Application Essay for Blackthorn Bucks

Name: BaxFloyd

Metagames: SuMo, ORAS, monothreat

My name is BaxFloyd, or Fletcher if you will, and I would like to formally apply for a position on the Blackthorn Bucks. Although my smogon account is quite new, I have been playing showdown and (more importantly) monotype for quite some time now and I find that there are many possible strategies and Pokémon that are ignored in favour of using the same things that everyone else is. I strive to find new and creative sets for both over used and under used Pokémon, that will catch people by surprise and off guard. I am a team player and would happily collaborate with anyone, I am also always up for a good laugh.

I specialize in psychic, fire and water type teams but I can do normal and grass fairly well. my best team is probably my gen 6 psychic mono, which catches people off guard with power up punch metagross, espeon baton pass into an assault vest analytic satrmie and drain punch, hi-jump kick and psycho cut mega-medicham is generally powerful enough to break tanks and stallers.
IF you require references for proof of my skill, ranga77777 and tigerman321 both have seen me in action many times, as well as battling against me whilst I improve and test my various teams and strategies.
