  1. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Spirit-Touched Veara, "Ah, I am wakings!"
  2. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Spirit-Touched Veara, "Did say you wanted to meet, rights?"
  3.
  4. Veara tells you, "Ah, hello!"
  5. Veara tells you, "Yes. Got any idea where?"
  6.
  7. You sense the sweeping gaze of Esei looking upon you.
  8.
  9. Trailing in a bone-chilling fog, Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie flies in from the north.
  10.
  11. Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie obediently falls into line behind you.
  12.
  13. Esei blinks.
  14. Esei blinks.
  15. Esei stares blankly into space.
  16.
  17. Shadows swirl around Esei's arm as the Fingerblade of dha'Wyrden-cree shifts and turns around their hand.
  18.
  19. You pat Esei in a friendly manner.
  20. You give a trillingly melodic laugh, your frills resonating with joy.
  21.
  22. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Spirit-Touched Veara, "Mm...."
  23.
  24. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "Iyam gonna go meet someones."
  25.
  26. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Spirit-Touched Veara, "Where are you most comfy?"
  27. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Spirit-Touched Veara, "I can go to you probably easier than you can come to mes, yes."
  28.
  29. With a soft, darkly melodious inflection, Wyrden Auspice Esei Shee-Slaugh of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "Dare I ask who."
  30.
  31. Wryly, you say, "It's no one spooky, Esei. Just Miss Veara."
  32.
  33. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "She is a persons from Serenwilde. Very nice from what I can tells."
  34.
  35. Esei hums thoughtfully.
  36.
  37. Veara tells you, "Am in faethorn right now, have you been to the fae gardens?"
  38.
  39. With a soft, darkly melodious inflection, Wyrden Auspice Esei Shee-Slaugh of the Ascending Dusk whispers, "I am sure you will be fine anyhow."
  40.
  41. Veara tells you, "It is very lovely, I hope you might like it too!"
  42.
  43. You nod your head sagely.
  44.
  45. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Spirit-Touched Veara, "I haves! I'll be over in just a bits."
  46.
  47. You strike a pose.
  48. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "I'm gonna gos."
  49.
  50. ---> try to pat esei but they snuck awayyyy
  51.
  52. You pat yourself on the back.
  53. You peer about yourself unscrupulously.
  54. A wry smile spreads across your face.
  55.
  56. You touch the Mantle of Starlight and are surrounded by a brilliant white light. The distant song of an angelic choir can be heard, as you feel angelic hands lift you up and carry you away.
  57. This room has not been mapped.
  58.
  59. ---> nyoom!
  60.
  61. An area of pristine snowdrops.
  62. One or two light fluffy clouds drift lazily through the sky. Despite a surfeit of warmth throughout the rest of the area, this section of the gardens is bitterly cold. Icy blossoms descend like snowflakes from the otherwise clear sky, accumulating in sweet-scented drifts along the thinning silver path. A cliff rises sharply upwards here, looming improbably high - a metallic staircase winds lazily along the surface of the cliff, set with planks of polished wood and green jade. Staring off into space, a snowdrop fae broods as he sits cross-legged on the ground here. A young hippogriff is here, twitching dark brown wings watchfully. A curling sprig of ragweed unfolds from the ground. Spirit-Touched Veara sojourns here, veiled by incensed mists winding into a wispy fog. She wields a jade encrusted klangaxe with both hands.
  63. You see exits leading southwest, northwest, and up.
  64.
  65. You flutter your nose at the air, sensing through a cute little rabbit nose upon your face the faint traces of others in the surrounding area.
  66. You make out the scent of Veara coming from an area of pristine snowdrops.
  67.
  68. You blink.
  69. You smile brightly at Veara, your frills puffing with joy.
  70.
  71. ---> look veara
  72.
