  4. "Currently my magic is focused around my own body. Bones, blood, nicotine or stomach acid. I'd like adjust the staff to play into those aspects."

  6. He glanced to the weapon as he continued. "We've got plenty of materials that could increase its potency I'd say."

  8. Yet, how to do that? He wasn't good at this sort of thing but after a little more thought. "Perhaps we could work on improvin' its capability to channel those natural magics of mind. At the end of the day its a natural creation, fashioned from auguria and rare metals. If we utilized some of my blood to attune it closer to myself that might do some good."

  12. [17:52] A small smile forms as he nods that was the basic idea. But he was referring to what kind of weapon it would become.

  14. "That's good and that's how almost every weapon is made. But I mean what kind of weapon will your staff become. I don't imagine your going to keep it as a regular staff. Or you could that's up to you. But I imagined changes could be made to it to help work however you wish." a nod as he smiles leaning back in his chair some.

  16. "I have my own ideas coming to mind now that your mentioning the magics you use overall."

  20. [18:02] Lauritz had a lot of talents and skills. It seemed that this wasn't one of them. His gaze shifted down to the bowl in between them.

  22. "I just need it to amplify what I already am truth be told. In an ideal world I'd just craft it onto my bones and utilize its magical circuitry as an amp for my magics." When it came down to it his body was where all his magic originated. A weapon seemed odd to him and perhaps that's why he found the staff so difficult to use at times.

  24. "What if we turned it into a flail? Kinda like a thurible at the end of a chain to store blood. Would make swingin' my blood around easier. If we fashioned parts of it from my own bone I could even manipulate the chains and head."

  30. [18:09] A smile forms as he nods thinking on the idea.

  32. "That is good. Its very possible. There is one I had as well. Could possibly also make your weapon into a pipe of sorts. Allowing you to manipulate your poisons easier. Add in some of your own bones and blood to the pipe and creation process with your weapon as is as a base and you could easily gain more control over your magics. Same could be said for the flail. At the end of the day that design idea comes down to you but both are very possible for you."

  36. [18:15] The flail was a brutish weapon that would be easy to spot. However, Lauritz wasn't a straightforward fighter nor thinker. In battle he was always working towards twisting and manipulating his opponent to walk into his traps. To in essence make mistakes.

  38. "I believe that the pipe would be best. It'd be a focal point more than anythin' else but most importantly? Folks wouldn't expect it to be dangerous. I imagine that the main goal would be to fashion a pipe which reflects who I am?"

  40. As he spoke he leaned on the armrest with his elbow idly interlacing his fingers. "I cast intuitively, usin' symbolic, visual, and mental foci. Bein' a biomancer has always leant more towards how somethin' feels more than how it is. I've always enjoyed smokin' but I've givin' it up for Chiry's sake. This could be a way to tap into those memories of the sensation and turn them into fuel for my castin' so that just make's good sense to me."

  44. [18:28] A nod is given as he smiles and leans back in his chair rubbing his chin a bit.

  46. "That would be the main goal for sure. But also to remember your weapon and how you want to make it into that. The staff you have now can be changed how you see fit and could be made smaller or bigger really all depending on how you want to do it. The metals I gave you could easily find a way to help you. One being the 'blood' of meranthe and having a strong connection to your type of magic I imagine. And the other being just a overall good metal when it comes to mana manipulation."

  50. [18:33] Lauritz considered that for a time before offering a nod to the older man.

  52. "If we weave my bones into the pipe's creation there'll be natural bone marrow throughout which would allow blood to flow through the structure saturating it with my mana. Utilizin' the bowl to hold smoke and as a conduit for it."

  54. "Could change the shape at will at that point though I imagine a larger pipe would be best. Alright, I think its comin' together in my mind more."

  56. "Could certainly fashion the material of my current staff. Use it as the foundation, so it'd probably be around its size or smaller."

  58. He then looked up to Lokhos. "I'll have to try and find other materials I wager. Austeria is certainly needed but if we took some of the elemental crystals we could crush them up. After all the Human body is fashioned from a combination of the elements."

  62. [18:44] Hearing the man talk about the process makes him smirk and nods as he leans up just a bit crossing his legs as he leans forward.

  64. "Your right so far. And that's the beauty of it actually. Think about it like this. With your bones helping make the structure of the pipe you could in theory shape it to an extent on the fly. Allowing you to always keep the enemy on their toes. It wouldn't be to drastic but it would be more than you think. The metals involved would of course limit that a bit." the smile growing as he leans back again his hands now resting on his lap.

  66. "Your staff would be a good foundation. Then crystals could be used for sure. A recommendation I would have as well is sitting some of each crystal aside. maybe around ten or twenty each and crushing them up and using heat to make them all into one form and filling it with your own mana attuned to biomancy. That would allow you to make a biomancy crystal that could be added into the weapon and serve as a mana battery to an extent. Acting as a source of power for the weapon and with runes from myself basil and others could help direct it across the weapon. Of course another facet of this weapon is the smoke and what not." a smile as he looks over to the wall on his right.

  68. "I actually think for such a weapon alchemy and farmers would be very crucial. We could make a special type of plant you could smoke with the pipe that could offer a variety of different effects depending on what you want."

  72. [18:51] It struck Lauritz suddenly that he had something that could be utilized for this. Several small fragments of magical beast cores though none of them were of his elemental alignment.

  74. He'd come back to that thought later. Perhaps after finding an Ent and bargaining for a sliver of their core? He was sure such a thing was possible all he'd to do was claim the opportunity.

  76. "I'll start workin' on the Crystals and I know just the man to help me melt them together. Lore's already a furnace at the best of times and quite a talented Runecaster as well. I imagine his involvement would help to strengthen the associations I already have with pipes."

  78. Now he was fully thinking as he heard of Basil's skills with runes. The Mooney clan would be a boon to his endeavor that much was certain. He didn't even need to worry about the weapon changing shape.

  80. "It could change enough and my bones are already there. Easily used as sharp edges or defense." his gaze shifted tot he wall as his gaze followed the natural curve of the cave.

  82. "Yes, I'll have Chiry help me with that then. She's a talented cook and alchemist. With her talents and mine we could create a potent herb... Mhm, you're pretty smart Lokhos!"

  84. He then blinked and offered a toothy grin. "I'm goin' to message her right fast." He then took out his transceiver and began to type on it rapidly. Textin' like a young'un.

  98. [18:58] The man smirks as he listens to the connections Lauritz could call in. A reminder of his past self when he was younger and getting help from others to create his own projects. A small chuckle even escaping him as he is lost in thought for a moment.

  100. "Heh smart. I guess I am. But what do you expect from someone who was the main financial source for all of serenity. It takes a little know how to fund a kingdom." the man lets out a laugh as he floats upwards and starts to stretch.

  102. "It sounds like you have a lot on hand. A suggestion as well. Bring a lot of people in to help. Even those that you may not think can help you at the moment will surprise you. There is always a use for a magic in creation. You just have to think on it. For example your herb. A earth or nature magi could help with it. Daliah or me can help get better soil for the herb to grow and produce better results. Nature magi or someone who has time magic like cathrine or who can use runes like myself of other arficers or runecasters can speed up the process." a nod given as he smiles a bit. His mind still working on what all could be done and will be done.
