Rather than being set back by his previous set of lawyers being incriminated on drug or misconduct charges, the billionaire appears to have bought himself an even more cuthroat set of yes-men to grind away at the legal system. Thankfully, the prosecution reassure us that Monarch will be providing lawyers experiences in Kaiju Law, to keep the thumbscrews tight on this renegade.
The beautiful city of Ivyland was today visited by the Neo Fuujin, an Science Airship owned by the stateless Intellect Komon Gasha. While the extreme biologist, wanted for crimes in many nations, particularly his native Tokugawa, did not personally exit the vehicle, rumors are circulating that he may be seeking a movie deal, or perhaps to work creating monsters for big-budget serials. Well, he'll soon find that any proper Ivyland studio has no need for wierd overseas help! Also spotted at the scene was an delegation from the Special Taskforce - Could the STF, having had to shelve the doomed A-Faction product, be looking overseas for replacement super-soldiers? We can only speculate, dear listeners.
Speaking of the oddness of Tokugawa, the civil unrest there continues to escalate, as the reclusive Senhime, Administrator of the Bonin Archipelago, has publicly recognised the Bakufu Patriot faction as the legitimate rulers of the islands, and her cousin Tevion Nobunaga as the ruling samurai their, though she remains mistress of Ogasawara Castle. This is a big blow for the Loyalist Government, as while the islands are sparsely populated and poor in resources, they cover a wide segment of ocean and control many important shipping lanes. When contacted for comment, the Loyalists would only repeat 'The Patriots have no legitimacy and are simply belligerent deserters'. Look like Tokugawa's troubles are far from over yet!
