  1. "1. Login into AWS account
  2. 2.Go to AMI's option in Images section
  3. 3.select any of the image and click action button. You will get deregister option just click the deregister
  4. 4.go to the elastic block store option and click snapshot
  5. 5.select the same named snapshot as step 3 and click action. You will get delete option. just click the delete
  6. 6. Now go to instance and follow the commands actions-->image-->create image
  7. 7. after apearing another window marke set no reboot option and named it same as AMI backup name which was previously set.
  8. 8.Now you will get new AMI for the instance and after completeting the step you will get new snapshots also. rename the new AMI as previous name and snapshot name as previous snapshot name.
  9. 9. Fllow the steps 2-8 for each instance.
  10. 10. Go to the Nagios Monitoring server and login using credentials
  11. 11. go to cd ToDos folder
  12. 12.vi AMI_Backup file
  13. 13. write mode on by clt i and change the date to current date
  14. 14.command :wq
  15. 15. refresh the nagios monitoring from the web module for AMI backup "
