-Wait a minute now" you try to speak
  1681.
1682. >"Relax sugarcube, he's had it coming to him for a while now" Applejack chimes in
  1683.
  1684. >What's next?
1685. >Seran wrapping his entire car?
1686. >Painting all over his house?
1687. >Putting a bag of horse dildos in his locker?
1688. >This is way too cliche
1689. >You're playing with fire by doing all this
1690. >Despite your mind telling you not to have any part in all of this, you did start this
  1691.
1692. "Okay...so how do we do it?" you ask
  1693.
1694. >Scootaloo pipes up from her taco eating
  1695.
1696. >"Oh! What if we get him drunk at a party, and have him accidentally knock up a freshmen?" she suggests
  1697.
1698. >The table loops at her
  1699. >Scootaloo retreats behind a taco again
1700. >Sweetiebelle pats her on the back for trying
  1701.
1702. >"What I was thinking," Sunset starts "Is we catch him in the act of something embarrassing and have everyone see it"
  1703.
1704. >"And what act should we catch him in?" Twilight asks
  1705.
1706. >"Oh, an act definitely not set up by seven girls and a new guy in town" Sunset replies with a devious grin
  1707.
1708. >The Crusaders look down at hearing this
1709. >You notice this, they did recruit you, so why not show some courtesy
  1710.
1711. "H-Hey guys, I think we should let The Crusaders help us with this"
  1712.
1713. >The three young girls widen with smiles and hope in their eyes
1714. >Twilight understands what you're trying to do
  1715.
1716. >"That sounds fine, you three can totally help us, but for now we need to wait to rendezvous with the rest of the group before really doing anything" Twilight tells them
  1717.
1718. >The Crusaders are visibly happy
  1719.
1720. >"So when should we meet up? The other girls are gonna be busy until after school" AppleJack announces
  1721.
1722. >"Then after school it is, but where?" Sunset asks
  1723.
1724. >"We're definitely not going to Fluttershy's place, not with all them critters and whatnot" AppleJack says
  1725.
1726. >Fluttershy looked down and pressed her lips out
1727. >An idea strikes your head
  1728.
1729. "Hey uh..My house is free after school, my dad will be at work, and it'll just be my mom"
  1730.
  1731. >The girls all agree
1732. >AppleJack lets The Crusaders know they can't come to your house until they do all their homework and chores first
1733. >All is set in motion now
  1734. >Lunch continues normally
1735. >You all eat your food, have small talk
1736. >Sunset asks about your old town
1737. >AppleJack talks about the project you're paired with her for
1738. >Fluttershy tries to do the same but gets all mixed up in her words
  1739. >Everything's...fine
1740. >You're trying to keep the thought of having ten girls at your house off your mind
1741. >Here's hoping that everything will go smoothly
1742. >After a bit of eating and exchanging dialogue, the bell for class rang
1743. >It was now time for third period
1744. >The girls said their goodbyes and went their separate ways
1745. >Once again, you were by yourself
1746. >It isn't that bad now since you have something to look forward to now
1747. >A few more classes and you'll be hanging out with your friends
1748. >Your mom could meet them, be happy for you
1749. >You could tell your brother about it, and maybe he won't think of you as a wimp for not wanting to join the military
1750. >Things were really looking up
1751. >As you walked toward your class, many students once again filled the hallways giving you little to no room to breathe
1752. >At this point it was clear to be on the lookout for Flash, so you could avoid him
1753. >Many different faces passed you by, none of which you recognized
1754. >It would've been nice to walk with one of the girls but it wasn't time to bite off more than you could chew, and the plate was spilling with food
1755. >As long as you don't run into the stock bully of every /mlp/ story ever, you don't mind walking alone
1756. >Following the map, you found your way
  1757. >This was art class
1758. >Stepping in the class lead you to see sculptures and paintings spread all around
1759. >Paint cans, brushes, canvases, rags, modeling clay, pots, etc. could be seen as far as the eye could see
1760. >Just about everything arts and craft could be found here
1761. >Other students entered and took their places at respective work stations
1762. >The teacher stepped in and took notice of you immediately
  1763.
1764. >"You must be the new student Principal Celestia informed me about" your teacher said to you
  1765.
  1766. >Your teacher was beautiful
1767. >She wasn't the girl next door, mother you'd like to fuck type like Ms. Cheerilee
  1768. >No...she was just...beautiful
1769. >At this point she noticed you gawking at her
  1770.
1771. >"Please allow me to introduce myself to you" she started "I'm your art teacher, Suri Polomare"
  1772.
