[21:28] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "By the way, I still can't believe you talked me into this."
06[21:32] * Shan smiles wanly as wire thin steel filaments launch from her shoulders. 1"I can't help but feel that if we don't do something about it, we'll get left behind, and we'll lose our chance at changing things. Childish, to be sure, but that's how it is."
[21:34] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "This wind isn't always present," Haruko adds. "And, I really need to apologize to Ichi."
[21:35] <@Crow> 4The city looms on the horizon, a gigantic construction, casting a shadow over the land as the sun sets behind it. You can feel a breeze rustling the thin filaments, it is directed upwards but slightly stronger than the surrounding sea breeze

01[21:40] <Shan> "Wait, what do you want to apologize for then?"
[21:41] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "I'll tell you after." Haruko responds, maybe too quickly. She attunes her vision to the threads of fate. "And yes, I can see through solids."
01[21:42] <Shan> "Anything below us?"
[21:47] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "... I can't see anything, except for the normal threads I usual--." Haruko pauses, and a look of horror crosses her face.
01[21:47] <Shan> "Haruko?"
06[21:50] * Shan walks closer, tapping her shoulder. 1"Haruko, are you alright?"
[21:51] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "It's my thread. Just mine. It's decently strong. Regret, uncertainty, friendship. There's a lot more I can't tell about it, lots of it makes me feel sick."

[21:51] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Probably."
06[21:52] * Shan gives Haruko a quick hug. 1"Well, you can weave fate, I'm sure you could remove the ones that make you sick."
[21:53] <@Crow> 4The pile of rocks sits resolutly infront of you, just daring you to try and dive into it
[21:53] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Not all of them. Seeing and changing are different." Haruko blinks. "Come on, let's go, Shan."

[21:55] <@Crow> 4Your limb passes through the rock like a mirage. there is no ripple or distortion.
06[21:55] * Shan cocks her head. 1"Hologram, I take it. If you hold on to me we'll go down slowly."
06[21:57] * Fujiwara_Haruko nods and holds on any way she can.
06[21:58] * Shan anchors the four limbs on her shoulder to the lip of the shaft and rappels down.
[21:59] <@Crow> 4You pass through the thin facade of rocks, finding yourself clinging to the edge of a gigantic metal shaft, plummeting down below you to vertigo inducing depths
[22:01] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Someday... heights aren't going to bother me as much."
06[22:06] * Shan extends a hand outwards, a pristine steel bowl and glowing sphere ensemble quickly taking shape in the palm of her hand, casting a beam of light down to the bottom of the shaft.
06[22:07] * Fujiwara_Haruko meanwhie keeps a hold on Shan and gives her an encouraging pat on the back. The shaking might be a bit annoying.
[22:10] <@Crow> 4Ignis floats down the shaft, expanding as he goes until he is a large red flame about the size of a large truck, lighting up the tunnel

[22:11] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "What're you doing?" Her tone sounds urgent.

01[22:11] <Shan> "It's a long way and you're not good with heights."

[22:12] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "I suppose it'll take us forever with how slow you've been going on my account." She mutters. "Eyes closed now." Haruko closes her eyes.

06[22:14] * Shan kicks off the side and retracts the anchoring limbs, dropping down the center of the shaft.
06[22:14] * Fujiwara_Haruko holds on for dear life, eyes screwed quite shut, as if her life depended on how tightly she could close her eyes.
[22:17] <@Crow> 4You plummet down through the air, you pass Ignis and are almost at the bottom, heading towards the grate which threatens to turn you into mashed MG. there is a sudden flash of heat and light and a strong wind pulls you upwards, slowing you to a stop. It is hard to breath, you cant catch your breath and pass out almost immediately.
[22:19] <@Crow> 4You wake up lying on the grate, it is a little uncomfortable but nowhere near as painful as you would have expected from this sort of fall. Ignis voice rings out, he has returned to his bright blue wisp state and is floating above Shans head. 1"Wake up Mama! Whats wrong?"

06[22:22] * Fujiwara_Haruko says something incomprehensible, and probably foul. She slowly gets to her feet. "I think so."

[22:48] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Give me a good reason why I shouldn't just pry it open." Haruko says, getting ready to do just that.
01[22:49] <Shan> "Well, I was going to say that they probably have sensors to detect if it gets opened, but I would guess that bashing it in would have triggered it anyway."

