Background:
	x Aeri was born to an interracial couple with her father being korean and her mother being french. the couple had loved each other deeply and their child but they quickly found that they had too many differences causing them to argue about everything. as a child, the arguments became natural to aeri and thought that this amount of fighting was naturally in between mothers and fathers. soon the couple divorced and Aeri went under her father's custody. of course her mother wouldn't just let go of her daughter and so aeri often went to her mother in france during the summer.
	  Aeri's father thought she would need a constant motherly figure in her life and remarried twice. her first step mother came when she was 9 years and was alright but she didn't want to take care of another woman's daughter alongside her future children and divorced him when aeri was 11. it was stepmother no. 2 that Aeri's life took a turn for the worse. Soo Rang was young enough to be her father's child and aeri's own sister. it was pretty clear what the real what Soo Rang's real motive was with marrying her well off father and it wasn't love. she fit into the mould of the evil stepmother that you would only see in fairytales - she often verbally and emotionally abused aeri when they were alone and acted like a the perfect wife/mother when her father was in the room. it was only in the summer when she was in france that she could ever truly feel at ease.
	  Aeri could've probably told her mother about the poor treatment she received back in korea and her mother would've gladly taken fought for her. however aeri didn't want to bother her mother who was going through problems of her own in her career. in france, aeri could be someone else and act like someone else. she didn't dread going home because when she came home her mother would be there to greet her and take care of her. she had another life in france. it was in france that she felt loved. it was also in france that she met Theo.
	 Theo was a son of one her mother's coworkers and they met one summer when aeri's mum had dragged her to a work gathering that included their family. Theo was the perfect prince, someone you'd be willing to introduce to your parents as your boyfriend. Soon every summer she would be out and around with Theo who'd take her to the most beautiful places and act sweet to her. Before she knew it Aeri trusted Theo and had began to love him. She had told him everything about her including her evil stepmother and he would often suggest to just move to france and live with her mother. it was tempting but she knew it would be a hard to do.
	 So until Aeri turned 18 and became a legal adult she went back and forth between korea and france, from torture and fairytale. as soon as she graduated from school, she packed her bags and onto the next plane to france. she was finally free. she was also finally able to start a relationship with Theo and they were off on a great start and their relationship progressed that she even moved in with him. but it seemed as if a fairytale romance would be too easy for Aeri and Theo began to change. He often took suspicious calls in the middle of their dates, his mood changed anytime she talked to a boy even if it was just the guy at the convenience store and he even told her that her dreams of musical theatre were just hopeless especially as an asian in very western dominated industry. she should've known to break it off with him when his grip on her arms would leave red imprints behind or when he hit her after she talked to a guy during a party they went to as a couple. everytime this happened, he would apologise the day after and Aeri would forgive him because she didn't want to fight and end up breaking up like her parents did.
	 It wasn't until one night that Aeri had realised that her fairytale romance had shattered months ago. She had finally gotten a breakthrough with her dreams when she had gotten the second lead in a musical. practices would run late sometimes and so she would often get Theo to pick her up. she hadn't known that Theo would often come watch her practice with her costars with leering eyes and would grow infuriated when a male actor would touch her, talk to her or do anything related to her. one night while she was waiting for Theo to pick her up after practice, one of the male actors offered to wait with her since he didn't want to leave a girl alone on the street. Theo was angry watching them joke around and when Aeri got into Theo's car, he acted if nothing was wrong and drove to their flat. Once they got in and door was shut, Theo began to beat her and call her a whore and slut for talking to guys when she already had a boyfriend. she didn't know how long he beat her but she had found herself in the dark, her whole body ached and one of her hands was handcuffed to something. Theo visited her multiple times during a day and he would act as if he didn't just beat her black and blue and she wasn't handcuffed. She stayed there for a few days, he gave her meals and toilet breaks but would then be again handcuffed. it was a few days later that she came up with a plan to get away, she couldn't stay there. so during one her toilet breaks she knocked him out when she slammed a table lamp (lol i don't know what to use) on to his head. she couldn't go to her mum's house just in case he came for and he knew she had to get far, far away - maybe all the way back to korea. she stayed at a hotel to consider her options and called up Ryo, a great friend who she has kept in contact with all these years, wondering if she could crash at her place while she gets her stuff together. because she was not going to go back to stay with her father and get treated like crap by her step mother.
	x how she met Ryo : her flight to back to korea had been delayed one summer when she was 15 and so she was hanging around the airport in france by herself. that's when she met ryo who was also on this flight (lol i don't know what you were doing in france but you were there) who was trying to communicate with the airport staff who couldn't really understand what she was trying to say. so aeri decide to help translate whatever you were tying to say which was complaining about the flight. once they got on the pane they found that they were sitting next to each other and they really clicked. became a really close friend of hers and knew about her story. they kept in contact while aeri was living in france for the last couple of years but ryo only finds out about how theo treats her when aeri calls her for help

Personality:
	x aeri is just a hopeless romantic - she wants to be loved and have a fairytale ending. this is probably because lack of love between her parents. she's very aspirational and dreams big dreams. she likes to please people and tries hard to be liked by those around her. she could be considered an optimist always seeing the brighter side and this could be seen as very naive as she also tends to forgive really easily. this means that her feelings and opinions are often stepped on. she also prefers to see the positive as she doesn't want to really face her problems and would rather ignore it instead. she'll put up with it and wont do anything about until she can't ignore it anymore. she's a mumma's girl and she never likes to see her mum worried or concerned about her. after the crazy episode with theo she became quite paranoid especially around guys. she still had that optimism inside her but it seemed to be hidden by the worry.

His personality: Seokjin is the perfect boyfriend/husband material with his gentlemanly personality. he's good natured and extremely thoughtful which always softens people up. he's very likeable and outgoing, easy to make friends with. he's very confident especially in his good looks which leads to people groaning. despite his confidence he can also be quite awkward. sometimes he lacks common sense and does things the unconventional way which is also usually harder way to do things. he likes to be with other people and to take care of them. because he likes to take care of others, he can be quite nosy even in things that isn't related to him at all. he's very much a houseband (house husband) who likes to clean, cook, and nag.

How you act around him: aeri is wary around him (and also the rest of the male population) because of her ex. especially jin because his personality was what her ex's personality was before he went crazy. but seokjin wins her over with his naturally caring personality and she wonders if he's even real because he seems too good to be true. she feels safe around him and she hasn't felt this way in a long time but she doesn't want to open up to him. she thinks what she feels for him is just what an younger sibling would feel if their older brother was protecting and doesn't realise that she actually likes him. she feels like anything could happen with him and that there's a possibility that that she could actually achieve a happy ending.

How he acts around you: he was curious about the girl who always seemed to be looking back and was jumpy around any male. she seemed really bright but at the same time she was always scared. his nosiness comes out when she wont reveal much of himself. cares for her a lot, making sure that she's eating and taking care of herself. wants to make her happy and smile a lot. he feels that she's very vulnerable and has a sense of protectiveness for her.

First Meeting: he heard that there were a bunch of new trainees that joined because of ryo. he was curious especially when he heard some of big hit staff talk about the girl with the really strong and big voice which was expected of someone who was a musical theatre actress. he meets her when he accidentally closed the lights and locked one of the practice rooms because he thought no one was there. aeri was actually in there and begins to panic in the dark and screams, in which jin runs into the room. he sees her shaken up, apologises and tries to comfort her but she's jumpy and flinches when he tries to go near.
