MEETING CHUG

After the letter was delivered he would indeed go find his answers. Was he happy? No, the yokai was never happy. The burning hatred and desires inside called to him. As he would sweep through the fields of Nostvale. He would not let anyone see him. His speed was quite dangerous. Actually it was something not many would be able to even see him at.

As he wuld flash past into the caves he would look around.

So many damn yokai! The whole cave would glow and fill with screams of agony. Whoever was around or near the cave would hear many gigas, megas, teras scream in agony as their flesh was consumed in a raging fire. The eyes they would come upon would be of a fiery beast like creature. A rabbit in a sort of way yet more demonic and dangerous.

Chug had arrived.

"She best not waste my time. Now the fun shall begin." He says as he would snap a giga body in half and consume it. The devil indeed was awaken. All those who brought him pain shall now recieve it also.

The mercenary would simply sit down on a mountain waiting for the woman. The man wondering how Chug was going to handle this situation. Quiet though as this moment was going to get intense.

After completing her connection to the lodestones that she had the power of, the young, noble Loirdne woman took several hours of meditation to ease her nerves.

The meet of Chug, a yokai from her past that she had made a promise to. Would he arrive in the caverns to her? Or pass up the opportinuty to learn why she had abandoned him all of those years ago?

Notes were written. For her mother, for Ciel, and for Brenton in specific, but nothing more. They were out on their daily duties, completely their tasks within the city and or church. It would be awhile until they'd find these letters left behind, warning them not to come.

Her gear was grabbed, placed on, and Vivica headed her way into the dark caverns before Cinderfall. Lurking. Looming. Stalking. And waiting in the darkness for Chug to appear. Their first meet, she hadn't any idea of what the yokai's appearance turned out to be, she'd find out if he were to show!

Another few hours had gone by. Screeching, ear piercing cries erupted from the southern portion of the caves, making it evident that a beast had arrived

Vivica, who peaked over the rock of a mountain she sat on top of stood. Her voice boomed out in a flat, confident, and demanding tone.

"Chug. My son. Is this how you expect to make a 'quiet' appearance in the caves nearby Cinderfall, hm?" The woman's glowing, silver eyes looked to him with a void glare.

"I don't plan to waste your time, yokai. Go ahead. Ask my the questions you seek the answers for." The chin raised. She was high above, standing atop the mountain before the yokai as if she were the leader he bowed to.

He would look at the girl. Time had really past as she was now a woman. The two indeed have grown. The grip of his weapon that was connected to his chain was immense. He would gaze at her and crack his neck. How to handle this situation well? Chug had no such intentions as she called him yokai as if he was like the others.

If she saw him this way he shall treat her the same.

"Don't call me such things woman. If you treat me like those of my kin i shall treat you like the creatures you ally with. The man who killed my creator you side with him now. Why? What did my creator do that let you spit on his end? You of all people knew that he would die for you yet you turn on him....Disgusting!"

The merecenary would get worried now.

"You side with creatures who killed off your former father also correct? You must be the biggest regret of most of Loranthis. A weak hearted woman who used others for her own gain huh? A creature who says false things as those who she viewed as family now see nothing but a false lie that they guided!" A spit of rage.

The mercenary was really worried now.

"You leaving to side with Cinderfall shows you always were never for Loranthis. You are nothing to most. Though it burns me day in and out as i waited for your lies. Torture after torture as i waited. Yet, here you are stnading above as if you are beyond even my creator. If he was alive he would break that stupid glare off your face. You want to know why he never killed you hmm? Because he saw that you were a human who would not think of him as a yokai who seeked to end all and everything. Yet, i see he was as much as a failure as you. Pathetic..."

The mercenary would have a widen gaze. He did not expect that at all. For Chug to calll Cucco pathetic it seemed so strange. Yet, he saw what Chug had become. Sadly this what life had turned him into. The yokai would wait and listen as he would let the chains rattle.

Before Chug was Vivica. A calm woman taught by both parties of evil and good, but in the end, she faced the good of the world against the evils that dwelled within it. He knew that too well, but he appeared he didn't understand why she turned away from the likes of Loranthis.

Quietly and contently, moreso amused, she listened to every word the yokai had to spit through its teeth. Each word was vile, even going as far as calling his own father pathetic was naught but amusing.

"Why do I side with the man who saved my life from being used by yokai, you ask? Why do I side with the apparent enemies who had slain that man that so kindly took me in when I arrived in Loranthis, you question? Do you truly believe I'd use others for my own gain, Chug? You're quite wrong. Do you truly think I was never with the side of Loranthis? You are very wrong."