[22:52] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Just be careful of any tiny projectiles. That's how they got me the first time." Haruko begins pulling the doors apart and out.
[22:53] <@Crow> 4The door grinds open with an echoing screech which reverberates down the tunnel. Behind the door is a small, empty liftshaft. it is bare apart for four track which run along the corners of the shaft
01[22:53] <Shan> "I've got a telekinetic shield, I'll keep the two of us safe."
[22:54] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "How strong?" Haruko asks, sticking her head into the liftshaft to check upwards and downwards for the elevator.
01[22:55] <Shan> "Haven't really tested what it can stop, but it's water-tight."
[22:58] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Didn't you mention Yuko having a shield when you went to the place where you came back looking like you killed people with a blender?" Haruko reattunes to fate to look for Ichi, or the server room business.
06[23:00] * Shan shivers involuntarily. 1"Yes, it kept the youma but that was the two of us, so I'm not sure how much I could do alone."
[23:00] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "You have any inkling of how she did it, or what you felt when she did it? The best direction to go is up. We'll have to ascend if I want a better reading."
[23:02] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Have any idea how to go up? My only one is to stick to anything metal I can find and climb. If we see the elevator, we bust it."
01[23:03] <Shan> "I don't really know how. Electrostatics is my best guess, using her electricity field to generate a force field of sorts to push things away. Hold on, let me try something."
06[23:06] * Shan places a steel mirror in the shaft, using the reflection to scan for the car.
01[23:08] <Shan> "Can't see the car, but there's a couple of other shafts. Aaaand wait a minute, couldn't you use your fate sense to look for anything moving along the shaft and find the car before it hits us?"
[23:10] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "That's what I meant by seeing. We have Ignis as a light, and my fate vision to double-check what we can't see using oour normal vision."
01[23:11] <Shan> "Okay, we'll do that then. I could fly us up instead, it should be faster."
06[23:12] * Fujiwara_Haruko takes a deep breath. Several deep breaths. "Alright, let's fly."
06[23:15] * Shan pulls Haruko close and beckons to the wispy form behind them. 1<Come on, Ignis.> 6She steps into the shaft and focuses, lifting the two of them upwards.
[23:17] <@Crow> 4You start to float up the shaft, Haruko guiding you which way to go as you pass through the maze of lift shafts. You eventually arrive at a closed door which feels 'right' to Haruko

06[23:25] * Fujiwara_Haruko can reminisce later, she turns back to the metal doors, and then bends them in place to trap, or delay any kind of elevators that would try going through here.
06[23:26] * Fujiwara_Haruko finishes it quickly, and thenn turns around, looking at the strings to fate to her destination.
[23:27] <@Crow> 4You are on the holding floor where you were last time, where you saw the girl, the card and Ichi. the thread leads to the room where you saw Ichi last time
01[23:31] <Shan> 6After a couple of false starts, Shan forms a pair of semi-spheres around Haruko and herself to protect them from any incoming projectiles. 1"So where to now?"
06[23:32] * Fujiwara_Haruko walks forward towards the threaded room, without saying anything to Shan. She readies an attack method, right hand sparkling with electricity.
06[23:33] * Shan brings up her swordstaff, pacing warily beside Haruko.
06[23:41] * Fujiwara_Haruko opens the door; any way would do. She wanted to see Ichi. Her days of guilt lead to this moment.
[23:43] <@Crow> 4Haruko smashes the door open brutally, inside the small, bare room lies Ichi. apparently sleeping, on mattress on the ground. He is dressed in a hospital gown and bares the marks of recent surgery. Lots of it.
06[23:44] * Fujiwara_Haruko dispels the electricity, then approaches Ichi. She lays a hand on his shoulder, gently shaking him awake.
06[23:45] * Shan waits outside the door, keeping watch for any signs of people.
[23:47] <@Crow> 4Ichi stirs slowly. his eyelids fluttering open. now that you are close you can see the cut running all the way across his forehead, partially covered by his hair. mutliple other fresh cuts crisscross his face. all of them neatly sewn up. He stares up at you blankly for a few second 1"Ha... Haruko? is that you?"
06[23:53] * Fujiwara_Haruko begins tearing up, ever so slightly. She leans in, then gives him a full on kiss on the lips. She lingers for two seconds, then disengages, face still hovering over him. "I'm sorry." She apologizes directly. "You were only trying to help. I can't blame you for making a mistake you didn't know about. You haven't lost me." She whispers all of this to him, not caring if Shan
06[23:53] * Fujiwara_Haruko could hear. "I know you have something with Erin going on, and I don't want to get between you and him."
[23:56] <@Crow> 4Ichi smiles up at you, a slightly dazed look on his face. 1"Haruko... there are a lot of things I want to say to you. but... right now isnt the time. Im not sure that it would come out right. Im just a bit confused at the moment... everything is a bit shaky. My memories are blurry... Its always like this. when Im getting used to a new.... Upgrade" 4His face twists in discomfort at the last word