  1773. >Suri...Polomare
1774. >You make sure to remember that name with that face of hers
  1775.
1776. >"Please call me, Ms. Polomare, and take a seat at any empty work station here"
  1777.
1778. >Ms. Polomare explained that every week there will be a theme, and you'll have the entire week to create a piece, whether it be a painting, sculpture, paper mache, origami, song, or clothing
1779. >Apparently Ms. Polomare is a well known fashion designer in Manehatten as evident of her plaques on her desk
  1780. >What she's doing here, you don't know why
1781. >She made it very clear you get extra points if you can make an original clothing design worthy of the public
1782. >There has been two other students who have been able to do so according to her
  1783. >This week's theme was "Friendship"
1784. >An idea sparked into your head
1785. >It's almost as if the theme is correlated to a greater force influencing the turn of events
1786. >With haste, you begin sketching out a rough draft of your piece
1787. >An artist you weren't, but you liked to believe that your drawings were above the stick figures that most can do
1788. >Hopefully this piece comes out the way it looks in your head
1789. >You felt like Light Yagami as you slid your pencil across the paper in violent motions
1790. >It was refreshing to be honest
1791. >Art class never seemed like a chore to you
1792. >Creativity could not be graded, or at least not to you it couldn't
1793. >Surely Ms. Polomare would understand that
1794. >That being said, you never considered Art to be a real class so much as it was a moment in school to dick about
1795. >Just then, your pencil lead broke
1796. >Your mom forgot to buy you a pack of mechanical pencils so you resorted to using an old wooden pencil for the day
1797. >You just about used it up to its breaking point
  1798. >Get it?
  1799. >Like a moron, you didn't bring a pencil sharpener
1800. >A quick scan of the room showed no visible pencil sharpener
1801. >You'd think with the advancements of the school there'd be a golden sharpener at every corner
  1802. >Oh well
1803. >Picking up the broken pencil, you get up to ask Ms. Polomare if she has a sharpener
1804. >You don't want to bother anyone else while they work on their pieces
1805. >Ms. Polomare was sitting at her desk sipping what smelled to be hot chocolate
1806. >It smelled fresh but made your soda/taco filled belly churn a bit
1807. >She looked up at you with a raised eyebrow
  1808.
1809. >"How can I help you?" she asked
  1810.
1811. "Sorry to bother you, but do you have a pencil sharpener, I didn't bring one"
  1812.
1813. >Ms. Polomare looked into her desk for a quick moment
1814. >She put her finger to her lip
1815. >It seemed an idea popped into her head
  1816.
1817. >"I should have one in the storage room back there, ask Coco to open it for you"
  1818.
1819. >Ms. Polomare motioned to a frail looking girl in the back of the class organizing art supplies
  1820.
1821. >"She's my student aide so she can help you with anything further"
  1822.
1823. >The way she said that leaves you to believe that she'd rather you go to others when you need assistance
1824. >You went over to Coco and tried to get her attention
  1825.
  1826. "Um, excuse me..Coco?"
  1827.
1828. >She was still deep into her work
1829. >Trying not to be too interruptive, you lightly tap her shoulder
  1830.
  1831. >"OH!" Coco gasped
  1832.
1833. >Jumping a little, she turned around too fast still holding some of the art supplies
1834. >One of those supplies happened to be opened paint
1835. >A splash of white paint had struck you
1836. >There was now a white streak going down your hoodie
  1837.
1838. >"Ohmygoodness *breathe* Iamsosososososososorry!" Coco was speaking so fast
  1839.
1840. >She began getting wash cloths and wiping your hoodie
1841. >This only made the streak spread
1842. >Your hoodie began to look completely dull white
  1843. >Coco was freaking out
  1844.
  1845. >"I'm soooo sorry, I can't do anything right"
  1846.
1847. >You try to speak up and assure her it's all right but she continues to wipe
  1848.
1849. >"Why am I like this? Ms. Polomare is right about me, I'm useless" she kept going
  1850.
1851. >Before you could calm her down, Ms. Polomare had already come over to see what was going on
1852. >It didn't take long for her to see what had happened
1853. >Ms. Polomare let out a deep sigh while gripping the bridge of her nose
1854. >The disappointment on her face was so great it made you feel like you did something wrong
  1855.
1856. >"Coco Pommel....I thought we've been through this" Ms. Polomare said still holding her nose
  1857.
1858. >"I know miss, I am so sorry, I was just surprised and-" Coco started but was cut off
  1859.
1860. >"I don't care if you're sorry! That is no excuse for you being so clumsy!" Ms. Polomare bolted at her
  1861.
