  1. [21:30] Adar sternly called the wolf's attention. "Famfrit." His tone did not waver.
  2. (Adar Gutt)
  3. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4.
  5. [21:30] Famfrit asks, "Hmm?"
  6. [21:31] Adar winced, pressing down on his nose. "Why did you do it?"
  7. (Adar Gutt)
  8. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  9.
  10. [21:34] "He's a hunter, Adar."
  11.
  12. The masked man stands across the snowfields. Looking over the cliffs, as was normal for him. Looking forth at the only part of Agartha that wasn't inhabited. Totally free of the destructive cities that'd plague it for so long.
  13.
  14. "A quote.
  15.
  16. Honesty is similar to the lowering of an invisible blade."
  17.
  18. Straight from Malentines own book. His thoughts were already aligned, but slowly his mind would wrap itself around the Elder Vampire's philosophy.
  19.
  20. "If I didn't attack him first on my own terms, he would've done worse to me. He knows I'm stronger than he will ever be."
  21. (Famfrit)
  22. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  23.
  24. [21:42] He remained silent throughout the explanation, he was perhaps more than just vaguely familiar with the quote itself. His eyes peered at the wild dog's frame inquisitively.
  25.
  26. "Malentine…" Adar observed, weighing the current state of affairs. Connecting more than two dots, then tracing it back to Tobias' reason for wandering to the mountains, the Navigator spoke up once more.
  27.
  28. "Where does that put us, Famfrit?" The young man revealed his hand, then raised it forward, waving it about grimly.
  29.
  30. "Is that why you murdered Lupo as well?" A bluff, and nothing more than a hunch, yet he acted up to believe every word of it.
  31.
  32. "Aren't you a hunter likewise?"
  33. (Adar Gutt)
  34. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  35.
  36. [21:47] "You're unsure of yourself, aren't you? You're own place in our world. It's why you're so focused on it all, no?"
  37.
  38. Adar would have most of it down himself, but Famfrit wouldn't budge. The world needed more mystery, it was his own personal opinion. There was no fun if everything was straight up known.
  39.
  40. "I am a hunter, and the two of us fighting makes for a dangerous game. A true battle of wits where every advantage needs to be properly leveraged. He's safe, and I don't care to track him down.
  41.
  42. Much rather I'd enjoy the chance to teach him myself. To reorder his priorities before... he falls more out of line."
  43.
  44. They'd be an incredible ally, and truth be told Famfrit hadn't been aiming to kill him before.
  45.
  46. "Where does that put us? However you want it. I view you as a friend, Adar. But I won't blame you for hating me."
  47.
  48. The Wolf turns to nod at Nyx. Just who he wanted to see.
  49.
  50. "A minute, Demon."
  51. (Famfrit)
  52. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  53.
  54. [21:49] Ambling down from their reclusive...exterier. The snow strangly made a good place to hide a literal swarm of rats. Yet they still needed to find the reason Famfrit needed to speak with them..it seemed as if fate had all but lost interest until it steered them to the edge of the cavern entrance.
  55.
  56.
  57. Only for their mass of eyes to stare at the wolf and human and simply stay silent. Their prensence was noticed...But they remained silent regardless after all.
  58.
  59. (Nyx)
  60. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  61.
  62. [22:08] "I'm unsure of many things, yes. Though as of late, mostly involving your machinations. Did you anticipate this all along? Me coming here?" Adar shifted his weight forward, which caused his suspended body to levitate towards the masked man. "If you had long term plans with Tobias, then that means you've weighed in the obvious consequences. Yes?"
  63.
  64. His facial features, though rarely blank, remained expressionless. The navigator's eyes, locked in on the pair of eyes behind the mask, had an air of pure disconnection, like they'd be looking straight through him. There was no need to await a reply.
  65.
  66. "I'm stoked. Glad to know I'm but a piece." He'd croon, almost sarcastically. "Those with whom I have significant bonds with are unavailable for further aggression. As am I for being manipulated. My apologies."
  67.
  68. He scowled subtly. "Hate? Hate feels basic, primal." Then frowned. "I care for you very deeply, Famfrit. Therefore, I'd rather not have any conflicting feelings towards the way we relate."
  69.
  70. Then, finally halting his sluggish movement, Adar allowed his feet to come back down and touch the snow. Turning on his heel just a few inches away from the masked man, he'd walk towards the edge of the escarpment, staring down at the heights.
  71.
  72. "Perhaps you'll need to find another culprit, hm?" The navigator monotonically voiced out, turning his neck to the left and flashing his guardian a warm, contentive smile.
  73. (Adar Gutt)
  74. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  75.
  76. [22:14] "Perhaps."
  77.
  78. He'd be accepting of Adar, allowing him in close. There was nothing to fear, no. Adar was probably more afraid than he was. To walk upon Famfrit's mountain. Next to Famfrit's disciples.
  79.
  80. However wrong he may be, that's still how the masked one viewed it.
  81.
  82. "You're smart, Adar. I had hoped you'd come up here and act as an olive branch. You did just that.
  83.
  84. But, manipulated? No, I know you. We're friends, close friends. I understand you better than you could realize. It's simply by your own volition that you came up here to confront me."
  85.
  86. Looking back he'd notice yet another visitor. Fantastic. He was as busy as any of the Tribal Chieftains.
  87.
  88. "I seek freedom for all, Adar. Tobias would be a powerful member of my flock, so much so. His connections to others would only help my message spread. It would help the downtrodden break free of their chains."