[00:03] <@Crow> 4Ichi uses you to lift himself up to a standing position, almost dragging you to the ground at the same time. He is freaking 4heavy4. He stands unsurely, moving sluggishly. 1"Im... Im okay"
06[00:05] * Fujiwara_Haruko gives Ichi a hug. It's strong, and heartfelt. She lingers for a while, before stepping away and walking over to Shan, voice now deadly serious. "I'm serious, not a pip of this to anyone, Shan." She turns to Ichi. "Come on, Shan and I need your help."
[00:07] <@Crow> 4Ichi nods and walks after you slowly, stumbling every now and then. You hear the 'ding' of elevator doors opening
06[00:10] * Shan whirls around to face the elevator, a shimmering shockwave reflector springing to life as she directs a burst of impossibly bright light and shock towards it.
[00:14] <@Crow> 4There is a equally loud bang as all of the Elevator doors fly outwards, propelled by small explosions, one of the slams directly into Shan, only just stopped by the deflector shield. as the smoke clears you see men in black combat armour emerging from the shaft, pointing large, strange looking assault rifles at you. there is another loud bang from the other end of the corridor. A loud voice blares from speakers in the roof 1"Stand
[00:14] <@Crow> and you will not be harmed! Attempt to resist and extreme force will be used"
06[00:24] * Shan snaps her fingers, sending the clatter of steel on plastic through the hallways as the magazines and chambered ammunition slide out of the assault rifles. <Stun them!>
06[00:31] * Fujiwara_Haruko steps forward into the hallway proper. She feels anger and hate boiling up as fuel for her magic, but instead channels raw mastery of magic as fast as she can, to replace it. She screams an unintelligible warcry as a focus. Her hands smash into the metal floor, and great arcs of electricity are sent from the impact point to crawl across floor and wall. Each faceless goon
06[00:31] * Fujiwara_Haruko is slammed with enough electricity to send them flying. Beaten, bruised, battered, but not dead. She hoped.
01[00:32] <Shan> <Which way to the server room?>
[00:33] <Fujiwara_Haruko> <Ask Ichi while I scan.> Haruko shoots back, using her fate sight to get a feel as to where the server room would be.
[00:33] <@Crow> "Open Fire" 4The voice from the speakers is cold and flat but you can hear a tinge of glee in it as you are suddenly pelted with hundreds of projectiles from behind. It feels like you are caught in a hailstorm of metal. the sound of gunfire roars behind you.
[00:34] <@Crow> 4The small pellets stick to you where they hit, you can feel them slowly digging in deeper, burrowing in like small parasites.
[00:39] <@Crow> 4More men, dressed the same as the first lot swing out of the lift shat infront of you, they appear to be rappelling down the open shaft. the lift isnt there. The first men who come out of the shaft are holding two large disks which they run forward to place on the ground
06[00:43] * Shan dashes into Haruko and Ichi, merging their shields and extending it to fully encase the three of them. 1<Ignis! Like before! Suck up all the air!>
[00:46] <@Crow> <Okay Mama!> 4Ignis sounds jubilant as he flares brightly, turning pure white. the walls around him start to glow bright red and a wind starts to whip towards him as he burns up all of the oxygen in the corridor. You see the Men, on either ends of the corridor, crouching down and grabbing at their masks

[00:55] <@Crow> 4Ichi slams through the door, tearing a Ichi sided hole in the thick metal without slowing down. He glances over his shoulder 1"Though that might work!" 4He grins slightly, and continues charging, smashing through the wall of the next cell
06[01:00] * Fujiwara_Haruko backs up near something metal, and then reaches a hand behind her towards a wall that isn't currently melting. The wall magnetizes, and the closer she gets to it, the more the bullets are pulled out. Haruko screams in pain.
[01:00] <Fujiwara_Haruko> Once they're out, Haruko follows Ichi, tearing holes with her hands as needed.
06[01:03] * Shan sprints after Ichi, channeling fire and TK through her veins to slag the bullets and eject them, screaming incoherently all the while.
06[01:07] * Shan looks back and stretches her hand out, pulling one of the assault rifles and magazines into it.

06[17:25] * Fujiwara_Haruko says something unintelligible, mostly being on the way of jumping down before Shan grabbed her and did it first.
[17:26] <@Crow> 4you are instantly caught by the lift shooting up underneath you, pulled upwards by Ichis weight on the cable 1"GET OFF WHEN IT STOPS!!" 4Ichis voice echoes up the shaft towards you as you fly upwards.
06[17:30] * Fujiwara_Haruko waits.
06[17:30] * Shan hollers down the shaft 1"HOW ARE YOU GOING TO COME UP?"
[17:33] <@Crow> 4There is no reply from the bottom of the shaft except for more gunfire. After a bit more travel the elevator eventually grinds to a halt, halfway up to a door.
06[17:34] * Shan pushes Haruko through the door. 1"Can you see Ichi? Is he still holding onto the cable?"
06[17:35] * Fujiwara_Haruko powers on through her nervousness and the funny feeling rising from the pit in her stomach. "I don't know!" She replies, getting through the door in the fashion deemed most necessary.
[17:38] <@Crow> 4You smash your way through the doors, breaking your way into a long white corridor, completely deserted and silent. one door at the end of the corridor.
06[17:39] * Fujiwara_Haruko checks the rest of the corridors for other doors a surprise attacker might run out of.
06[17:39] * Shan locks the telekinetic shields back into place and leaps down the corridor, planting a flying kick onto it.
06[17:41] * Fujiwara_Haruko runs after Shan planting a flying kick into a door, feeling a bit of annoyance creep into her. Haruko wanted to take this slightly slowly just to be safe, but nooooo.
[17:42] <@Crow> 4You flykick your way down the corridor, landing halfway down it. The floor flashes brigt red underneath your feet for a second before fading back to white with a low whine