1862. >Coco was retreating into her own body holding the opened can of paint to her chest
1863. >She looked like she was about to cry right there
1864. >Ms. Polomare went on about how useless Coco was
1865. >She kept at it, and to your surprise, none of the other students seemed phased by this
1866. >Tears were already forming at Coco's eyes
  1867.
1868. >"Are you actually going to cry now sweetheart? You have no reason to, your clothes didn't get smacked with paint, go wipe those tears and repay this young man for his troubles" Ms. Polomare said before going back to her desk
  1869.
1870. >Ms. Polomare rubbed her temples and took a sip of her Hot coco before going back to what she was doing
1871. >Holy shit did that just happen
1872. >You're trembling, and you didn't get yelled out
1873. >How the hell has no one else reacted?!
1874. >You turn to Coco, who was looking the other way, sniffling hard, trying to stop herself from crying in front of you
1875. >She placed the paint can down and pulled out a little coin purse from the purse around her body
  1876.
1877. >"*sniffle* H-how much..*sniffle* do I owe y-you..?" Coco asked with her words shaken and stirred
  1878.
1879. >She was already reaching into the coin purse, jumbling around the bills, looking for an appropriate amount
1880. >After a little shuffling, she just gave up and pulled out everything that was in it
1881. >From the amount you could see, it looked around $152
1882. >Your hoodie was only $15....but it was on clearance..so it was only $7
1883. >Without hesitation, you put the money back into her little purse
1884. >With both your hands, with care, you pushed her hands back, making her let go of her main purse
1885. >She looked at you in confusion with tears streaming down her face
1886. >All you could do in the moment was give her a small smile, letting her know there was no hatred
1887. >In that moment, Coco embraced you
1888. >She was a little shorter than you, so her head pressed onto your neck
1889. >You could feel the warm tears going down your neck
1890. >The paint, still wet, most likely was spreading onto her clothes now
1891. >Something like this was still foreign to you, but general compassion was something everyone should have
1892. >Trying your best, you put your arms around her, trying to comfort her
1893. >After a bit, she eased up and the two of you straightened yourselves up
1894. >You let her know that it wasn't her fault, she didn't have to worry about repaying you
1895. >Well, the paint's never gonna come off, but now it gives you a reason to buy a new one
1896. >Your hoodie now lay folded in your bag, as to not get any paint on the insides of your bag
1897. >Coco seemed better now, but her eyes were still a little red from the tears
  1898.
1899. >"*Sniffle* Why are you being so kind?" she asks you
  1900.
1901. "I know how it feels to be told you're useless, not knowing if it'll ever get better" you tell her confidently
  1902.
1903. >Even you don't know where this is coming from
1904. >You felt as though Twilight took control of you and was speaking for you
1905. >Whatever the case, it was making Coco feel better
1906. >She gave you a weak smile, which was adorable despite the dried tears on her cheeks
  1907.
1908. >"I'm Coco Pommel....It's nice to meet you....really, it is" she mustered out
  1909.
1910. >Clearly this girl has been through some things
1911. >She seems even more emotionally damaged than Fluttershy
1912. >The thought that she has been taken advantaged of before creeps into your mind, and makes you want to beat the fuck out of anyone who has
  1913. >You're no whiteknight though
1914. >Still, the least you could do is make sure no harm comes her way in your watch
  1915.
1916. >"W-what was it you needed from me..before I uh..you know.." she asked
  1917.
1918. "Oh! I was going to ask you if we could look in the storage room for a pencil sharpener"
  1919.
  1920. >Coco perked up a little
1921. >She looked as though she was excited to be of use
1922. >Your heart can't take all this in
1923. >It's only your first day
  1924.
1925. >"I can help with that, l-let's go" Coco spoke with less distraught
  1926.
1927. >You and Coco made your way to the door in the back
1928. >She pulled a ring of keys out from her purse, switching between them
1929. >As messed up as it is to say, you can't imagine Coco being picked as a student aide
  1930. >Ms. Polomare's student aide nonetheless
1931. >After unlocking the door, Coco opened it, leading you in
1932. >Switching on the lights revealed a little room scattered to the brim with art supplies
1933. >On one side of the wall even had an assortment of boxes with labels "Suri's #1 outfits--Do Not Touch!"
1934. >This doesn't surprise you in the least
1935. >Coco began sifting through a cubby full of items for the sharpener
1936. >She seemed a lot calmer in here doing something, yet the gloom in her was still present
1937. >If Ms. Polomare does this to her often, then you can't begin to imagine what the hell Coco's going through
  1938.
