M: I appreciate it. Desaix was defeated thanks to everyone's efforts.
C: I was imprisoned as well in the south fortress. I felt so anxious and helpless I could barely get a wink of sleep. You were in capture longer than me so...it must have been really difficult...
M: Clair...I'm happy you were so worried about me. I never felt helpless though. I always knew Clive would come and save me.

C: Lady Mathilda, you keep staring at my face. Is there something wrong? If you need anything then feel free to tell me about it.
M: Ah, sorry about that. I don't really need anything, it's just that I haven't seen you in a while so I thought you looked a little different.
C: Is that so? In what way?
M: You were very kind to me the other time. You also seem to be more mindful of your environment and trying to figure out what you can do each time. That's truly wonderful Clair. You have grown up so much.
C: I-I wonder. I do not really feel much different myself.

M: Hey Clair. What happened? You don't usually talk to me first.
C: There's something about our conversation the other time that bothers me. I feel like you were somewhat mistaken.

C: About me growing up. The truth is I haven't actually done anything. Life just happened I suppose. Before I used to spend all my time in the order of knights with my brother and Fernand. There were tough times but every day was fun. I truly believed I could wish for anything and it'd be granted. However now I know that is simply not true. Nothing is going the way it should and I fell so lost...I just end up looking to others for approval...
M: Clair...
C: Things aren't nearly as nice as you say. I hate myself a little for being like this.
M: You are wrong Clair. You have truly changed for the better. There is nothing for you to be ashamed about.
C: Ah...
M: Besides who decided your wishes can't come true? Sure things don't always go as planned but you can still get what you want even if it's not how you imagined it. Don't you think it's too early to give up?
C: ...You are right. Thank you very much. I got weak there for a moment but it won't do. I can't have my brother making fun of me now.
M: You got it. And don't worry. You will definitely find happiness. Or rather Clive and I will make sure of that.