[17:51] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Looks like the room we were looking for." Haruko comments. "You know what to do here? I know shit about computers."
[17:52] <@Crow> 4The room is a large open area, dark black as a stark contrast to the rest of the white facility. servers line the walls and there 4was4 a large bank of computer monitors in the centre
01[17:54] <Shan> "Can you shut down the power in this room? We just need the hard disks."
[17:56] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Find outlets, unplug. Gotcha." Haruko begins looking for cords or outlets she can yank power off of.
06[17:58] * Shan tosses her hands into the air and follows to do the same. 1"I was hoping you could shut it off with your electrical element."
[17:59] <@Crow> 4You find the power outlets with relative ease, they are built into the wall, there are no switches or plugs
06[18:01] * Shan stands back and telekinetically uses her swordstaff into the wall around the outlets in a conical shape, hoping to cut the wires and stop power being fed into the room.
[18:02] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Wanted an easy solution." Haruko grabs a nearby computer tower and looks for anything that can be used as a power supply. If she can find it, she'll drain the sucker. Failing that, she'll find some way the power's flowing in and take care of that, through absorption or destruction.
[18:03] <@Crow> 4Shan slices through the wires, sparks shower across the backs of the server towers and the blinking lights fade
06[18:08] * Shan paces around the room, pulling out the cases and opening them up, pulling out the hard disks as she goes.
[18:09] <@Crow> 4You soon have an armfull of harddisks, there are still more to go.
06[18:12] * Shan ejects a couple of steel cables from her backs, using them to form a backpack/disk holder of sorts before packing the hard disks in.
06[18:12] * Fujiwara_Haruko leaves first, on the watch for attackers.
[18:13] <@Crow> 4You exit the room, back into the still empty corridor, a large backpack full of harddisks on your back
[18:15] <@Crow> 4The lift shaft still gapes open, the floor is completly silent
01[18:15] <Shan> "How far to the surface?"
06[18:16] * Fujiwara_Haruko rubs her forehead. "Really, most of the distance up is in that damn shaft. It's not too far there, relatively."
01[18:18] <Shan> "Let's go then." 6bands of steel clink snugly into place to avoid jarring the hard disks as Shan walks out onto the lift and looks downwards.
[18:21] <@Crow> 4The shaft is pitch black, you cant hear anything.
06[18:21] * Fujiwara_Haruko hangs on.
01[18:21] <Shan> "Haruko, Ignis, can you find Ichi?"
06[18:23] * Fujiwara_Haruko focuses on the threads of fate to look for Ichi.
[18:24] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Very, very down."
01[18:25] <Shan> "Straight down?"
[18:25] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Pretty much."
06[18:27] * Shan shrugs. 1"Good enough for me, hang on." 6grabbing hold of Haruko, Shan steps off the side and plummets downwards, using a combination of TK and iron semi-circles to slow their fall and avoid hitting the walls.
06[18:29] * Fujiwara_Haruko continually focuses on her fate sight to guide Shan towards Ichi. Mostly this involves going downwards, but there just might be a turn involved. If there is, she'll inform Shan.
[18:29] <@Crow> 4After what feel like an age of falling Ignis calls out loudly from below you 1"Ground coming Mama!"
06[18:30] * Shan slows down gradually, bearing in mind the relative fraility of their cargo.
[18:32] <@Crow> 4You touch down fairly lightly, your cargo is probably fine. you notice that you are standing in a sizeable crater of dented metal. there are two small tunnels leading off in either direction
06[18:33] * Shan reforms the double layered TK shield around the two of them, this time adding a third layer of steel for more protection. 1"Where to?"
[18:33] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Left." Haruko heads there.
[18:34] <@Crow> 4After walking down the small tunnel for a little while you come to a large metal pipe, the side has been torn off, revealing it to be filled with different coloured wires and cables.

06[18:36] * Shan dismisses the steel layer and waits for Haruko.

06[18:38] * Shan grabs the hand and hauls him to his feet. 1"You alright?"

06[18:39] * Fujiwara_Haruko was rooted to the spot, in some kind of funk. She lets out a breath she didn't realize she was holding. "We have what we came here, now that we've found you."
06[18:40] * Shan pulls Ichi into a hug. 1"We are, now that you're here. Time to ditch this place, how do you feel about flying?"
[18:41] <@Crow> 4Ichi shighs 1"Thats good. Im glad you're all right, I shut down most of the power and the security systems but I wasnt sure that they wouldnt find you"

06[18:42] * Shan punches Ichi's shoulder playfully. 1"I've lifted Erin and Yuko's fat asses before, I can lift you easily."

06[18:43] * Shan gestures at the backpack. 1"I'm not sure magnets are a good idea right now."

06[19:45] * Shan reaches over to squeeze Alex's hand. 1"I know how it feels, but there's only so long you can go without sleeping."

[19:58] <Kanazaki_Ai> "but why would they?

[19:58] <Alexandra> "Well, given that they've basically retreated to working for TI for the moment, and these two busted into their labs recently, not to mention all the theft they pulled, they probably should be looking for them.  And known associates.  Such as myself."
[19:58] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Oh yeah, guess Shan and I didn't say anything about it to you, Morrisan. We kind of pulled a heist on TI."
06[19:59] * Shan buries her head in her hands. 1"I'd be more worried about what they're doing in there."

06[20:01] * Fujiwara_Haruko waves Ai off. "They started it with the gun--ow. The special guns."
01[20:02] <Shan> "Speaking of which." 6Shan pulls a cartridge out from her pants pocket. 1"Alex, do you think you could pull these out of your purse?"
[20:03] <Alexandra> "I can sure try? What are they?"
06[20:03] * Kanazaki_Ai nods 1 "they have been acting weird....could we fix whats wrong with them? without killing them?"
06[20:04] * Shan rubs her arms. 1"Went through my TK shields, I think they're magic-resistant.

