- 2nd region (5,000 to 40,000 miles), beginner area, can be completed within 20-32 hours.
- Resource: Gunpowder
- Minimum-maximum speed range: 600-1,000
- Time per standard voyages: 48-80 minutes
- All building upgrades: 5,000 Gunpowder (including 1,000 for Nautical Portal)
- All ship upgrades: 2,400 Gunpowder

=== Recommended Crew ===
- Never ever buy golems or speed-only crew.
- Palmist is not needed.
- Buy 3 Eastern Overseers (Solidarity +50).
- Buy 4+ Siren Whaleriders (do not buy Eastern Guides after you unlock Siren Whaleriders).
- Buy other crew as you see fit or need.

=== Unlocking New Region (KNOW THIS!) ===
- If you unlock a new region before buying everything in the Recommended Buy Order... I recommend you buying all the SHIP upgrades from the previous region(s) even if you have unlocked a new region.
- After you unlock a new region, buy new rudder, then buy 4-6 new region crew, before going back to previous region to collect more resources for building upgrades. This way, you train the new region's crew while also collecting resources for last region's building upgrades.