  73. Reaching just over five feet tall she is a graceful elfen lady horned demigoddess with antlers and possesses a slender and wirey build, with well-defined muscles lurking beneath sun-bronzed skin. Her long, raven-black hair cascades down to her shoulders in loose braids, each one adorned with a variety of small bone charms, feathers and the odd small twig. A pair of majestic antlers part the unkempt braids as they rise from her forehead, each one branching into numerous lethal points. Sharp almond-shaped eyes of the deepest purple peer past a stray braid or two as she watches her surroundings with intense focus. Her face is slender, graced with angular features and marked by a long scar which stretches from her left cheek down to her collarbone. Her face is painted with an image of the greenman. Her skin shimmers faintly from a thin application of oil and smells faintly of sandalwood, woody and fresh.
  74. She is wearing:
  75. a silver-brushed jacket of summery grasses
  76. a cosmic sapphire ring set with a turquoise star
  77. a pair of vined forestwalker's boots
  78. a pair of hunting pants
  79. a translucent sapphire ring of intricately etched winds
  80. a delicate crystal watch
  81. a Crown of Ophiuchus
  82. a shabby swamp-dweller's hat
  83.
  84. Warmly, you say, "Greetings!"
  85.
  86. Veara rises her hand briefly in greeting to you, "hello".
  87. Veara's posture relaxes as the faint aura surrounding her drains away, those loyal to her suddenly seeming slightly disappointed.
  88. Spirit-Touched Veara says to you, "I only discovered this place earlier and I think it is very lovely."
  89.
  90. You nod your head sagely.
  91. Warmly, you say, "Faethorns is pretty greats. Is one of my favorite spaces, full of harmony. Here, lemme get some teas for yous."
  92.
  93. You pour vanilla cinnamon tea from a porcelain bottle glazed with crashing waves into a celadon koi pond tea cup.
  94. You give a celadon koi pond tea cup to Spirit-Touched Veara.
  95.
  96. You nod your head sagely.
  97. You have emoted: Cheliyi ponders the bottle, and then drinks straight from it.
  98. The corners of your mouth turn up as you grin mischievously.
  99.
  100. You take a drink of black tea from a porcelain bottle glazed with crashing waves.
  101. Your blood surges as the black tea enters your system.
  102. Sipping a mouthful of the brew, your senses are greeted first by fiery
  103. hints of cinnamon, only for it to be smoothed out by a gentle, light
  104. vanilla that follows close behind. As the delicate flavors slip by, they
  105. are soon accompanied by the mildly bitter flavor of the tea itself,
  106. though it has been further softened by a splash of milk that washes away
  107. any unpleasant aftertaste.
  108.
  109. Spirit-Touched Veara says, "Oh."
  110.
  111. Veara takes the cup into her hands, sniffing it. "Is that some of that tea you spoke about?"
  112.
  113. From seemingly nowhere, Bizirik appears, an aromatic tomato and cheese flat bread clutched in its set of smaller forelimbs. It clumsily hands an aromatic tomato and cheese flat bread over to you before slinking back off.
  114.
  115. Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "I have sent you a snack, my most dearest mine-child! Sorry - I was writing a news post for the Beloved! And now we are gonna play chess. Did you wanna play chess??"
  116.
  117. You have emoted: Cheliyi nods emphatically, taking the sandwich from the speedy leothin with a slight grin as she watches it bound away. "Are you inexperienced in foods? I know I had never tried cooked foods until after I went through the Portal, yes."
  118.
  119. Harmony echoes in your mind as you sing to Herald Gurashi Skydrifter, Confidant in Saffron, "Ah, I am meeting a newly person! We are sharing teas and foods. But thank you for inviting me Dad!"
  120.
  121. Gurashi's melodic voice sings into your mind, "O-K! Have fun and be safe!"
  122.
  123. Veara sips black tea from a celadon koi pond tea cup.
  124. Veara takes the tea for a long while before she replies, "Yes, well, mostly I eat what I hunt. Cook that if I can afford to make a fire. Nothing fancy like the dishes some people can whip up."