[20:04] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "And they try digging into you." Haruko adds.
06[20:17] * Alexandra focuses for a second, before reaching into her bag. It sparks a bit, and she pulls out a second clip, identical to the first. She opens her mouth to say something. Instead her eyes glaze over. She leans over and promptly kisses Haruko on the lips. She then pulls back, and her eyes clear. She sounds urgent 1"Where'd I go just now? Did I start talking about the ocean?"
06[20:18] * Fujiwara_Haruko sits there, shocked and flabbergasted. She eventually recovers. "No, you fricking kissed me on the mouth."
[20:19] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "I wish you talked about the ocean, that would be less embarassing!"
06[20:19] * Shan stares blankly for a solid five seconds before shutting her mouth.
06[20:19] * Kanazaki_Ai coughs trying not to laugh
06[20:20] * Shan tosses her hands up into the air. 1"Great! Maybe next someone can pop in and start kissing Morris!"
[20:21] <@Crow> Morrisan looks over at Shan 1"That would be most inappropriate Shan"
06[20:21] * Fujiwara_Haruko turns to not look at Alexandra, and instead decides to contemplate a spot on a wall. "Congratulations, you produced one of those magic bullet things." She mutters.
06[20:21] * Kanazaki_Ai laughs softly 1 "I think Haruka would get mad if I did that."
06[20:21] * Alexandra looks flustered. 1"Did I? Uhhhh.... Sorry? I guess? I really wasn't trying to if that makes you feel better? A-anyway. Anti-magic bullets? What are we doing with them?"
06[20:23] * Shan taps her forehead rhythmically, almost as though she's trying to knock herself into unconsciousness. 1"I wanted to see what it looks like when opened up."
06[20:26] * Alexandra hands over the clip.
06[20:27] * Shan ejects a round from the magazine, gingerly pulling the bullet out and focusing, telekinetically the round lengthwise.
[20:27] <@Crow> 4Inside the magazine the bullets look like tiny curled up cicadas. made completely of metal
[20:27] <Alexandra> "Please tell me these things aren't alive."

06[20:28] * Shan scratches her arms. 1"I think they're impact triggered, but just to be safe, don't touch them."

[20:34] <Alexandra> "I'll stick with the magnifying glass for now, I'd... Rather avoid using a lot of magic for now.  If you need the other just ask though."

06[20:36] * Kanazaki_Ai watches curiously before looking at morrisan 1 "hey Morrisan if theres something wrong with the security forces. do you think we could reverse it or fix them?"
[20:37] <Alexandra> "I might be able to.  I've actually had some pretty good luck counteracting dangerous magic."
[20:38] <@Crow> 4The moment shan tries to cut open the 'bullet' it explodes into shrapnel with a ringing noise that sets you teeth on edge and gives you a piercing migrane
06[20:39] * Shan drops the magnifying glass and clutches her head. 1"Oww."
[20:39] <Alexandra> "Okay whatever you just did.  Don't do it again."
[20:40] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Holy crap. It kind of looks like it works like a tiny shotgun inside of a normal bullet."
06[20:41] * Shan grits her teeth and massages her temples. 1"If shotguns gave you migraines, sure."
06[20:41] * Kanazaki_Ai shakes her head 1 "maybe we shouldn't use magic to try to open it"
[20:42] <Alexandra> "Haruko, do you still have any of those knives? We might be better off trying to open it normally."

06[20:43] * Fujiwara_Haruko almost instantly takes out a switchblade. "If nobody's gonna volunteer I'll give it a shot."
06[20:43] * Shan eyes the knife warily. 1"You know what, never mind, let me do it."
[20:44] <Alexandra> "Okay, where did you get that one, because I know we didn't have any of those in the room."
06[20:45] * Fujiwara_Haruko shrugs, then slides the switchblade to Shan. She looks at Alexandra. "Nervous habit."
[20:46] <Alexandra> "You have a nervous habit of finding switchblades?"
06[20:47] * Shan tries again, this time using a pair of chopsticks to hold the cicada in place while she opens it up with the switchblade.
06[20:47] * Kanazaki_Ai moves even further back than last time 1 "you know Haruko...if you really wanted to injure yourself that badly.. I wouldn't mind practicing my healing magic on you not having to break my own bones would be a relief."
[20:48] <@Crow> 4Shan manages to gently begin to prise open the bullets carapace before it explodes in the same fashion as last time
[20:49] <Alexandra> "Okay so we're not getting these open."
06[20:49] * Shan scrabbles backwards, shaking her head. 1"No good. Alex, could you try?"
[20:49] <Alexandra> "What makes you think I'd be able to get these things to not explode?"
06[20:50] * Fujiwara_Haruko flinches at the explosion. She answers Alexandra first. "Just knives. I'm not home all the time." Then Ai. "Maybe. It would be a yes, but my blood seems to be fine now."
06[20:50] * Kanazaki_Ai nods at Haruko 1 " I think I'm going to step out if you keep making those things explode though."
01[20:51] <Shan> "Well, Haruko and I were in the TI facility, maybe they were calibrated to hit only us."
[20:51] <Alexandra> "Seems to be and is are very different beasts.  I'm going to keep up the Purification for a while to be sure.  And how long were you in there before they started shooting at you?"
[20:52] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Probably a few minutes at most."
[20:52] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Well, in the actual facility."
01[20:52] <Shan> "I don't know. I don't keep a watch."
06[20:53] * Alexandra rubs her temples. 1"I swear to god if I have another memory blackout because of this..."
[20:53] <Alexandra> "Give me the knife"
06[20:54] * Shan passes the knife over hilt first. 1"Go nuts."
06[20:55] * Alexandra grabs the knife, slides one of the bug-bullets out, and brings it down in a chopping motion.
[20:56] <Alexandra> "I will not be going nuts today, or anytime in the forseeable future, but thanks for the suggestion."
[20:56] <@Crow> 4You must be starting to get tired of these explosions? this time its Alex who cops the shrapnel in the face and the worst of the migranes