Lightning began to spark among her body and reverberated throughout Trystle. A shake of her head was given in. This was already taking off well. Truly an interesting conversation.

"You're right that I began as a child who didn't see Cucco as a yokai, but as a friend. A father, just like Thom. A creature who raised me and helped me be the person I am today. Without Cucco's help, I probably wouldn't be in this position before you now, Chug." She began and continued on.

"It's because of ME that you're alive right now and standing before me. All of those years ago when I made the decision to leave Loranthis after Thom's demise, I sought out in the world to learn and understand. Cinderfall was where my journey began. I wanted to learn and understand life better. The reason for why things happened, and I have." Vivica's eyes glanced towards the yokai's messanger before falling back on to the yokai's own.

"I left you because that was the only way to protect you. I couldn't take you into Cinderfall otherwise you'd have been slain mercilessly. My choice was to leave you back in Loranthis where Nashandra and others could raise you. I couldn't turn back after I left, otherwise that would have meant my own death. You see, Chug." She paused for a moment. Static electricity within the air rose with the increase of her power. She was close by Cinderfall and had a lodestone shard within her satchel, allowing her to connect her mana and feel a stronger flow of energy within her circuits.

"If I didn't leave you behind, you would be dead. I had to do what I thought was best for you, and as a child, that was my decision. You lived through Loranthis just as I have, be appreciative that you're here before me, your 'mother' as you refer to me being. I couldn't help that the man who adopted me killed Cucco, that was out of my own hands and within his own. Do you understand now?"

"I left Loranthis to experience and learn. To better understand life than to live with constant regret. Thom fell because he was too far gone to be redeemed. Nashandra was the one who manipulated him into insanity. I wasn't going to allow that to happen to me."

He would laugh as she spoke. Of course she was still a child to him. As she was a human he was a yokai. To big differences between the two. Both saw thins in a different way. Chug would listen and simply frown. A unsatisfied yokai indeed as he hated everything she said.

"I see a traitor and you always be one A weak little girl who left sides to gain on her own. You didn't see my creator as a friend. You saw him as someone to use. You were here because he was weak. A waste of yokai life form. If he was down before me i would consume his very soul. I think it be enough to make up for the mistake that is you."

He would listen on.

"You are wrong! I'm here because Loranthis manage to hold its own against those fools called the Outlaws. I'm here because the cowards of Cinder know that they will perish if they so challenge the Alliance once more. Your journey to a place that seeks to burn away my creator and the others who watched over you. Even Fimye such a kind soul sees you as traitor."

Hearing how she would still even side with such a city made the yokai angry.

"Yet, you CHOOSE to stay with Cinderfall! You live day by day with a creature who seeked to end the existance of everything the others work for! Your nothing but a traitor. Even the Golden one would walk away from you after you let the bitch who is now dead guide you. Day by day as you grow with them you grew to become nothing but a bigot and a filthy traitor."

She would then speak of Thom's demise.

"You speak of Thom's demise yet here you are doing what he hated. Siding with a city that turn its back on him. Nashandra did not manuliplate the Golden one. You are a fool who doesnt know nothing. You didn't even have the idea of how you were being manuipalated till this day. For day in and day out those rats known as the Outlaws hunted Cucco. You knew this and since he dead you would smile and laugh with the man who sent him to his end."

Chug would take a deep breath.

"You hate yokai i see it in your eyes. That look Cucco hated to this very day. Even he tried to change that. Don't you ever call him a friend again. You are not his friend anymore. You are turncoat like those others. He believed in all of you. Yet, you left him. I should clean up his mistakes then so shall it be."

He would grab the chain sword tighter. Fire would burst around his form.

"Tell me Vivica How does it feel to know that you are a mistake? Tell me how it feels to know those who are dead would now roll over their graves because of decisions and their own? The creator mistakes are a burden i will show the Silver Queen i can make up for. Now then traitor make your answer and decision."

A smile would curve on his face.

"Admit that Cucco should have left you to die out when you went missing. Admit he should have never trusted scum of your kind. Admit that your are one of the biggest regrets in the Silver Queen and Golden King's rule. Admit this so i may leave you to your disgusting acts."

Waiting as he would gaze at her.

There had been plenty of wrongs in what Chug spoke. Each statement he made or remark against her owns words was well listened to. Vivica knew just who she was, her own actions and why she had done what she did.

'You think of me as a mistake, but those who I've aligned with see me as nothing but a Hero, a friend, and a damn good one at that." Vivica wasn't going to argue against a creature like Chug, it was pointless.

He saw his outlook on her differently than those in Cinderfall did. Vivica knew of any mistakes and decisions she made and she lived with each one daily, but that wasn't going to stop her from who she was.

