* [huh]Youmu looks at the new "maids" with an understandably suspicious eye.
* %Merry looks at EVERYTHING.
* ~[Tet]Mao stands ramrod straight and stares right back.
* [huh]Yuyuko is sitting behind a large table, looking absolutely thrilled at the company.
<[huh]Youmu> Now, please introduce yourselves to the new mistress.
<[huh]Youmu> Er, your new mistress.
<%Merry> Wooooow... So, this is the mansion? This is pretty cool! And it has sooo many flowers! it's kind of like... like...
* %Merry tries to recall someone or someplace's name, but can't seem to manage it. She doesn't hear Youmu's voice at first, but soon realizes her position and responds.

* ~[Tet]Mao manages not to roll her eyes.
<%Merry> M-my name's Merry. It's really great that you'll let me exist here as a maid, my best friends were maids! I promise I'll work really hard for you!
* [Pyg]Kuzuha simply sits there, admiring the room.
<~[Tet]Mao> I am Hong Mao Jin. I will do my utmost.
* %Merry bows and returns seated on her knees, as she's observed in the others. She still seems a little nervous.
* %Merry becomes acutely aware of an extraneous ghost-blob body part, and begins to investigate it thoroughly
<%Merry> Wo-aah... what's this?
<[Pyg]Kuzuha> ...A marshmallow?
<[huh]Youmu> Do-don't touch that!
* [Pyg]Kuzuha 's eyes wander over to Youmu, who also seems to have something similar.
<[Pyg]Kuzuha> Oh! You have one too!
<%Merry> Huh? Why not?
<~[Tet]Mao> It is your ghost half.
* %Merry rubs it gently, making some sort of unintelligible noise of the ghost-tongue

<~[Tet]Mao> Yes. For whatever reason, only half of yourself is ethereal; that is the... "marshmallow".
<%Merry> Huh... Does that mean I'm only half-dead?
* ~[Tet]Mao speaks to Merry without looking in her direction, eyes trained forward.
<~[Tet]Mao> No, you are quite completely dead, or else you would not be here. But a part of you remains corporeal. That is all.
<%Merry> Awwh... hehe, it's kind of cute, though. It squeaks when you touch it. And it feels... nice.
* ~[Tet]Mao just grunts.
* [huh]Youmu clears her throat, regaining her composure.
<[huh]Youmu> I-in any case...
<[huh]Yuyuko> Welcome to Hakugyokurou!
* ~[Tet]Mao bows low, touching her forehead to the tatami.
* [Pyg]Kuzuha bows also, but accidentally slams it on the table.
* %Merry helps Kuzuha up and brushes her forehead, before returning her attention to Yuyumu
<%Merry> Thanks! Um, can I ask something? Who takes care of all the flowers here? When I came in, I got almost got lost in the garden... It's so awesome! But I didn't see any workers, is that what we're for? And how high is the ceiling? Is this what they call the "sky"? And do you have any bloomed Amors?
* %Merry can't hold back the barrage of questions.
* [Pyg]Kuzuha is now occupied by Merry's "marshmallow", poking it in places and eventually giving it a lick test.
