  3. I visited Tesco on 20/08/2017 at around 12:20pm and was dissapointed with the service provided.

  5. The contactless feature on the self service tills was not functioning that day and there were no notices explaining the issue (I did find post it notes on the card machines today though).

  7. My collegue tried to use the tills and explained the issue to the male member of tesco staff and I don't think he was treated well. After explaining he only had a card available and no cash the tesco staff member exclaimed that he should not come into the shop if he does not have cash.

  9. First of all, that's completely ridiculous, Tesco is a modern supermarket with card payment facilities on all tills. Secondly, there was no suggestion to use another till or even if he just typed his card in instead. Finally, there was no need to be rude to my collegue. I understand the staff member may have had to repeat himself and was perhaps becoming frustrated but there was no need to vent on my collegue.

  11. I feel the visit effected him negatively and it affected his work for the rest of the day as he was upset. As I am his line manager this then had a knock on effect to me.

  13. I'd like something to be done about this, I've never had such a bad experience at tesco before and frankly find it alarming.