1939. >"It was my fault..Ms. Polomare is right when she says those things" Coco spoke as she searched
  1940.
  1941. >Coco is a stranger to you
1942. >That doesn't make this hurt you any less
1943. >Why would a teacher be this cruel?
1944. >The thought of Twilight and the other girls run through your mind
1945. >They've been running through your mind since you met them
1946. >This time was different though
1947. >Like Twilight was holding the wheel, she took control
1948. >You opened your mouth to speak
1949. >You weren't even thinking, you just let out whatever what would come out
  1950.
1951. "Coco, I don't think you're useless....Not one bit" you put your hand on her shoulder from behind
  1952.
1953. >Coco's body was softly trembling
1954. >It wasn't a scared tremble, or a bad tremble, but a tremble as if she was letting go
1955. >Coco was breaking down the barriers
  1956. >Twilight's words didn't stop there
  1957. >Or rather...your words but Twilight inspired
  1958.
1959. "You know...I was where you were too...being told i'm useless, that I can't do anything right" you started "I was always around people who thought I was just some weirdo"
  1960.
1961. >Your grip on her shoulder became tender, not rough but firm
1962. >It was a way to let her know you felt what she felt
  1963. >You understood
1964. >Something you always felt, that no one could ever understand, but she felt it, she understood, and vice versa
1965. >Suddenly a flash of Fluttershy wiping your cheek went through your mind
  1966. >Pay it forward
1967. >That's what your parents would tell you
  1968.
1969. "Don't ever feel sorry for being who you are, Coco, there is only one of you, and the world would be lucky to even have your attention for just a second"
  1970.
  1971. >You began trembling
  1972. >Your hand was shaking
1973. >Coco put her hand over yours
1974. >She was still trembling, but the both of you understood what it was
1975. >The silence of the storage room was soothing
1976. >It was exactly what Coco needed
1977. >There was more you could say, but it didn't need to be said
1978. >The two of you just stood there, trembling together in sync
  1979. >This was good...wasn't it?
1980. >Coco then turned to face you
1981. >She was facing down but you could sense she wasn't as sad anymore
1982. >You were greatly taller than her, but she was greatly tall in her strength to endure all of Ms. Polomare's words
1983. >Coco slowly faced upwards towards you
1984. >She gave you a soft smile before lifting up a pencil sharpener towards you
1985. >A giggle escaped your mouth
1986. >Coco looked at you in confusion
  1987. >Suddenly she couldn't help herself
  1988. >She began giggling too
1989. >Soon the both of you were giggling like a bunch of kids high on helium
  1990. >It was a moment she needed
1991. >The moment you needed for a long time as well
1992. >You wished the other girls could be here for this moment, but some moments are more beautiful witnessed by those who needed to be there
1993. >After you finished your giggle fest, you took the pencil sharpener from Coco
1994. >Still with a soft smile plastered on her face, Coco embraced you in a hug
1995. >The hug was returned by you
  1996.
1997. >"Thank you" she whispered softly
  1998.
1999. >You let her go and softly rubbed her shoulders
2000. >The both of you left the room
2001. >Coco switched off the lights and locked the door behind her
2002. >With that, you returned to your piece while she went back to sorting
2003. >A great weight was lifted off the shoulders of both you and Coco
2004. >Once again, you were sketching away at the paper
2005. >The theme was friendship, so a clear idea was already set in place
2006. >The sketch was coming out great which meant the final piece when you get started, should be just perfect
  2007. >Mr. Discord's little figurines inspired you a little
2008. >The biggest inspiration however were your new-found friends
2009. >In the end, your art piece was going to be a painting, but for now you sketched
2010. >Your paper, once blank, now filled
2011. >It describes your current situation
2012. >Your life, once empty, now being filled
2013. >Like your paper too, only you could do it
2014. >It's up to you to fill that paper
  2015. >Time was going on
2016. >Every now and again you'd glance over to Coco to see how she was getting on
2017. >She would catch you eye at the same time you looked over
2018. >The both of you would exchange a smile and continue with your tasks
2019. >At this point your sketch was finished, you could add details when you start on the canvas
2020. >To you, it encapsulated how you felt up to this point
  2021. >Moving to a new home
  2022. >Meeting Twilight
  2023. >Meeting AJ
  2024. >Running into Flash
  2025. >Meeting Fluttershy
  2026. >Meeting the Crusaders
  2027. >Meeting Coco
  2028. >Friendship is a hell of a thing
2029. >While thinking about how you were gonna paint the sketch, Ms. Polomare called out to the class
  2030.
