Poem about god

In the beginning, there was only the vast emptiness
Only a sea of darkness, with no one there to witness
Suddenly, there was a big storm, and chaos disturbed
The great peace and calm that had once existed

There was nothing but total and complete disorder
There was no awareness of anything, and no borders
Between this or that, me and you, because no limits
Had been set yet, nothing had been named or defined

The storm went on for a little while, until finally
A pattern emerged, dots connected, and there was a mind
An awareness appeared out of nowhere, this was god's mind
His consciousness reached everywhere, touched everything

He asked himself: 'Who am I? What am I? Where did I come from?'
He created two shapes, to represent himself and what was before
The triangle to represent him, like fire which rises up above
The circle to represent the infinite sea of nothing that's below

He said to himself: 'I am the light which shines on everything.'
But there was nothing for his light to shine on yet, no creation
So he used his own energy, which he drew from the empty space
In his mind, he imagined all the things that he wanted to create

And in that moment, all his thoughts started to exist and took form
In a big bang, the Universe, the galaxies, stars and planets were born
He planted seeds of himself, a couple here and there, and let them grow
On one of the planets, the seeds took root, and they started to evolve

At first, there was just the rocky planet surface, mountains and the sea
In time, life appeared in small and simple forms, and started to breed
Life grew more and more advanced and complex, into plants and animals
Mammals were the most adaptable, their intelligence became more tangible

A special type of mammal, called primate, grew bigger and bigger brains
One day, it became human, started thinking about the past and future
In a dark twist of fate, the human animal became so intelligent
It could predict its own death, it understood the beginning and end

The humans took dominion of the planet, and ruled over it with fear
They were afraid of everything, the other animals and even each other
They were always ready to kill everything and everyone around them
But there were rare moments when fear subsided, and they could relax

'At last!', said the god who had been watching them the entire time
Finally, he could interact with the human mind and make it understand
Everything in nature is connected, and it's all part of the big plan
There are no mistakes and no accidents, nothing good and nothing bad

There's just god.