  89. (Famfrit)
  90. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  91.
  92. [22:28] "My, oh my."
  93.
  94. The occultist breathily remarked, bringing a hand to his forehead disappointedly, almost in a thespian like tone. "I had hoped I'd get more flexibility out of you, taking into account we're close. But you're still as secretive as ever."
  95.
  96. He'd sigh with sly disappointment, once more concealing his hand behind the finely-embroidered cape.
  97.
  98. "I know naught of your flock, or your motives, same as them. they see you as a crook, really. I haven't been sent here, I've come to give you a chance." His brow was involuntarily shook, for whatever reason. "You might be pursued, and I can't vouch for your safety and freedom so as long as you act against my wishes."
  99.
  100. Huffing through his nose, he pivoted his head to the left once more.
  101.
  102. "You shan't continue. You're not measuring the size of the possible consequences if you do."
  103. (Adar Gutt)
  104. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  105.
  106. [22:29] Famfrit asks, "Who are they?"
  107. [22:31] Adar Gutt says, "Tobias' allies. Those concerned with his wellbeing. Those who suspect you collaborate with Ultovex."
  108. [22:31] Famfrit asks, "Those are?"
  109. [22:34] Adar Gutt says, "Mn - you won't find that out from me. That's your name out there."
  110. [22:34] Adar Gutt says, "Be concerned of me, however."
  111. [22:34] Famfrit says, "Well. Know I don't work for Sors."
  112. [22:34] Adar Gutt says, "That's a relief. Now, if only word could somehow get out there..."
  113. [22:35] Famfrit says, "Invite him to the mountain. You may come with him, I'll bring no one."
  114. [22:35] Adar Gutt says, "It'd surely make people more at ease."
  115. [22:35] Adar Gutt says, "I'll consider it."
  116. [22:36] Adar Gutt says, "I'll shake more tongue your way before I go."
  117. [22:36] Famfrit asks, "...what?"
  118. [22:37] Adar Gutt says, "Besides assaulting Tobias, and being accomplice of the murdering of Lupo, you're suspected to have a connection with the kidnapping of Rindou Sakamoto."
  119. [22:38] Adar Gutt says, "Thread carefully."
  120. [22:38] Adar tossed a worried gaze at him. "I mean it."
  121. (Adar Gutt)
  122. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  123.
  124. [22:38] Famfrit says, "I had drank and invisibility potion and I watched it."
  125. [22:39] Famfrit says, "If Tobias wants his explanation, he can come to me. But.. I'd like to add. If inaction became a crime, Aurora Elisheva is as guilty as I am."
  126. [22:39] Adar Gutt says, "You attacking Tobias right after the fourfold attempted to capture Sors spiked their suspicion."
  127. [22:39] Adar Gutt asks, "Aurora, you say?"
  128. [22:40] Famfrit says, "She came in at the tail end and allowed them to go. Though... the entire thing is a bit more complicated."
  129. [22:40] Adar Gutt says, "Famfrit, we're risking military conflict. I need to speak to Sors."
  130. [22:40] Adar Gutt says, "Things are getting out of hand down there."
  131. [22:40] Famfrit says, "I don't know where he is."
  132. [22:40] Adar Gutt asks, "Has he gone into hiding again?"
  133. [22:40] Famfrit says, "Too early to tell."
  134. [22:42] Famfrit says, "I'm sure they'll try. They're too used to being commanded, so when a threat pops up they risk everything for those above."
  135. [22:42] Famfrit says, "All I wish for is freedom, Adar. If more wish to throw themselves at me. To die. "
  136. [22:42] Famfrit says, "I'll do what I have to, to save Agartha."
  137. [22:43] Adar Gutt says, "... You're not telling me a lot."
  138. [22:43] Adar Gutt asks, "What do you mean save Agartha?"
  139. [22:44] Famfrit says, "From itself. Look towards the alliance and tell me what you see. For I see a government that's hypocritical by nature."
  140. [22:44] Famfrit says, "Aurora, Thalia, Illui, Isaac. All terrible people, yet you seem to stand them."
  141. [22:45] Famfrit says, "If you wish to make a change and fight, fight them."
  142. [22:45] Adar Gutt says, "Famfrit. It's not so easy, their leverage is too grand."
  143. [22:45] Adar Gutt says, "What you speak of is true, but subversion is not the way... at least not yet."
  144. [22:46] Adar Gutt asks, "Why would you confront those who, much like yourself, conspire?"
  145. [22:46] Famfrit says, "It's the only way. You must remember Isaac killed the Regent who stood against him, only to install his daughter after."
  146. [22:46] Adar Gutt says, "Famfrit, we do."
  147. [22:46] Adar Gutt says, "It's what we've been discussing for years"
  148. [22:47] Famfrit says, "Yet you're too scared to do something. There's already many that follow my cause. But, this isn't going anywhere. Bring me Tobias and we'll speak."
  149. [22:48] Adar Gutt says, "Famfrit, we are not scared, we are realistic. The stakes are high, and our odds little. That is why you should not seek conflict with us."
  150. [22:49] Adar Gutt says, "But that does not change that Sors has captured someone we consider of importance, and want her set free."
  151. [22:49] Famfrit says, "I can promise you she's not here."
  152. [22:49] Adar Gutt says, "I believe you."
  153. [22:50] Famfrit says, "I've nothing else to say, Adar."
  154. [22:50] Adar Gutt says, "Farewell."