[20:57] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Alright, this is obviously going nowhere. Let's try tossing it at a wall?"
06[20:58] * Shan spreads her hands in defeat. 1"So much for that idea. Why not try pulling out another batch that don't explode?"
06[21:00] * Alexandra looks shaken 1"Absolutely not. I am DONE with these fucking bullets."
[21:02] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Alright, now what? Apparently we have tiny supershotgun bullets that explode if you put pressure on them.""

06[21:08] * Kanazaki_Ai crouches down pressing her hands to her head as they begin to glow trying to remove all the discomfort shes been feeling over the day. sighing as she looks down visibly looking nine months pregnant 1 "great..overdid it again."
06[21:08] * Alexandra sighs 1"It's not you. It's the bullets and my stupid brain."

01[21:27] <Shan> "Well, the first was to modify the mirrors so that I can use them to detect the youma and automatically align them so we know where to look. The second was for you or Yuko to use a map and your powers to predict where the youma are going to appear for the next week. The third was to ask Alex about Stormpulse, but since she can't keep that up all the time I don't think it'll work."

And I'd like to point out that nobody's really done ANYTHING about the martial law thing.  They don't exactly have international reception of their actions to worry about, do they?"

[22:05] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "It's an awkward story, with a peppy little girl, and creepy twin clones."
06[22:05] * Shan pulls out a sheet of steel and copies down the list word for word. Sighing, she says 1"I should probably do something like this as well. Ai, we met three girls when we went down to the ocean yesterday. Mary, Freya and... Freya, they kind of... disappeared."

06[22:32] * Shan hovers near the ceiling, looking down on the plaza. 1<Where do you think they are?>
[22:33] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Heh, knife store. Where're the magical girls?" Haruko asks, looking around. Her gaze lingers briefly on a shop before moving on.
01[22:34] <Shan> <Something large coming this way from the rooftops.>
[22:34] <Alexandra> "Probably headed towards that."
[22:34] <Alexandra> <Which direction>
[22:34] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Crap. I think I hear a kid over there." Haurko says, pointing in a direction.
[22:35] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "I'm going." Haruko takes off.
01[22:35] <Shan> <Looks like a large lizard, lots of legs. Can any of you get up here?>
[22:35] <@Crow> 4Haruko starts running towards the direction that Shan saw the thing approaching
06[22:36] * Kanazaki_Ai nods 1 "I'm going to find some shelter actually...I'll be in touch I'll cover any injuries to all of you after it's over, sorry i can't do much more"
06[22:38] * Alexandra says a bad word before taking off in the same direction, slamming her hat onto her head. 1"Don't worry about it. I got four signals around here. The others should show up as soon as we crash into this thing"
06[22:38] * Shan reaches down with her telekinesis, pulling Haruko and Alex up to her height and pointing at the lizard.
[22:40] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Aw, crap. Gotta get past this thing to save the kid." Electricity gathers around her fist.
01[22:41] <Shan> <So it's a youma?>
[22:42] <@Crow> 4A few people stare as Haruko and Alex float up into the air. You catch sight of the Youma it looks like a huge, many legged lizard, sprinting across the rooftops, it is completly black except for yellow stripes across its back. It is speeding towards you at a blinding pace
06[22:42] * Shan kicks her swordstaff at the lizard. 1<It's a youma!>
[22:44] <Alexandra> "I'll try to keep us in the air from here."
06[22:44] * Alexandra closes her eyes and focuses for a moment. A translucent sphere, glowing with a pale light spreads out around her. Those caught in the bubble have the sudden sensation that they're underwater. It's persistant, and it feels a little hard to breathe, but other than that, it's fine.
06[22:44] * Kanazaki_Ai ducks into the most sturdy building she can find trying to distract herself
06[22:45] * Shan stomps on the haft of her weapon, sending the blade rocketing out towards the lizard, coils of cable-thick fire trailing after it.
[22:46] <@Crow> 4The effect washes across the courtyard, the people milling around gasp in astonishment as their hair starts to float upwards, hanging around their heads like halos. You see a few small children chasing each other in huge bounding leaps like they are on the moon.
[22:48] <@Crow> 4There is what looks like a huge explosion between you and the youma and a black blur bursts up out of the rooftop roaring like a dragon 1"You cant hide from me Drakeling!!" 4The youma rears back and the blurs exaltation is cut short as Shand staff slams into their back
06[22:49] * Alexandra thinks fast 1"Please leave the area! This is about to become a very dangerous place to be!"
06[22:49] * Shan shouts at the blur. "WHAT IN THE FLYING FUCK ARE YOU DOING!?"
[22:49] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "I think it's already dangerous!"
[22:50] <Alexandra> "My point about leaving still stands!"
[22:51] <@Crow> 1"GAAAHHHHKKKK!!!!" 4Is the only reply as the rope of fire raps around the blur, now stationary and almost completly hidden from view by the tines of fire, made to hold a youma. The Youma itself leaps down off the rooftops into the courtyard, landing with a crash. The people on the ground scream and start running chaotically as, to them, a huge crater suddenly appears in the middle of the square.
06[22:53] * Shan dives towards the youma, eight limbs of glistening steel outstretched. 1<Haruko, help me!>
[22:53] <@Crow> 4As the Youma jumps down you can see something behind it, strangely reminiscent in shape, it looks like a huge, mechanical spider, all shiny brass and copper, venting steam from its joints as it pelts across the rooftops after the youma. You can see a tall figure standing atop it, perfectly balanced, the wind whipping at their long blonde hair 
06[22:54] * Fujiwara_Haruko dives towards the youma, ready to unleash electricity. <No need to tell me twice!> She regards the newcomer(s(?)) with a bit of wary curiosity, not intent on pulling back.
[22:56] <Alexandra> "I'll uhhh... See what I can do for the guy."
[23:00] <Alexandra> "Hey! Sorry about that, my friend has bad aim.  Can I give you a hand with that?"
01[23:04] <Shan> 6Spear tipped streams of shining steel erupt from Shan's back, hurtling towards the youma with a vengeance, slamming into the youma's many legs and pinning the youma to the ground.
[23:05] <@Crow> 1"UUUUUU WAH!!!" 4There is a mighty bellow as the ball of fire explodes outwards, the black clad figure inside it dropping down onto the roof top, clothes rather singed. They are wearing what looks like a stereotypical ninja costume, complette with bandanna over their nose and mouth, spiky black hair sticking out the top. Chains are wrapped around their arms and legs. They turn and give you a thumbs up just as the mechanical spider
[23:05] <@Crow> barrels into them, sending them flying into the air, across the courtyard
06[23:07] * Alexandra swears 1"They're fighting. Of course they're fighting. This can never be simple can it."
06[23:08] * Fujiwara_Haruko clasps her hands together, then closes her eyes, focusing electricity into them. One second later, she thrusts both hands forward. Like a puppetmaster, she swings and moves her hands around to control the long snake of electricity, forming itself into a majestic oriental dragon, tinged black. Its eyes are crackling orbs, and anyone who can derive empathic feelings from
06[23:08] * Fujiwara_Haruko them can feel waves of hate roiling across its form.
[23:08] <Fujiwara_Haruko> It dances in the air towards its target, and then sinks its fangs into the youma as it careens into and past it. It flies further, then loops around for another pass, dissapating into the metal of Shan's attack as a final hurrah.
[23:10] <@Crow> 1"Im so sorry! I didnt see you there!" 4The girl atop the spider calls out after the soaring black clad person. She gives the spider a whack with the large wrench slung over her shoulder 1"Bad Boy!" 4She is wearing short shorts and a puffy white mens shirt, a large tool belt on her waist and a pair of welding goggles on her head, holding back her blonde curls