"You may consider me a traitor all you want, because you're right. I eventually abandoned Loranthis because I was oh so selfish."

She wanted to spill out about the fact that she could have been back in Loranthis if Nashandra didn't fail to letter her back, but Vivica held back from that. What difference would the statement make? None. Nothing.

"I, Vivica Loirdne, Hero of the Eternal Flame." She took a moment to pause as fire began to exude from her body along with water to create a cloud for her to sit upon. The young woman's eyes closed and she reached for that door immediately to pull out Niall, the storm elemental she had trained with for years now.

In the physical realm before them both, a cloud with lightning conducting through it began to appear. Lightning formed eyes stared upon the form of the yokai below them. "I.." She voice rose, booming throughout the caverns.

"Vivica Takashi, the adopted daughter to Thom, now a Loirdne and Hero of the Eternal Flame, do no admit that your father should have left me to die. I won't admit to anything you desire me to give in to!"

It was stated. She was not going to admit to anything.

"I, your former mother, am before you now to end your miserable existence upon these lands. You've brought this upon yourself coming into my presence. Now, you shall die today. Your father's end came to be by my own father's hands. NOW? It's my duty to end yours."

She stated the moment lightning cracked down, breaking through the roof of Trystle. Above the clouds were dark, rain was falling heavily among the yokai and her through the massive, broken open hole in the caves.

"Niall, aid me now. We're bringing down this fucker today. You won't escape me, yokai."

He would chuckle as she spoke these words. Enough talk now actions will make the decision. Chug had grew tired of these games. He would roar as three ripping holes would form. The deadly beast of Chug's command would come out and gaze. Fire booming around them all. They were pawns and they will be used.

Chug would simply smirk. Power surgering around his form.

"I am Chug! Born from the depths of my crreator Cucco the Harbringer. Today i will avenge him. Today you will regret everything. You shall pay you fithly woman. You shall become another victim. Then soon all of Cinder will learn that their downfall his soon rather than later!"

With his power bursting harder he would prepare to attack.

"Rip into her and those of you who does. I will reward. Now go!" The creatures would charge the woman and not caring for their own safety. All that mattered now was revenge. Chug planned on getting just that.

Just as Vivica spoke her final words, shards within her satchel from the lodestones were connected to for more power. Whether it worked or not, she had Niall to increase her own power. Those of the storms.

With the elemental's presence and her conjuring a storm, the increased magic of both beings began to create a storm much worse than any eyes could look upon.

Twisters traveled along the field, beams of water from Vivica and Niall pushed back Chug several times and her fires burned the very lands Chugs stepped on, but with his affinity to fire, he wouldn't damage his as much as the woman's shards of ice did.

In an instant, the young woman teleported across the field to avoid his fiery attacks and kin that ran after her. Her birth mother's scythe was taken from her back and with a swift swing, his kin had fallen. Shards of ice pierced Chug's flesh!

Niall charged in, appearing before Chug as it sent off a flash of lightning from his form, bursting out and stirking him and moments after, she too had done the very same. Disappearing and reappearing before Chug and with a charge of lightning, she struck him and sent him back.

"Your life ends TODAY, CHUG. YOU WERE THE MISTAKE." The woman's glowing eyes full of malicious intend stared to his own downed figure. "I should have ended you before you became the monster you are now. Niall, again! This ends HERE!"

Chug would feel the immense power. She was strong and annoying strong. Her attacks were something to worry about indeed. He would have to deal the turrent of winds,fire, water and wind. Chug would hate this feeling he was being beaten as the woman would send tons of ower to hurt him. Chug would send his own back to attack her.

It was hard though as he watched his minions be consumed by her power. It didn't matter to him though. They were trash and if they couldn't handle this they deserved to die. He would keep on his attacks over and over. Though her own were hard to deal with.

He would then knock her hard. But she would send a turrent of water to send him flying back.

Gritting his teeth and slamming his chain on the ground. She was a damn annoying magi. Her power would finally manage to send Chug back. He would laugh at the pain even though it was surgering greatly through him. This pain it was all that would only fuel his revenge. He would not rest until she paid for her insolence.

"This not over its never over for you. I shall make you regret this! RARRRGAH!" He says going back in for a attack.

The battle was intense indeed. Alot of anger was focused in this battle. The two seem to indeed. Hold alot of grudge in this fight. But it would collide now. all the pain and anger flaring all over the place. Chug would indeed not hold back. He would watch his creatures be consumed more and more. They would keep being used for his own gain.

