  1. critique my plan to rank personal website
  2. So I'm wanting to blackhat my personal website to rank for copywriting (not that keyword specifically, the niche) as a way to bring in passive lead gen for people that may want to use me for that.

  14. So I've done my KW research and have come up with a content silo with one main article and 10 sub articles.
  15.
  16. I've been reading everything on the forums and here's what I've come up with
  17.
  18. - submit the site to a PR submission service.
  19. - Write up the content
  20. - All sub articles link to main one.
  21.
  22. My real question is how I should be promoting the sub articles?
  23. (^ tell me why that is or isn’t a good idea)
  24.
  25. GSA? Real guest posts? This is my personal portfolio website so I want this done properly over anything.
  26.
  27. I’ve also been hearing a lot about on page optimization.
  28.
  29. My websites on squarespace rn, is that a problem?
  30. You should concentrate more on backlinks than promote your guest posts. These exist mainly for internal linking + rank KW that you can't stuff in your core page.
  31. I’m still getting used to the terminology so forgive me but could you explain what exactly that means?
  32. Backlinks : links from other sites. It's a whole science and you need to read BHW for a while to get it (unless you got funds for the market place, which I warmly recommend).
  33. Internal links : links between your pages to build a silo
  34.
  35. Silo : you build you site like a pyramid. In your case, it's not important since you don't have categories. Still blog post must link to your homepage with differents anchor words
  36.
  37. KW : your keywords
  38.
  39. Core page : best KWs are used in title and h2
  40. - since it's a landing page, you'll have limits of how many you can use.
  41. - links to your blog post so they get backlinks power too.
  42.
  43. Blog post : build post, but stay aware they'll rank as landing page for their KW. Write your texts accordingly.
  44. - put natural links in it that contain the KW of your core page
  45.
  46. With these infos, you should be able to find deeper insights on the forum and Google.

  63. I definitely have some $, but want to spend it the best as possible.
  64. Which do you packages do you recommend?
  65.
  66. A PR submission service, or one of the link building packages?
  67.
  68. And these packages should be promoting the main home page, and not any of the articles, right?
  69.
  70. How should I go about promoting the articles at a later date?
  71. Begin with a Serp fox subscription to see your rankings. Test your on page until you you get some good results.
  72.
  73. The create backlinks.
  74.
  75. For the PR I don't know because I don't do english seo. Diversity backlinks and expired 2.0 worked well for me. You can find plenty of providers if you search well.

  81. It is FAR cheaper to opt for something like SEO Power Suite's RankTracker than go with SerpFox. RankTracker is much better, more powerful and easier to look at for local/global desktop/mobile results. Just FYI.

  83. I’ll check our both.
  84.
  85. There’s no monthly subscription so I won’t be able to upgrade to a full edition until I get another client lol.

  102. Click to expand...
  103. Just realized: there will be different categories:
  104.
  105. I want do to a content silo pretty much like this
  106.
  107. Why you need copywriting >>>>
  108. long tail
  109. long tail
  110. long tail
  111. long tail
  112. long tail
  113. long tail
  114. (10 of them)
  115. Why you need email marekting >>> .
  116. * same thing *
  117.
  118. Why crypto is important >>>
  119. * same thing*
  120.
  121. How would you recommend structuring that?
  122. Look for Splash's guide to siloing.
  123. I couldn't find a guide to siloing by a user by the name of Splash. Can you link it for me plz?
  124. It's one of the most popular tread of the forum. It's locked in the top threads.
  125.
  126. I'm on mobile so I can't copy paste
  127. I think first of all you need to analyze your website and see it, than fillup your website need's like Onpage or Offpage..
  128. I’ve already gotten that websites on page SEO analyzes, for the most part it’s fine.
  129.
  130. So I think content and off page.
  131. Use some social media sharing like G plus, Facebook, Twitter, youtube, reddit...
  132. Ah yes.
  133.
  134. It seems to me the name of the game is quality or quantity links, and I have $$, so what's the best way to do this?
  135.
  136. Already did a PR submission for the homepage URL
  137. I want to promote all of the articles individually if that makes sense.
  138.
  139. Is that safe? Is that the way to go about this?
  140.
  141. I LITERALLY need someone to hold my hand (but loosely, because im slowly getting this)

  145. Then hire an seo expert. You can't expect to be spoonfed for free. I already told you a LOT.
  146. Thanks for the feedback (found the guide)
  147. Use some social media sharing like G plus, Facebook, Twitter, youtube, reddit...
  148. I think It has only good for traffic.
  149. Traffic and backlinks indexation. But Webmaster tools is more than enough for a owned website.

  153. I've looked at Power Suite to test your suggestion. It costs the same price as Serp Fox and is SOOO inaccurate. I couldn't believe the wrong rankings it showed me. It could had invented them, it would had been the same (and yes, I took the time to set up everything in details).
  154.
  155. Seriously, try Serpfox and you'll understand the gap of quality.