  125.
  126. Striking wood notes accented with a bright, fresh fragrance drift on the breeze away from Veara.
  127.
  128. You have emoted: Canting her head curiously, Cheliyi listens to Veara's words with a soft hum. "I sees," she murmurs, "well, is certainlys a frugal way to lives. Sometimes food roasted as is is even better than complicated dishes, yes. But, now that are fate touched... I think will be able to find food more easily. I know there are plenty of amazing cooks in Serenwildes, ready to show new dishes off!" The mugwump grins, nodding assuredly. "It seems like a lot of efforts, but when it comes down to its, designs are just... what you can yank out of your brain onto paper. Not every food has to be a crazy dish, yes."
  129.
  130. Veara acknowledges your explanation with a light nod. "Yes, I've noticed. I have received very tasty things from Velcora and Llani. Your parent, Gurashi, has also dropped me a few foods since I met them. It has been very eye-opening. I didn't know what you could do with bread."
  131.
  132. A young hippogriff paws at the ground.
  133.
  134. You have emoted: Cheliyi brightens. "Ah, Velcora has been giving you food? Their dishes are the -bestly-, always cooked so wells..." She trails off, expression fond. "Ah? Uh, sorry, mind drifted. Who is your friend, yes?"
  135. You tilt your head curiously at a young hippogriff.
  136. A young hippogriff spreads his wings and shakes his head.
  137.
  138. A rush of summer warmth passes through you as you smell grass and flowers and glimpse the limitless blue of a perfectly blue, sunlit sky.
  139.
  140. Her lips curling into a smile Veara "That's quite alright. I agree that their food is really well cooked." patting the hippogriff sitting by her side, she explains, "This is Krial, my loyal companion. He and me have been through a lot together. Sturdy young thing."
  141.
  142. Muginn shakes out his feathers, the plumes suddenly glowing with an ethereal haze. Ripples of mist pool at his talons, writhing with silent, screaming faces that leave hoar-frost in their wake.
  143.
  144. You nod your head slowly in understanding.
  145. With a soft laugh, you say, "Ah, uh, this is my friend Muginn. He is... a bit snooty, loud, and demanding, but he has always stuck by me."
  146.
  147. Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie doesn't seem to know whether to be offended or pleased.
  148.
  149. You chuckle softly, your frilled tail flicking idly with amusement.
  150. You pet Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie ingratiatingly.
  151.
  152. Muginn clicks his beak, his feathers ruffling as he blinks up at you with an uncharacteristically fond look in his eye.
  153.
  154. Veara rises her hand in greeting to Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie, "Greetings, Muginn, companion of Cheliyi."
  155. Veara is now one of your allies.
  156.
  157. Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie eyes Veara warily, giving you a Look. He then seems to find something he likes, as he dips his head politely to the elfen.
  158.
  159. You blink.
  160.
  161. Muginn ruffles his feathers, stirring up puffs of fog.
  162.
  163. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "... hm."
  164.
  165. You pat Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie in a friendly manner.
  166. Muginn clicks his beak, his feathers ruffling as he blinks up at you with an uncharacteristically fond look in his eye.
  167.
  168. Spirit-Touched Veara says to you, "He's a magnificent companion. As I was helping the people at the wayfaire as Llani hat pointed me to, I saw this large egg for sale in their shop. And I couldn't resist." with a fond look to the hippogriff, "Didn't expect to have such a faithful and life-saving companion from it though.""
  169.
  170. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say to Veara, "Mm, the Wayfaire always has room for many friends, yes. I'm glad you found yours, yes. Are you having enough funds to feed him properlies? Or did you buy him a collar?"
  171.
  172. ---> look hippogriff
  173.