[23:12] <@Crow> 4The youma is torn to pieces completely, the shreds raining slowly to the ground. not a single piece larger than small cat remains
06[23:15] * Shan lands heavily on the ground, surrounded by the steel wires which retract into her shoulders as she starts sifting for the oblivion seeds. 1"Alex! You can come down now!"
06[23:15] * Alexandra flashes a thumbs up. 1"Go Team."

[23:16] <@Crow> 4The person in black is currently buried in rubble from where they crashed into the building across the square. The mechanical spider leaps down from the roof top and the girl, now that she is closer you see that she is much older than you first thought, at least 20, waves up at you 1"Wow! That was amazing! Good work!"

06[23:17] * Fujiwara_Haruko gathers power into her arms, and then steps forward, releasing it in a large bolt of destructive fury. It slams into a building, smashing a great chunk of it to bits.

[23:17] <@Crow> 4Shans head bursts into flames, bright flickering yellow and red flames sprouting from her scalp
06[23:18] * Kanazaki_Ai slowly walks out of a building walking over to everyone 1 "is anyone injured?"
[23:18] <Alexandra> "FREAKIN' MAGIC!"
06[23:18] * Shan finishes scavenging for the oblivion seeds and waves at the woman. 1"Hello there!"
06[23:18] * Fujiwara_Haruko almost seems calm as she charges the same building and begins to rip it to pieces as best as she can. Her face is frozen into a manic smile, and her eyes are wild.

06[23:19] * Shan yelps and runs after Haruko, grabbing her arms from behind.

06[23:20] * Fujiwara_Haruko turns around slowly, and belts Shan right in the face.

[23:25] <@Crow> 4The pile of rubble explodes outwards, one large chunk flying across the square and hitting Haruko, sending her flying off shan who narrowly avoids getting pasted by a wall. 1"GUWAHHH!!!"
[23:26] <Alexandra> "Yeah.  We're from around here.  I could be wrong, but I got a scan off earlier and there were four of you, and I only see two.  I hate to sound paranoid, but..."
06[23:26] * Kanazaki_Ai bows back to Mitsuki 1 "I'm Kanazaki Ai, I wish we would have been able to make a better welcome. but, we can make up for that later"
[23:27] <@Crow> 4The person in black bursts out into the square, holing a large knife underhand in an attack position, they glance around and then relax slightly 1"Whe'd it go?" 4she speaks in a strong british accent
06[23:27] * Fujiwara_Haruko attempts to set her vision right. She looks for her attacker, snarling. She launches herself at the person in black.
06[23:28] * Shan gets up, nursing a bleeding nose and screaming something about that time of the month. She levels a finger at Alex shouting 1"ALEX! I BLAME YOU FOR THIS!" 6before tackling Haruko again.

