Q. Will you speedrun the remake?

A. I don't know until I've played it.

Q. What is slots?

A. Slots is Cait Siths 2nd limit break, which has the potential to kill any enemy in the game in one attack by getting 'Game Over' (Cait/Cait/Cait on the reels). "No slots" runs don't use this ability.

Q. Why is everybody Sad?

A. Sadness reduces the damage the character takes by 30%, but slows how fast their limit gauge fills. Fury increases how fast the limit gauge fills, but reduces the characters accuracy.

Q. What's the world record?

A. KartSeven has the record at 7:28:08

Q. How are you playing this?/Which version are you playing?

A. I'm playing the NTSC-U Playstation 1 version on an NTSC-U PS2, and capturing with a Dazzle DVC100

Q. Is slots luck or a glitch or something?

A. At the start of a fight, the slots reels start in the same place every time, so I can practice that timing to get the slots I want. However if I miss slots, or during the Hojo fight where I have to do slots more than once, I have to use a different strategy because the timing is different.

Q. Why do the characters names have only 1 letter?

A. Shortening the character names down saves time in text boxes whenever the character is mentioned. Red XIII is an exception to this, as he is mentioned so few times it isn't worth the time it takes to delete the letters. (The game refers to him as Nanaki much more often).

Q. Will you run 100%?

A. No, because there isn't a 100% counter in the game, and nobody can say what 100% is.
