- 1v1 Pokémon battle with special rules held after each gym battle (and any other major battles).
- Each player sends out 1 Pokémon. Pokemon can only be used twice every match.
- The losing player cannot use the Pokemon that lost for the rest of the game, essentially releasing.
- The winning player gets to pick one of three privileges:
- TM usage.
- Held item usage.
- 1x free revival. (Or bringing a Pokemon that lost in a Cagematch back from the dead.)