  174. Possessed of rare and unnatural animal mixtures, this young hippogriff is a beast born from the breeding of chimaera and pegasus. Long forgotten and unseen in the Basin of Life, the hippogriff is a fearsome, yet beautiful sight to behold. Lean legs stretch down into hooves from the beast's hindquarters, and feline paws make up the forelimbs. The hippogriff's head is distinctly horse-like in shape and size, though the mouth has been replaced by a hooked, avian beak. Russet feathers form a flowing mane that runs over the top of the creature's head then down the back of his neck and shoulders to cover a pair of dark brown wings that have grown from the shoulders. Long, flowing feathers replace the traditional tail of the hippogriff's equine heritage. He is called 'Krial.'
  175. A young hippogriff looks to be crushingly strong.
  176. He weighs about 1062 pounds.
  177. His feedbag is brimming with food and he is looking well-fed.
  178. He is loyal to Spirit-Touched Veara.
  179. You cannot see what a young hippogriff is holding.
  180. It has the following aliases: hippogriff.
  181.
  182. Veara nods lightly, "I have currently around 600,000 gold, I do hope that will last a while to feed him." she smiles, "I will eventually invest into a collar perhaps. Haven't decided yet."
  183. With sparkling eyes, Spirit-Touched Veara says to you, "Though I can tell you, growing hippogriffs sure are hungry."
  184.
  185. Muginn ruffles his feathers, stirring up puffs of fog.
  186.
  187. Veara watches Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie with fascination as the puffs of smog raise from his plumage.
  188.
  189. A wry smile spreads across your face.
  190.
  191. Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie grins smugly.
  192.
  193. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say to Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie, "You better not let it all go to your heads, huh? Get so big you'll explode into mists!"
  194.
  195. Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie rolls his eyes.
  196.
  197. Veara gives a trillingly melodic laugh.
  198.
  199. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "Yeah, all beastlies are hungry. Muginn here is... tecccchnically made of ghosts? I thinks?"
  200.
  201. Folding his wings so he can reach them easily, Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie preens his wings happily, straightening out the disheveled feathers.
  202.
  203. Looking uncertain, you say, "I never really asked. But he used to be a normal crow, yes. Now he is misty, ghosty, and a magpie."
  204. You pet Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie ingratiatingly.
  205. Muginn clicks his beak, his feathers ruffling as he blinks up at you with an uncharacteristically fond look in his eye.
  206.
  207. You smile softly.
  208. Warmly, you say, "He's stuck through the years with me all this time, yes. Am lucky to have him. Though. I think he thinks that I am an eggs, yes."
  209.
  210. Your frills twitch as you detect an errant sound.
  211. You wince in pain.
  212.
  213. Veara turning her attention back to you, "I have become one of the Listeners at the veil, as such, I find that intriguing." A brief glance to Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie, before she continues "Glad you two did stick together. It is always good to have friends, family and companions for the road."
  214.
  215. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "I gotta gos. I really am sorry to break up our meeting so fastly."
  216.
  217. You pet Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie ingratiatingly.
  218. Muginn clicks his beak, his feathers ruffling as he blinks up at you with an uncharacteristically fond look in his eye.
  219.
  220. Spirit-Touched Veara says, "That is alright. I hope it won't be the last one."
  221.
  222. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "Ah... maybe we can meet again laters? Maybe find out where all those ghosts in his feathers are froms..."
  223.
  224. You peer at Muginn, the ghost-feathered magpie unscrupulously.
  225. Muginn clicks his beak, his feathers ruffling as he blinks up at you with an uncharacteristically fond look in his eye.
  226.
  227. Spirit-Touched Veara says, "Sure, I'd love that."
  228.
  229. The corners of your mouth turn up as you grin mischievously.
  230. You nod your head sagely.
  231.
  232. Spirit-Touched Veara says to you, "Was a pleasure meeting you, Cheliyi."
  233.
  234. You strike a pose.
  235. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "It was a pleasure meeting you Veara!"
  236.
  237. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, you say, "Nyoom!"
  238. You point off into the wild blue yonder.
