movie night instructions - rabb.it version

1. download google chrome (sorry)
2. download the rabb.it sharing extension https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/share-on-rabbit/dplabnbcafdgpcjmibgkekpaejlfhnkl
3. to start up a room: go to rabb.it
4. have an account, if you don't have one make one
5. on the top right of the home page, click your picture and then "my room" from the dropdown box
6. you've now made a room you can share to everyone (Make sure it's an open room!!)
7. to find a sharable link, it's on the bottom right next to the stupid applause emoji (it's faint)
8. the optimal way to share videos is to find an online source in a separate tab, and then hook it with the rabb.it app.
9. to do that, find what you want to stream on a tab separate from the rabb.it room i.e https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
10. then on that tab, click the rabb.it icon on the top right of your browser and start sharing
11. head back to the rabb.it room to make sure it's hooked properly. you may need to close a few warning messages
12. adjust settings in the app by clicking the gear icon in the app
13. Now the video is ready for everyone to see. Fullscreen in the other tab and start the movie!
