- Eastern Plains and Azalkil Mountains. The Eastern plains lay beyond some difficult mountainous terrain, often believed to be cursed. Most population, indigenous to the Magus Key, refuse to travel there, but the Arcanum often holds out expeditions in the broad plains of the east. They are home to bandit clans nonetheless, recently organized to oppose the Citadel. It is also the area where the Cryst-power Company has it's main headquarters. Those closely aligned with it, are thus not welcome, and actively hunted. This is why the explorers from the Council are advised to hire non-military guards or guides.