Staying on her more then ever. He would slam his chain across her body. Which would send her flying. Though a arrow of fire would sweeten the deal even more. He would go in for a attack but be met by a powerful blast of water. Chug would screech with anger but push back.

He needed to immobilize her movements. Slamming his blade he would create a powerful wave of fire which would hit her over and over.

Trying to be careful of her attacks he would then send a wave of heat to keep her in place. A arrow of fire would be releashed from his palms that would send into a world of pain. A chuckle given as he was now the one stnading.

"Does it hurt mother? Does it hurt on how you are nothing but a failure? Hahhahahaha! Now get up we are not finish. You Trash." He says prepared to fight once more.

Chug's maniacal laughter felt like nothing but fuel to the woman's magic. Her mind drifted elsewhere for a mere second and because of this mistake it had cost her the very fight, but she wasn't going to allow another defeat.

"Kraus damn it.." She spoke under her breathe and rose from the ground. "Niall, MORE!" Vivica's voice boomed the second many bolts of lightning struck down around her very form, connecting like tendrils to her body and charging her attacks.

Winds that twisted around her being swept in the lightning magic along with the rain from the skies. Both her and Niall were empowered by the massive storm brewing ahead.

The air began to grow cold, suffocating a bit and their breaths could be seen as she panted. Fire magics were put out.

"I'm no failure." Vivica spoke and her chin raised. The fire that seared her back into a wall of the caverns hurt like hell, but she did her best to brush off the pain. Water magic stuck to her body, healing damages and enabling her to continue.

"This. Ends. Now."

"YOUR LIFE ENDS NOW."

Vivica's voice was loud and boomed throughout the caves, yelling over the thunderous skies and beating of the ran against the ground. Her breath was visible in the ever increasing, sheer cold atmosphere that surrounded her, but soon that cold was pushed out, formed into shards to again pierce the yokai's flesh and render its movements slow.

Niall mimiced its summoners movements by teleporting across the field or hiding itself away through the foggy battle ground in the caves, making for a stealthy attack with lightning and to push Chug back with a larger beam of water!

Vivica's scythe was wielded and upon teleporting before Chugs, lightning surged around her form and down the weapon and to its blade the moment she swing and took off one of his arms.

There wasn't mercy for this creature who sought her demise, therefore there'd be no mercy granted for it either. A destructive blast of water again sent him back once again!

Vivica reappeared before him to cut away at his other arm and taking it off!

The woman's disposition was indeed calm and that was visible on her feature aside from the many grunts she made with each attack and swing alongside Niall.

"Your life is mine to claim."

A swing of her scythe into the creature chest, but... without her knowing, she missed its heart. "Bleed. Die. Your kin can have you. Perhaps they'll be much more challenging than you are when they grow. You're a failure just like Cucco. I'm a Loirdne. I'll never fall to Kraus' mistakes." And with that, the woman would take off towards Cinderfall with Niall, bloodied, pained. Her head bled, her arms did as well with fresh cuts even by her own magic, and her body hurt. Within her grasp now had been the yokai's arms, dragged by his chains by her own tendrils and whips of water that attached to her.

Would the yokai bleed out? Or live to fight her once more in the future?

With close combat come mistakes and these times of life mistakes should not be made. Chug would be on her. Yet, his foolish actions of going in with rage would only cause his downfall. Chug had not thought things clearly. This woman was not a fool. She had plenty of experience dealing with his kind. He should have worried about that very much.

He would fell his movements slowed. The damn ice magic! How he hated things such as this. He would then feel the scythe go through his flesh. His minions once more consumed by the fires of the abyss. Chug would grubble with anger. How he hated this very much indeed.

He would then feel as one of his arms would be took away from his body. Anger would go through his mind. Though as he charged to attack a huge burst of water would send him flying. Chug would screech with pain.

As he would hear she would take off another one of his arms.

He would then feel the slash go through his body. He would hear the words as he his body fire would fade into bitter darkness. Almost seeming as the mana force was now completely gone. He would hear the chains fade as he saw red. The blood surgering in his brain. The hatred burning higher than ever. Yet, no flame to come at all.

Chug would only reflect. The words going through his mind,

"You will pay that is a promise traitor you will pay." He says as the mercenay would wait until she was gone to go retrieve the kaor. Chug was heavy but the mercenary was no weakling. He held his own against Chug every day. The man would pick the beast up and would shake his head.

"Ahhh the Queen is gonna kick your ass Chug. But lets go uh repot this okay." With that he would vanish when Vivica was fully gone. Only a burning symbol of a cross left where Chug's body was. Indeed once the two met again Chug would be changed into much more demonic beast.