06[23:31] * Alexandra draws out a mildly wet piece of cloth from her bag. 1"This has been a weird day."

06[23:34] * Alexandra dashes over to the fight, and shoves the cloth over her roomates mouth.

[23:43] <@Crow> 4The girl in black is about to stab Alexandra in the chest in mid air, to send her slamming back down into the ground when her face explodes in a spray of blood

[23:44] <@Crow> 1"STOP IT NOW!!" 4Mitsuki screams, holding out her hand as a swarm of what looks like tiny blood soaked bees return to her, curling up into ball bearing shapes

06[23:46] * Shan telekinetically pulls Alex out of the sky, stepping in between her and the girl in black with swordstaff in the plough guard.

06[00:08] * Fujiwara_Haruko lets out a groan. "Aaaaaugh... what happened...?" Haruko attempts to stand.

[00:12] <@Crow> 4The figure walks forwards, you can see them more clearly now. a tall figure wearing a heavy rust red cloak. underneath that they appear to be swathed in dirty white bandages over their entire body

[00:16] <@Crow> 4The figure walks towards you, casting a glance over the group before snorting derisivly

[00:17] <@Crow> 4She leaps up and charges towards the bandaged figure, holding her wrench like a club
06[00:18] * Shan reprises her earlier role and tackles Mitsuki midcharge.

[00:20] <Alexandra> "OKAY IF YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE AN ENTRANCE LIKE THIS JOKER, YOU MIGHT AS WELL SHOW YOURSELF NOW YOU LAST PERSON."
06[00:21] * Shan thunders into Mitsuki with the speed and momentum of a runaway train, collapsing yet another piece of disposable scenery as she restrains her.

[00:23] <@Crow> 1"I dont know who this dick is. But Im tearing them a new one" 4Catherine sprints forwards at the bandaged figure, knife held behind her. The figure holds out a hand, the other still under its cloak and Catherine freezes instantly.
[00:24] <Fujiwara_Haruko> "Hey, dickslurry!" Haruko yells at the bandaged man. "What the fuck are you doing here? If you want to wave your dick do it at home!"

[00:27] <@Crow> 4The bandaged figure stares at Haruko. You can see Catherine straining, her muscles bulging, her veins standing up as she growls through her teeth like a mad dog, still completely motionless. The figure speaks, in a voice that sounds like dry sand running over bones 1"Get out of here now and I might not kill you."
[00:29] <@Crow> 4The figure takes a step backwards, still holding an arm out to Catherine. half a second later there is an explosion infront of the figure, when the dust settles you see a person standing in a crater infront of the figure. they are wearing halfplate armour and have a lance slung over their shoulder. a helmet obscures their head
06[00:30] * Fujiwara_Haruko freezes, hand going near her torso. She stops, and considers the scene before her.
06[00:33] * Alexandra swears. She thrusts her oar forward, an invisible torrent of energy slams through it, and into the Ninja from England. There's a sudden popping sound and the... whatever it was, is washed away.
[00:33] <@Crow> 4The knight(?) speaks, the have a strong australian accent but their speech is somewhat stilted. you notice that they have a small stuffed toy dragon hanging from the side of their armour 1"You are a killer. I am going to kill you."
[00:34] <Alexandra> "Oh good lord.  HEY BOTH OF YOU.  IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO KILL, I'VE GOT SOMETHING WAY BETTER THAN A PERSON TO MURDER THE SHIT OUT OF"
[00:34] <@Crow> 4Catherine collapses to the ground and the bandaged figure cocks their head at the knight(?), lowering its hand unperturbed. Catherine doesnt move.
06[00:34] * Fujiwara_Haruko runs forward and attempts to grab Catherine and bring her to relative safety.
[00:36] <Kanazaki_Ai> "ok i think the plan should be to grab the two injured girls and lets get out of here  and let those  two fight. were not really in a condition for this right now."
[00:36] <Alexandra> "How would both of you like to save the world, and in doing so, commit the cool crime of deicide?"
[00:36] <@Crow> 4Catherine snarls at Haruko, hanging limp in her arms 1"Let me go! Ill kill the cocksucker!"
06[00:36] * Shan curses foully and bodily lifts the restrained Mitsuki, jogging towards Haruko and Catherine.

[00:37] <Alexandra> "I'm not going anywhere until I get a response back on this."
[00:39] <@Crow> 4The knight turns around and stares at Alex, slightly vacantly, they are a young girl, looking about 14. She opens her mouth to start talking 1"What do you.."4 when the bandaged figure takes the moment to attack, blurring into action, sending the young knight flying into the air, attacking too fast for you to see.
[00:41] <Alexandra> "Oh come on Bandaids, killing a God is WAY more impressive than killing a person.  I think we can both agree on that!"
