  4. --------------------------------------
  5. Have you made an OC? Tell me about them, /hhg/.
  6. -
  7. No. Stop asking about ocs
  8. ---
  9. Vietnam Vet Demon. Basically Tom Brenger's character from Platoon if he was SOG and painted red and given horns, one of which is broken.
  10.
  11. Although, I'm thinking he should either be stained orange over most of his body, like a birthmark as an obvious "Agent Orange" reference. Or horribly burned because napalm.
  12.
  13. He'd probably hangout in some shitty dive bar where all the Vets hang out, so he'd know Tom Trench and Husker (If he's a vet).
  14.
  15. The gif is a rough approximation of how I'd think he'd look
  16. ---
  17. Not really "mine" per se but I did contribute to thread OC Solagne. She's the angelic inverse of Charlie.
  18. ---
  19. A lower-middle class social climber and socialite. Stepped on a lot of people to get ahead in life, married rich, old men, ostensibly to "bring some joy in their twilight years", but in reality was something of a Black Widow. Married young as well, and got rid of her more "resistant" partners (and later opponents) via poisoning, very rapidly elevating herself within the society of Victorian Britain, the fact that she traded mere intrigue and backstabbing to outright murder eluding her increasingly rich and famous social circle.
  20.
  21. However, throughout her life, she remained an outsider to whatever company she was in - seen as an overachiever among her peers, a low-born, under-educated yob by her superiors, and even when she "made it", she was considered to be an eccentric sort, though she now had a posse of sycophants, enablers, and admirers of the strange. Setting her sights on higher and higher society, she efforts plateaued when she wanted to mingle with royalty, but ended up stuck amongst the wealthy low nobility, with an empty title for herself.
  22.
  23. Her death as ironic as it was graceless: though she was a poisoner, she herself was not immune, and the staggering amount of toxic adulteration in Victorian-era food production, coupled with the exotic imports coming in from Britain's vast empire eventually brought about her end through intestinal complications.
  24.
  25. In Hell, she remains the same, superficial and sycophantic busybody in pursuit of high society, now having the Goetias in her crosshair, seeing Stolas (of all demons) as the path to Hell's royalty.
  26. Beyond her mild immunity to most poisons (they won't kill her, but she'll still feel like shit from them), and the ability to summon them (even though she doesn't know how to make most of them), she has no particularly outstanding demonic abilities, and relies almost exclusively on manipulation, sycophancy and connections. Petty and vindictive, she really only cares about her status and comfort.

  28. I like this one. How come you never write any stories or commission any art?
  29. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  30. Tell me about your oc
  31. ---
  32. A knight who once served for a king in Hell that had just passed away. Spends his times being an assassin. Also looks like a Warhammer character.
  33. ---
  34. He's of non specific height and build, he's all green, he doesn't have a face, and everyone has sx with him and thats his only defining character trait.
  35. ---
  36. An imp who's a bounty hunter, mainly clearing out raider camps in the more remote parts of Wrath. He's partial to dusters, motorcycles, revolvers, and lever-action rifles.
  37. ---
  38. Son of an Iron miner and school teacher in Coober Pedy, Australia and was born in 1953.
  39.
  40. Serves as an infantryman who fought in Vietnam from 1970-1972, joined the SASR in 1973 and left in 1976 to fight in the Rhodesian Bush War. Australian gov. finds out and finally tracks him down in 1980.
  41.
  42. They press him into near permanent service for NATO, or else they throw him in prison for the rest of his life for fighting in a war that wasn't sanctioned by the Australian gov. He spends the entire 1980's and early 1990's fighting around the world in the global war against communism, all the while his family and friends presume that he died in Salisbury in 1979.
  43.
  44. He goes to Northern Ireland in the early 1980's to assist in Operation Banner with the British against the IRA, serving in The Falklands to training Mujaheddin fighters in Afghanistan as well as a variety of off the books black operations, all the while none of his service is actually being recorded or logged.
  45.
  46. He finally gets taken out of the service in 1994, and in a last act of kindness on behalf of his government, he's permanently extradited from Australia to the USA, where his whereabouts are constantly monitored by the FBI. Finally gets assassinated by the MI6 & ASIS in 1998 (with the approval of the CIA) to tie up any loose ends that may come up in a Freedom of Information Act.
  47.
  48. In hell he takes the form of an 8 foot tall humanoid Funnel Web Spider. His outward silhouette is only nominally similar to spider demons like Angel Dust, as he has a significantly more stocky frame and a normal shaped head, but still retains the multiple arms and a pair of fang-like structures on either side of his mouth (both of which connect to a mustache, giving him a passing resemblance to Frank Zappa).
  49. -
  50. Outside of his work as a detective for the Pentagram City Metro Police Department (an underfunded piecemeal law enforcement agency that takes a back seat to overlords private armies and Goetian legions) he mostly keeps to himself and prefers to watch old re-runs of Football games he taped and his collection of Z-List horror films.
  51.
  52. On the surface many find him to be polite and charming, but these outward personality traits could be described by some as a front. Underneath he's deeply callous towards others and despite being well adjusted and mentally healthy carries a deep amount of contempt for others. This has only been exacerbated by living in hell for nearly 23 years, but these conditions were present years before he died. Even further, he has shown as being nearly completely unrepentant and in many cases prideful about what he did "in the service" although his taciturn and reserved nature usually prevents others from knowing about this.
  53.
  54. Overall he's not a fundamentally evil person, the combination of personal choices and less than ideal circumstances, mixed in with underlying mental conditions that began to manifest during the Vietnam war led him on a string of horrific actions that he justified as being "necessary" for the greater good.