2031. >"Okay everyone, class is about to end, put your pieces in your designated area, and we'll continue tomorrow" Said Ms. Polomare
  2032.
2033. >She looked over to you
  2034.
2035. >"You can go ahead and give Coco whatever you worked on, and she'll find a place for it" she informed you
  2036.
2037. >Coco got ready to assist you once again
2038. >She was surprised it was only a sheet of paper with a sketch on it
2039. >All the more easier for her to keep it in a safe place
2040. >Coco put the sketch into a file bin, setting a tag on the bin to let others know it's yours
2041. >You thanked her and went to retrieve your bag
2042. >Just as you slung your backpack on, the bell rang
2043. >According to your schedule, you now have another class period, then second break
2044. >Everyone was on their way out
2045. >Following behind, Coco caught up to you
2046. >She stopped you before you left the classroom
  2047.
2048. >"I'm glad I met you today" Coco said before givng you one last hug then heading into the hall with a smile
  2049.
2050. >With that, you entered the hall with an easy head
2051. >A familiar urge from earlier crept back
2052. >You never did pee, so now would be acceptable
2053. >Making your way to the nearest restroom, you made sure to look out for Flash
2054. >Don't need a round two from that faggot
2055. >Even though it wasn't break or lunch, most students were just hanging in the halls
2056. >No one was obnoxiously smoking though, so that was cool, at least not in the actual school
  2057. >Hopefully the bathroom wasn't full
2058. >The side of your eyes couldn't help but to notice a circle formed around a section of a hallway
2059. >Someone was breakdancing while some chick in shades was playing music on her speaker
  2060. >Everyone seemed into it
2061. >No time for that though
2062. >Finally getting to the restroom, you take a step inside
  2063. >No one
  2064. >Phew
2065. >No one in the stalls either
2066. >Just as you're about to unzip, someone steps in
  2067. >It isn't Flash
  2068. >It's some...brolic guy
2069. >The way he's dressed reminds you of AJ and Applebloom
2070. >Maybe there's more southern people here than you thought
  2071. >Thankfully this guy didn't start anything
2072. >The both of you stood side by side at the urinals
2073. >The only thing seperating you, was a wooden divider
2074. >Thank goodness, you don't want to imagine the monster this guy is gonna pull out
2075. >Quickly, you do your business
2076. >Washing your face, you clean up any remnants of blood that dripped out of your cheek from earlier
2077. >The restroom was unnaturally cold
  2078. >Jesus.mov
2079. >Shame that your hoodie got ruined but you're not gonna blame Coco
2080. >After drying your hands, you leave the restroom
  2081. >This period was Gym
2082. >No extra clothes were brought today
2083. >To be fair, you weren't even sure what classes you were going to get
2084. >Nothing can be done about it now
2085. >Guess today will just be a free day for you
2086. >Unless the gym teacher decides to make you run in your jeans
  2087. >Whatever
2088. >You headed for the gym
2089. >As you did, you noticed The Crusaders running in the hall, looking for their classes no doubt
2090. >Seeing them brings you to a smile
2091. >Hopefully no one saw you just now
2092. >Following the map again, you found the gym
2093. >A paper taped to the front doors of it kept you from going inside
2094. >"Gym closed for the preparations of the Fall dance--All gym class students report to the soccer field"
  2095. >Sigh
2096. >Guess you'll be sitting in the sun in your jeans
2097. >Just as you were about to leave, a voice chimed in
  2098.
2099. >"Excuse me dahling" an elegent, regal voice spoke to you
  2100.
2101. >Turning to face the source revealed a beautiful girl
2102. >Pale white, almost powdery skin, complimented by glossy purple hair in an outfit that seemed more expensive than anything you could ever afford
2103. >Her hairstyle was so clean and came down to a large curl
2104. >She was holding a box of items with her
  2105. >The girl spoke again
  2106.
2107. >"Do be a dear and open the gym door for me, won't you?" her voice, angelic
  2108.
2109. >As if entranced like a zombie, you opened the door for her, letting her in
2110. >The girl made her way in
  2111.
2112. >"Why thank you dahling" she said as she went in
  2113.
2114. "N-no problem" you mustered out still in awe at her beauty
  2115.
2116. >She giggled as she left your sight
2117. >While you let go of the door, you could hear another voice from inside
  2118.
  2119. >"RARITY, arethosethe PARTY STREAMERS!?!?!?!?"
  2120.
2121. >That voice sounded like whoever that was, drank so many cans of redbull Ironwill
  2122. >Oh well
