  5. To calculate the cost of a single form, find all components whicha are usable in this form and add 80% of the lowest costs to the highest cost amongst them. Do the same for weights, then repeat until you have costs and weights for all forms.

  7. Cost Formula: Highest + [0.8 * Sum of Lower]
  8. Weight Formula: Highest + [0.8 * Sum of Lower]

  10. Then take the highest cost amongst the forms you want and add half the cost of all other forms to it. Do the same for weights.

  13. Weight Formula: Highest + [0.5 * Sum of Lower]

  15. Congratulations, you now have a RWBY-style weapon. Examples will be added periodically below.

  18. Form 1: Close Assault Weapon (18.5mmPC, TL10) w/Underbarelled Grenade Launcher (40mmPLB, TL10); Cost: $1000; Weight: 13 lbs
  19. Form 2: Very Fine Balanced Jo staff with hilt, integrated Zap Glove and hooks on either end; Cost: $600; Weight: 2.85 lbs
  20. Form 3: Two Electric Stun Wands with hooks and hilts; Cost: $240; Weight: 2.05 lbs
  21. Final Cost: $1420
  22. Final Weight: 15.45 lbs
