  1. Nacho stood in the local Ishgardian inn, it had only been a few days since the betrayal at Ul'dah and she had finally managed to get some alone time. She had always been stalwart, silent most of the time, she didn't want to let the people who depended on and looked up to her down as the warrior of light. This...this however was finally her breaking point. She roared in a mixture of anger and despair as she beat her fists against the floor. "HOW MUCH MORE DO I HAVE TO LOSE!? HOW MUCH MORE OF MY CREW, OF MY FRIENDS DO I HAVE TO LOSE AGAIN AND AGAIN!?" Tears rolled from her eyes like a flood as the pent up emotions of the last few months finally rolled out, losing her friends at the waking sands at the hands of the garlean empire, the loss of Moenbryda, and finally their betrayal at Ul'dah. As she finally let it all free, she felt small, like a small mote of light in a world of darkness, smaller than she had ever felt before. It hurt, It hurt more than even the wounds she suffered at the hands of the Ultima Weapon. She wept and wept and wept sinking ever deeper into despair. Until Finally....she heard someone at the door.

  3. "Nacho? Are you alright?" It was Alphinaud, a dear friend, especially during these times. "Is something wrong?" His voice was enough to bring her back from the brink, she remembered her friends, the faces of all those she saved. She remembered who she was and stood, shaking but slowly recovering. "Yes, Alphinaud. I'm fine. Really." She resolved herself and kept those memories close to her heart. She was allowed to mourn, she was allowed to regret, but she still had a Duty to do. For the memories of her friends and for the people of Eorzea, she would weather this storm until the end.
