What if other industries also eat their own products:  The beverage industry owns a pipeline of bottled drinks that will eat bottled soda: Soda -> diet soda -> sparkling water -> water (or Soda -> Juice -> flavored water -> water )

In both cases the consumers could turn the dial up (more caffiene/suger, more nicotine), but they seem to prefer the lighter drinks and the lower nicotine over the jolt colas and increased nicotine.

Should we bring this technique to the gun industry?  Shoule we assimilate into the gun industry and create "vitamin water guns that fire flavored smoke"?
