- Overview:
- Kingpin Mode is a dynamic multiplayer game mode for FiveM where players choose to be part of either the Criminal or Authority faction. Players work their way up the ranks to become the ultimate leaders of their faction: the Kingpin (for Criminals) or the Mayor (for Authorities). The game mode features multi-stage missions (heists and raids), faction-based warfare, business management, and a player-driven economy. It is designed using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles in C#, making it modular and customizable, allowing server owners to tailor the game mode to their needs using a drag-and-drop interface.
- Core Gameplay Features
- Factions:
- Criminals:
- Criminal players can take on a variety of illegal jobs such as drug dealing, smuggling, and robbery. Their goal is to rise through the ranks and eventually become the Kingpin, the undisputed leader of the criminal underworld. Criminals can control territories through gang wars, run illegal businesses, and execute heists to increase their influence.
- Authorities:
- Authority players work in law enforcement and aim to uphold order in the city. They can join the police, SWAT, or government forces, with the ultimate goal of becoming the Mayor, the top authority figure in the city. Authorities must disrupt criminal operations through multi-stage raid missions, maintain control over territories, and manage legal businesses.
- Multi-Stage Missions
- Heist Missions (for Criminals):
- Criminal players engage in multi-stage heists, including planning, preparation, execution, and escape phases. These missions are high-risk, high-reward, and allow Criminals to rob banks, armored trucks, or conduct other illegal operations. Success requires careful coordination and teamwork.
- Raid Missions (for Authorities):
- Authority players conduct multi-stage raids to disrupt criminal activities such as drug busts, gang hideouts, and smuggling rings. These missions mirror heists in complexity and challenge, with stages like intel gathering, breach and entry, and combat and arrest. Successfully completing a raid weakens Criminal factions and can lead to arrests.
- Player Progression and Hierarchy
- Criminal Progression:
- Criminal players start with low-level illegal jobs, such as pickpocketing or smuggling, and progress to high-level crimes like bank heists and drug cartel management. As players succeed, they rise through the criminal hierarchy, with the ultimate goal of becoming the Kingpin, controlling the entire criminal faction.
- Authority Progression:
- Authority players begin as low-level law enforcement officers, working their way up through promotions to positions like SWAT commander, detective, or government agent. The highest achievable rank is the Mayor, giving them control over all law enforcement and public resources in the city.
- Faction Hierarchy Module:
- Both factions feature customizable hierarchies, allowing server owners to define their own rank structures. Criminals can have gang leaders, drug lords, or mafia bosses, while Authorities may have ranks like chief of police, SWAT captains, and the Mayor.
- Economy and Business Management
- Business System:
- Players can own and manage legal or illegal businesses, generating passive income. Criminal businesses may include drug labs, smuggling rings, or underground casinos, while Authorities can run legitimate businesses such as tech companies or construction firms.
- Economy Module:
- The game features a player-driven economy where income from businesses, missions, and territory control fuels the factions. The economy can be customized by server owners to emphasize either legal or illegal income streams.
- Territory Control and Turf Wars
- Territory Control Module:
- Criminal factions can battle for control of various city territories, which generate additional income and resources. Criminal players must defend their territories from rival gangs and Authority raids. Authority players, in turn, must conduct raids to break Criminal control and restore order to the city.
- Gang Wars:
- Criminal factions can engage in gang wars, fighting over control of the city’s most lucrative regions. These turf battles add an extra layer of competition and require strategic planning from both sides.
- Modular Customization System
- Customization Webpage:
- Server owners can use a drag-and-drop interface on a dedicated webpage to customize their version of Kingpin Mode. They can select from a variety of modules, including job sets, mission sets, faction hierarchies, and more. Once configured, the system automatically packages the custom setup into a ZIP or 7z file that is ready to be extracted directly into the FiveM server's resources folder.

- Anti-Cheat and Module Scanning

- The main game mode scans for installed modules on the server, dynamically enabling or disabling features based on the installed components. For example, if a server installs the Heist Missions Module, it will activate multi-stage heist missions for Criminals, while the Raid Missions Module will enable raid missions for Authorities.
- Official vs. Non-Official Servers:
- Servers flagged for custom modifications or file size mismatches are marked as non-official and routed to a separate database. This allows server owners to create custom experiences while preserving balance on official servers.
- Conclusion
- Kingpin Mode is a flexible, modular multiplayer game mode for FiveM that offers deep, strategic gameplay for both Criminal and Authority factions. The game mode can be customized to suit the needs of individual servers, offering a wide variety of modules that expand the core experience. With its focus on multi-stage heists and raids, territory control, business management, and faction-based progression, Kingpin Mode provides a rich, immersive experience for players on both sides of the law.
