  1. You are asleep in a forest, with no recollection of prior events. Hearing fairly
  2. aggressive sniffing sounds uncomfortably close, you begin to awaken from your
  3. slumber and see before you a vulpine face with sharp light blue eyes looking
  4. back. In a split-second it reacts and quickly leaps away from you, giving you
  5. a better view of the creature's form. Gray and black fur covers its body, also
  6. boasting a long red and black mane tied with a bead. Its crimson highlights
  7. also bring your attention to its face and claws, giving it a more predatory
  8. visage. Recalling what the locals warned to you, you identify it as a Zoroark,
  9. the 'Illusion Fox' Pokemon. Strangely, it doesn't begin to hide or disguise
  10. itself, but rather it approaches you again carefully.

  16. "Hello there," it says in an eerily calm voice. "I am Zorua, the leader of this
  17. tribe".

  23. "What do you want?" you ask, confused by his sudden change in demeanor.

  51. You take out your Pokegear and check your supplies. There isn't much left, but
  52. you still have enough to get you through the night.

  55. "Thank you," Zorua says. "Now, let's go".

  58. Zorua leads you deeper into the woods, where you find yourself walking along
  59. a small stream

  69. You follow him down a path that seems to lead deeper and deeper into the forest.
  70. Eventually, you come across a large cave entrance. It looks like it was used
  71. for many years ago, but has been abandoned now.

  73. > You ask the Zoroark about this cave.

  77. "This cave was once home to a Nidoran named Nagan," Zorua begins. "He lived here
  78. peacefully until one day, he decided to leave the cave to explore the outside
  79. world. He never returned".

  82. "So..what happened to him?" you ask.

  88. > You explore the cave.

  93. You walk inside the cave, which is surprisingly empty. The only thing you notice
  94. is a strange stone wall, which you assume must be hundreds of years old. As
  95. you stand at the edge of the cave, you hear a faint noise coming from within.

  104. You investigate the noise. It sounds like a voice, but not human. It sounds like
  105. a child's voice.

  108. "Hello? Is anyone there?"

  111. "Who are you?" you ask.

  114. "I am the voice of the wild, the voice of nature itself".

  124. "Nagan died in a battle with a Trainer named Koga", Zorua answers. "Koga captured
  125. Nagan and took him back to his lab to study him. After several experiments,
  126. Nagan became insane and killed Koga".

  140. "After killing Koga, Nagan escaped and went on a rampage throughout Johto. He
  141. destroyed entire villages, including my own village".

  150. > You ask Zorua why they brought you here.

  158. You stare at Zorua as he smiles at you. You feel an intense connection with him,
  159. almost as if you're sharing a soul.

  162. "I love you too, Zoroark-kun"., he says.
