  1. I was hoping that you could help out the GTV community. (GTVHacker.com) .. Last month Logitech announced that they were discontinuing the Revue and after the warranty period was up, would no longer support it. I'm taking that to mean, no software updates either. They're finally delivering the 3.1/Honeycomb updating that was announced in 2010, and supposed to arrive at the beginning of 2011. It's December!
  2. The GTV community has found a way to temporarily root the Logitech Revue, Google TV. This lets them load some of the beta OS' updates from Logitech. But every time the device is rebooted, the changes are lost. And they're only minor changes, like an ad blocker. So far the bootloader, etc is locked though and true custom roms, or even loading a generic Android/GTV build is not possible. We can't get a response from Logitech directly.

  4. If they're not going to support the hardware, and are fire sale-ing it at $75 (originally $300), why not open it up completely, so that we can maintain it ourselves in the future.
  5. Could you contact them, or write a story on this to help us get an answer? Because otherwise, they're selling $75-300/each door stops. Things that will work today, but as soon as something changes on the content side, and the device no longer works as it should for Netflix, etc, the users are out of luck.
