  1. Hey guys, how’s it goin?

  3. Speedrunning Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom for a week straight in what I dubbed “Falsebound Week” led to some new ways for Yugi runs to die that left me just a bit down. However, because it's always darkest before the dawn, the somewhat unthinkable happened. Friday finally cut the 2 with a 1:59:44. Then, Saturday took me three tries to get 1:58:21. It was then I realized that something had to change. I was getting better times because I was getting luckier, not because I was getting better. That's not something I plan to put up with over that period of time. I'm actually putting Falsebound Week on hold after day 5 because I would like to switch things up. There's Black Pendant strats to explore at some point, but I've been at this for three months. I want to do something else for a bit. It's time I took a serious look at Kaiba's story.

  5. In other stream news, I will begin practicing for another marathon race of PPL S-Hard against Tayman, this time for Licenseathon. This week will be nothing but Pokemon Puzzle League. Find the details for the marathon at licenseathon.live.

  7. In real life news, I've got some real ear worms that will not get out of my head. I have quarantined them to a YouTube playlist I just made public today: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqRhQsKZaq_fqj4P9td8ISZpCrtTmBGWv. You may want to learn which songs to not get stuck in your head, too. Or, if you don't value your time, you may want to get absorbed in them, instead. I'm not your mother.

  9. In other gaming news, I did have one day off this week, which gave me time to explore itch.io bundle games. Here's what I played this past week:
  10.
  11. To Be a HerpWitch – This short story won a nonbinary game jam in 2019. The main character wants to be a HerpWitch, a magical Pokemon trainer of sorts, but they're not getting a familizard from the local professor in order to be one. When thieves steal the professor's familizards, our hero rescues one before it can be stolen and vows to save the others. The end. No really, the story ends before any rescuing efforts begin. The main character is supposed to be nonbinary, but it's hardly referenced after the first mouse click so I couldn't find any insight into the nonbinary experience required by the game jam competition. No sound, either, so I couldn't get sucked into the story. If this won a game jam, I shudder to think how the other submissions played out.
  12.
  13. Knights of the Card Table – Think Dicey Dungeons with cards. It looks like The Amazing World of Gumball and sounds like... something atmospheric that's not coming to mind at the moment. Once you're introduced to all of the different cards, you should be able to quickly rearrange them to your whim and just mindlessly click. In that sense, it has the same appeal as a clicker game. If you're looking for some mindless fun, this is not a bad $5 purchase to try.

  15. That’s my life story for the week. Until next time, everyone, thanks for reading!
