- I discovered that after first vote, article rating appears for intro text too. I also found that if I comment this part of code isset($row->rating_count) && in plugins/content/vote.php like this if (/* isset($row->rating_count) && */ $params->get( 'show_vote' ) && !$params->get( 'popup' )){ article's rating appears even if no user have vote. The question is, what exactly this part of code do and if it's wrong to comment it? – DNA180 Dec 31 '12 at 11:53
- It's always better not to comment on core code because it will get overwritten when you update. It's not a bad suggestion though to make $row->rating count 0 if it is not set, so if you wanted to put it in the tracker I would think it has a good chance of being accepted. – Elin Dec 31 '12 at 14:19

- I just realized you are on 1.5, which is past end of life so not getting fixes but we'll fix in the current. You should thin about updating though, depending how complex your site is. – Elin Jan 1 '13 at 15:43
- It's a bit "difficult" to update to a newer version of Joomla, because 50% of my Joomla 1.5 site, contains modules and components made by me!!! Months of hard work... Who knows in the future!!! But for now, I am really happy as it is!!! :) By the way, I did as I said at first comment...
