  1. A short greentext story that I wrote for /sveg/ a long time ago, but never got around to posting it on my pastebin till now. Please enjoy my short work,
  2.
  3. Scared Awake
  4.
  5. >The breeze was soft, warm, and sweet smelling, easing Marco Diaz into a state of utter relaxation as he closed his eyes.
  6. >He laid within a sunny field of a variety of flowers, a literal blanket of multicolored hues and shades.
  7. >The wind caused the flowers to move and brush lightly upon his skin, eliciting a breakout of goosebumps.
  8. >This was peace made manifest, a place that allowed Marco to leave his earthly worries behind and relax without consequences.
  9. >And that wasn't even the best part.
  10. >A pair of hands were placed gently on his forehead, fingers softly running down his face to cup his cheeks.
  11. >This was the best part, for Marco knew these soft hands belonged to none other then the love of his life.
  12. >Jackie Lynn Thomas. A beautiful girl whose smile was purer then a diamond and whom Marco loved for as long as he could remember.
  13. >He placed his own hands upon Jackie's, pulling them towards his lips and planted a kiss on her palms.
  14. >"Marco..." Jackie whispered.
  15. >Marco's heart soared as he lifted his head up to receive the coming kiss to the lips that he knew was coming.
  16. >"Marco..." Jackie said louder this time.
  17. >Marco pursed his lips, feeling like the happiest guy in the whole-
  18. >Wait.
  19. >"Marco..." Jackie said again.
  20. >Only that wasn't Jackie's voice.
  21. >Opening his eyes quicker than a flash, Marco's sight was greeted by literal horror made manifest.
  22. >Janna's smiling face that was above him.
  23. >"Sup Diaz." She said in a playful tone.
  24. >Marco then woke up, screaming his lungs out.
  25. >He screamed for a good while, a shrill cry that echoed around in his room.
  26. >When he was done, he simply laid there on his bed, letting the darkness of the night engulf him.
  27. >"That's it..." Marco said to himself as he willed the recent nightmare to vanish from his mind.
  28. >"No more nachos before bed." He told himself as he closed his eyes and tried to return to the land of sleep.
  29. >"Marco..." a voice suddenly whispered.
  30. >Marco's eyes shot back open, he sat up a little and looked to his left.
  31. >There! A figure was right next to him. This practically caused Marco to scream again as he became scared.
  32. >But as his eyes adjusted and the light of the moon shone in through his window, he got a better sight of the figure.
  33. >And it was the last person Marco wanted to see after a recent nightmare like his.
  34. >Janna herself.
  35. >There she was, laying right next to him under the covers, wearing the most peaceful expression on her face.
  36. >Questions piled within Marco's mind as he contemplated why exactly this strange and creepy girl was sleeping in his bed.
  37. >"Only one way to find out." He thought as he reached out a hand towards the slumbering girl.
  38. >He placed his hand on her shoulder and shook her lightly while calling out her name. "Janna." He said, trying to wake her.
  39. >She stirred but didn't wake.
  40. >"Janna!" he said louder with another shake and this seemed to do the trick.
  41. >Janna groaned a little as she began to stir and sat up while opening her eyes a little.
  42. >Marco stared at her as she yawned once and then seemingly stared back at him with half lidded eyes.
  43. >Was she half awake? He couldn't really tell so he again called out her name.
  44. >"Uh... Janna?" He called out couriously.
  45. >At first, Janna just stared at him with those sleepy eyes, but then she smirked a little and leaned in close towards Marco.
  46. >Before he could react, Janna placed her lips against Marco's own and planted a small kiss.
  47. >Marco was left speechless as Janna leaned back, now smiling with all too apparent satisfaction.
  48. >"J-Ja-Jan-Janna?" Marco managed to stutter as his resulting shock wore off.
  49. >It was then that Janna's eyes quickly opened fully as realization finally took hold.
  50. >"Oh..." She said simply with a blank expression.
  51. >"Hey Marco." She said then while lifting her hand and slowly waved it at him in greeting.
  52. >"Janna! Just why in the heck are you sleeping in my-" Marco's question stopped once he sat up fully and tried to move his arms.
  53. >But he found that he couldn't on account that his hands were tied up behind his back with what appeared to be a thick rope cord.
  54. >"What the HECK!" he practically shouted as he struggled against the binds. "Why am I tied up!"
  55. >"Yeeeaaaa... I did that." Janna began to explain. "I do it as a precaution in case you ever wake up."
  56. >Janna sat up and tried her best to smile reassuringly.
  57. >"Heh, just like now." She said, while her smile was not convincing.
  58. >"You did this... " Marco said to himself as he went over what Janna just told him and put two and two together.
  59. >"You've done this before!" He he said shockingly as he reasoned.
  60. >Janna simply looked away, not making eye contact.
  61. >"Nnnoooooo..." She said, unconvincing once again.
  62. >Marco glared at her for about a minute before she would even meet his gaze.
  63. >"Janna..." he said eventually. "I want you out of my bed and house right no-"
  64. >"Aw, screw it." Janna interrupted.
  65. >She suddenly grabbed Marco by the shoulders and pushed him down on the bed, climbing on top of his prone form and straddling him.
  66. >"Janna! What are you doing!" Marco almost screamed as he could feel his fear return as he began to see a mad gleam enter within Janna's eyes.
  67. >Janna placed a finger over Marco's lips to silence him and she leaned in close.
  68. >"I know, come morning, that nothing between us is ever gonna be the same again Marco." She quietly said.
  69. >"But I'll decide what exactly changes..." she ran her finger down his chin to the first button of his pajama shirt.
  70. >"...Because now, I got you all to myself tonight." she cooed as she undid the button.
  71. >Janna then brought her lips close to Marco's ear and whispered.
  72. >"Your safe-words are 'Help me'."
  73. >Marco wanted to wake up from this nightmare.
  74.
  75. >Elsewhere
  76. >Within Star's room, inside a nest made from Marco's very own red hoodies. Laid Star Butterfly herself, clutching three circular objects close to her chest.
  77. >Star could feel the warmth that these orbs radiated and it brought a loving smile to her face.
  78. >For these were her and Marco's eggs. Their very own babies to be.
  79. >Star rubbed her cheek against the largest egg as the heart on her cheek began to glow at this action, which then caused the egg to start glowing as well.
  80. >She could still remember the day Marco and her had conceived these eggs, for she had used her hypnotic mating call to lure him into her nest, where she stunned him with her stinger's paralyzing venom to keep him from resisting.
  81. >She still felt a little guilty and bad for that last bit, but she again reasoned that Marco probably would have just ran away if she hadn't.
  82. >Better safe then sorry, she concluded. Something Marco would have said himself.
  83. >Speaking of Marco though, she thought she had heard him scream earlier and while she wanted to investigate, her motherly instincts had convinced her to stay in the nest.
  84. >She needed to defend her eggs if a threat did ever present itself.
  85. >She wasn't too worried for Marco though, he could take care of himself in a fight after all.
  86. >Settled, she hugged her eggs closer to her bosom and settled deeper within the sweater nest, preparing for sleep and the coming happy dreams.
  87. >Come the morning, she'd check up on Marco to see what had gotten him so worked up.
  88. >After all, what kinda mess and trouble could Marco find himself into this late at night?
  89. >END
  90.
